Translations are up to chapter 9, and several after that look easy to translate. Chapter 6 is checked, I'm pretty sure. Not sure about 7. More to come at any rate.

>Use it
...

up you go

thank you

>Somehow I am feeling better
>どうでもよくなってきた
Shouldn't it be
>Somehow I don't care anymore
?

Bumo of pitiness

mc seems more chuuni than psycho if anything

You know looking again you're right. I read the na wrong and sort of interpreted it as a sort of "not" + "bothered" but it's more like "I became uncaring", isn't it?

I'll call for an update.

He's explicitly stated to have Chuunibyou in editor notes.

also here

I don't usually care about editors' notes but I translated these since I felt clarification would dissuade the expected backlash of him claiming to be a murderer in the making.

Knowing Yea Forums they are probably too dense to get the joke when this get translated

Straight up and literally I don't think you can translate this.

But if I translated it as "Like you game" where the rules are "I'll name things I like, if you agree say "Like you""

and fiddling a bit to make that reasonable. But that's the closest that comes to mind. In the original, it can be really easily interpreted in two different ways. In English, not really.

"I like it" or a simple 'Like/dislike"?

Based as fuck. Thank you for translating this series. Love it, makes me laugh every chapter.

Maybe 好き could be changed into "love" for the translation, so it could be "love game" or "things you love game" instead?

Yamada seems like the extroverted type, so maybe it'd fit for her to use "love" in a more casual context, in this case.

As well as it sounds natural it should be fine.
English is not my first language so I can't really tell if it sounds awkward.

I am more confused with how to translate "自分" in this case,
"Myself/yourself" maybe too explicit and loss the ambiguity.

It's definitely myself. The focus after she says it is on her hand kind of indicating she means herself (Yamada), which prompts him to answer at once with his true feelings.

I feel like just saying love is a bad way to go since the end is like a confession, so it should be "I love you" or "love you", but either would be odd. Like has a double meaning in English, though, so I think it works better if it's "Like you" because it can be interpreted as either "Like (same as) you" or "(I) like you (romantically)"

Yeah but the joke here is by "myself" Kyou thought Yamada is talking about herself.
So he answered without much thought and accidentally confess.

But Yamada is actually referring to Kyou as in Do you like yourself or not? kind of way. (Or maybe not, this is where the ambiguous part comes in)

Yeah? I know. I thought I said that.

Ah sorry I misinterpreted what you said.

I felt like "Like you" may sounds a bit too straghtforward though and Yamada's reply won't make much sense.
Just "Like' is fine to me.

That's why I'd call it the "Like you" game, so she would expect that answer and not react. Like wouldn't work, love is too much, like IT is inaccurate, like you achieves both a pun and the meaning closest doesn't it?

Or maybe thumbs up/thumbs down if you want to go for a more liberal approach

The MC kind of gives me a Patrick Bateman vibe.
