>MC is reborn in not-ottoman empire, becomes a slave-solider of the Sultan
>Jerks off with differential equations to get noticed
>Notices the Empire is a shithole
>Wants to attain wealth and status, but realizes he needs the Empire to not collapse for him to get rich and enjoy his money
>Teams up with undercover Serbian nationalist who wants to gain a high level of power to subvert the imperial governemnt for his own goals
>Together, they fight crime/Arabs/Germans/etc.
A tall, busty schoolgirl is sad. She's bustier than all the other girls in school, so they're all jealous and won't be her friend. She's taller than all boys in school, so they're all embarrassed and won't be her boyfriend.
She gets hit by a truck.
She wakes up in a world of gigantic giants. She's only tall enough to give standing titjobs, but nobody wants one from her because her tits are considered small. She struggles to be taken seriously, find true love, defeat the demon king blah blah blah and so on.
that's already better than 90% of all isekai
Person gets sent to fantasy world. They take over that world in one day. the end.
You should write and draw manga.
Isekai where MC gets sent to the Soviet frontlines smack in the middle of WW2 as a soldier Soviet soldier. Gets thrown into the local gulag for being very out of it (as he is still not sure about where the fuck he is or what happened, doesn't fight so commanding officer tosses him). Another German prisoner turns out to be a fellow isekai-er and the two team up and try to make it through to Switzerland/other neutral country in order to survive. Entire series revolves around their strong bond and trying to survive in an area where one speaks broken English and the other broken German (both are japanese)
A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
>mc is reborn into a medieval fantasy world
>people live a seemingly comfy life via capitalism
>mc discovers they work all day and it is socially unacceptable for people to take breaks
>anyone who tries to revolt is either cast out or disappears
>his goal is to become more powerful
>realizes that all the resources/knowledge are being held by the government
>only people who are born in rich families or show exceptional talent can obtain subsidy
>mc has neither and is forced to live the rest of his life as a wage-slave
>story is about mc exhausting ideas from the modern world and trying to climb up, but failing at each turn
We see the reverse of an isekai. The hero/wannabe hero who was in the fantasy world who replaces the regular person from a regular world. He's the only one with magic so he fucks around with normal people to amuse himself until he can find a way back to his universe.
I posted this last night or so and I still like it, so I'll just tldr; it:
>Useless, worthless, anti-social, introverted, NEET gets transported to a fantasy world.
>It isn't a game though; it's an actual fantasy world and he has no powers, no cheats, there's no fucking adventuring guilds, no class levels, etc..
>He finds out he's weaker than everyone, his knowledge is useless, he isn't smart, etc.. Get's robbed, beaten.
>Finally, he throws himself before the mercy of the local Church/Temple and begs for them to take him in and give him a job.
From there the story follows his "slice of life" as he becomes a responsible, hard-working, kind-hearted, dependable person and in turn dramatically improves the happiness and quality of his life. The stories more fantastical elements would slowly reveal themselves as he develops his divine powers through persistence, integrity, and fostering the kindness in himself and others.
Basically 200% Anti-NEET Propaganda.
I un-ironically love this idea
Neet dies, goes to rpg style world, he's overpowered and every person is dumb except for him, gets harem, no conflict whatsoever.
Then it's easy to make the story as long as I want if it has success.
Nice
you should have just used the Isekai Minotaur. Wouldn't have needed to edit the OP source.
A guy overworks himself to death and gets isekaid into a fantasy world with a large population of isekai'd people
The magic system would be straight forward,if you think of something you want to do then it happens, the more you do it the better you get at it
If you imagine a fireball at first I'll just be a weak flicker of fire that the wind can blow out but with training people would eventually be able to summon huge powerful fireballs
People that are isekai'd can't use this magic so they are bestowed with a special ability based on who they were before they died
In order for everyone to return to their world the darkness has to be defeated, the problem is no one knows where the darkness is and there's no hint the darkness even exists anymore
So he travels the world looking for the darkness encountering strange people, unique monsters, strange societies and gorgeous women he has sex with
>Reborn as the A.I of a powerful spaceship in a intergalactic war.
>Of course, the crew are mostly cute girls.
Both the entire US and USSR gets transported to a low fantasy grimdark world were the ruling race are high elves oppressing the lesser races and the human kingdoms are under threads from some kind of dark lord, also something as destructive as a nuke was never seen before in this fantasy world until the two superpowers showed up.
Hold on, I got another one:
>Little, squishy, wimpy shota boy gets Isekai'd and Isekai'd damn fucking hard. He doesn't end up in a Fantasy Realm, but instead is transported to a Science Fiction setting.
>All alone and scared, he's luckily adopted by a massive-tittied, pierced, tattooed, bounty hunting, space-biker, alien bimbo biker.
