Is this anime scary?

It turns shit after the first few episodes. The only "scary" thing about this is how much we bought into the hype back then

No. It just meanders and bores you.

Chiaki Konaka is a one hit wonder.

Oh, it's another anime I remember watching but don't remember anything about.

Boring as hell.

"Sometimes, other people came inside me"

No but I want to fuck the main character

Great sound design. Also I like the psychology/philosophy shit in it.ED was great too, got it in my playlist all these time.

I am surprised that scene isn't a meme

No, not really. It was pretty fun though.

It has ghost in the name so it must be scary

Taro?

The scariest thing about watching anime is the realization that genuine friendship and love is extremely rare and precious.

Honestly no, but it does have amazing sound design, cute boys, and a disappointing ending.

It's sadden but it gave me a greater appreciation for the people close to me.

nope. But it is actually pretty good

why isn't this anime as popular as Lain and Texhnolyze?

Ghost slide is scarier.

No but it was AOTY

>a disappointing ending.
An epik battle commotion outta nowhere was silly as fuck but they kept the theme of
>Children shouldn't fight bullshit alone and must be protected by competent adults and even so if we talk tough high schoolers
was here from the beginning to the end consistently.

wasn't the ending too cheerful?

It's spooky and uneasy.

The scariest thing in the show is the shit the kids themselves have to go through in their personal lives. Narcolepsy, bad memories and shitty families.

The market nigger was scary, but most of the time it's unnerving at best. I don't mean that is a con, because the show is very good.

Are mental illnesses well depicted in the series? Asking a doctor

No idea, really.

I suppose in terms of showing the difficulties/clashes that happens between teenagers and kids, it does. Kids want to live a life not necessarily restricted by their problems but the parents are overly doting and controlling, OR they don't give a single shit and let them suffer alone.

unsettling.

I thought the running black guy was unsettling.

True, but that ending
