If these two don't get together in the next 15-20 chapters I will be disappointed beyond what the english language is able to express. I usually don't even read comedies like this, but my god Takeda and Takizawa are literally made for each other so much it hurts my soul.

they don't. you're asking for the the end of an ongoing manga. what will it be about if they get together? they are making progress, the amount of time they spend together is increasing, and they are increasingly more comfortable around each other. others are beginning to view them as a couple, too. becoming a couple in a professional work environment is difficult even in countries with more relaxed work environment like US. i can't see it being any simpler in japan.

It's a slow burn my man. I'm just happy that there's at least some sort of progress to their relationship. And that so far, there isn't another couple to steal all the screen-time away from them.
What happens when they inevitably get married? Do they go the traditional route where Takizawa stays home despite having the better job and higher salary? Or do they go full housewife(male)?

I like the approach DameKoi is taking. The series ended with the main pair getting together (as if that needs to be spoiled, you could see it coming a mile away), but there's a sequel series underway where the two are together.
