This is a point; you only get nomufied if you get overloaded with TOO many quirks. If Giga however has only 2-3 extremely powerful quirks, his cognitive functions might be impaired but he'd still probably be able to operate on his own. USJ, High End etc each had about 5-7 relatively shitty quirks which combined made for walking-but-braindead tanks; but if Giga has only a few extremely powerful quirks (talking Inasa's Whirlwind, Compress or Endeavour Hellflame power tiering) he'd get the benefits of the ultrastrong quirks without the drawbacks of overloading. Hell, even going off of what Deku has right now, ultrastrength heavily out-tiers Black Whip; Shoto can't use his Fire and Ice simoultaneously and both as of yet and each still come with solid drawbacks. Take the alpha strength of each of these, remove the combat drawback in favour of a social drawback (hobo in the woods) and you'd be cooking with some real gas.
Say he has a form of ultrastrength, some range (probably something to do with his eyes glowing LASER VISION) and something to do with resistance/regeneration to sustain him to in essence round him off. It wouln't outright Nomuify him would it?

The counterargument is this: The USJ Nomu only had two quirks noted, even by Shigaraki: Super Regeneration and Shock Absorbtion. The physical strength seems to have been from the experimenting on him. High End needed so many quirks to become this strong (Hosu Black Nomu also only showed Regeneration and the ability to reflect a attack if i remember it right, could be the same case), so this process must be way too much to handle for a Nomu to still have sentience like him.

I'd wager USJ had a few more than two. Going off what the guy originally looked like, that beak had to have come somewhere. Plus being able to keep up speed with All Might (moving faster than the human eye) had to have been rooted in a quirk (moreso if you consider that Iidas eugenically speed-maximised family quirk is struggling to keep up with 8-20% of what Deku is comfortable with) as well as even being able to process moving faster/fighting than the human eye can keep up with.
We don't need everything explained to us, some of it is pretty obvious in retrospect.

His goal was to make people realize that society's view on heroism is flawed, that it is fueled by greed rather than acts of selflessness and altruism. But what good was there in indiscriminately attacking heroes at random? Iida's brother would be considered a true hero by Stain, but Stain attacked him before knowing a thing about him. Why didn't Stain at the very least gather information and target corrupt heroes instead like Xerx did? If he had enough information to know "Endeavor is the worst of them all" then surely he had the means to gain intel on corrupt heroes to target instead of the innocent.

That's the thing, "Quirk" is just one acceptable translation of 個性. One could also use "individuality", or "personality".
Just to make additional examples, Kirishima has a common hardening Quirk, and most of his struggles as a character stem from the fact that he perceives his Quirk to be plain and unremarkable, especially when compared to those of his classmates.
Hell, Deku's whole character revolves around being born as a Quirkless individual. It obviously had an impact on him, nd his lack of a Quirk also made those around him treat him differently.
Ultimately, it's reasonable to think that a power that a person has for most of their life would shape the way they see themselves and the world around them.
Mind you, it's also possible that Hori simply relied on common power/personality pairings for the sake of clarity. For instance, Todoroki has ice powers, and is initially cold and distant; that's a fairly common pairing.
Frankly, however, I do not believe that to be the case.

I will say that Giga being a proto-nomu with maybe 3 quirks is possible, but hes still not the largest character incanon.
And yes he is very mutie, no human is 20 feet tall but these mutants with gigantifcation quirks are also just as mutie.
Long story short, Gigantomachia isnt human in the normal sense of the word.

Giga's never been shown to be taller or smaller unlike other Gigntification quirks. He might not be Colossal Titan height like the Yakuza shitflingers or Mt. Lady; but at the same time it would be reasonable to guess that his height really is how big he is naturally in a base state. Plus we've never seen if he has a gigantification quirk stemming off of that base state