>They travel across the stars as odd Mother & Son pair having wacky space adventures: fighting aliens, discovering oddities, and most importantly learning valuable life lessons from one another.
>The shota boy slowly grows into a right proper little man who's brave, strong, and good. He ironically is the voice of reason in most situations.
>The big-fake-tittied alien whore becomes slowly de-corrupted: recognizing there's more in life than incidental pleasure and gradually becomes a truly high quality mother.
I wana say it'd operate a lot like Space Dandy or Cowboy Bebop in the sense that the first couple episodes would establish the 'plot' and characters and then from there it'd be 9 episodic installments of cool adventures provided with a 2-3 episode 'finale' where things get actually really serious, but then ends in them consolidating their relationship and accepting one another as Mom & Son and being better people for it.
The series should take advantage of guest artists and shifts in style to demonstrate the characters internal and external growth more vividly.
I didn't know I needed this until you posted this
During a unstoppable invasion of Earth, a soldier get transported to a fantasy world just before one of the aliens fire a shot that would of killed him, he then uses the alien tech he stole to fight the villains while trying to learn magic which he thinks can help him save his own world, at some point the aliens start showing up in the fantasy world as well.
Sounds like the manga
>How I stalked a man with an exposed nipple and ended up with the zenith blade
It's a really good read. Canceled it seems though.
This is one that I think I might write at some point.
I want this. A lot.
Also pic related.
>How I stalked some dude with an exposed nipple and stumbled upon the Zenithian Sword
actual name.
The main love interest is a woman who's a genderbent version of a martial arts manga mc, bullshit physical abilities and build included
So basically sword dad with more edge.
I almost forgot to add the part about how the MC is from one of the human kingdoms and is trying to help his king to figure out which superpower to side with
Yes, but make it like in Made in Abyss.
>MC is transfered to a Soviet Union on steroids world
>Grim dark af
>Starts a nationalist revolution
>It leads to a genocide of some poor loyalists from another ethnicity and that makes me feel guilty and shit
>He decides that the only way to make things better is by becoming the state leader
>He betrays his allies and starts climbing the party ranks
I am currently writing this story: The Life Isn't Enough
Setting Dark/Survival/Horror Isekai.
A young man who worked in a Butcher shop suffer an accident and he falls in a vegetative state, conscious but unable to communicate he struggles with this situation during three years until the doctors decide to disconnect his medic support at the request of his own mother, our protagonist doesn't want to die, he wants to keep living even if he has to live like a paralyzed man, but he can't communicate his ideas to other people so he is disconnected.
Somehow a miracle happens and our protagonist is reborn as a baby, the only child of a noble family in the capital of a country similar to Germany during the middle age, his new mother is lovely and his father is responsible a role model. It's apparently the perfect life but there is a problem with this place... as our protagonist grows old he discovers that this new world is inhabited by fantastic and terrible creatures like dragons and goblins but even worst outside of the comfortable life of the capital this country is suffering with dead and pain.
This country is cursed (that's the only explanation to the people because there isn't magic in this world) and if a man, a horse, a bird, a cow, a goblin or even fish dies in this place it comes back to life as a zombie, these monsters are three times stronger than their living counterpart and they are basically everywhere in this country which is dying because years of living with this situation.
Just like all the other men our protagonist will be recruited by the army as soon he reaches the adolescence, he will know the horror, poverty, misery and hunger outside of the walls of the capital of this decadent dead land and maybe the zombies aren't that different of him.
Do you like it? (I couldn't answer to the opinions in the last thread)
an average everyday highschooler is hit by a bus and pulled into another world of fantasy and adventure--and is even granted a super busted skill of some kind.
and so have the other 300 or so random highschoolers from various earths and time periods, all with busted skills of their own.
the kingdoms are long used to this sort of horseshit so they require all otherworlders be certified that they can control themselves walking around as human WMDs.
and so their completely ordinary high school adventure begins.
>MC is transfered to a Soviet Union on steroids world
>Grimdark af
So he got teleported to the world of 1984?
MC is a westaboo that gets isekai’d into a world of powerful wizard warriors and deadly monsters. But he’s granted a magical AR-15 with unlimited ammo. How will the deadliest wizards fare against a dude with a fucking gun!? Stay tuned to find out.
bomango quit posting and get back to making the Official Series™
Well, if everything living is turned into a zombie it kinda fucks up the food chain
Also, 3 times stronger?
Better make some cool curse like people rot or their eyes fall, or they bleed to death or some shit
Make it edgy
God I fucking wish. If I could draw my own buff ladies all my lifes ills would be gone
English parodies are too blatant for my taste
I was thinking in the line of more executions, more hunger and angier Bolsheviks
An isekai thats pretty much Futurama
A boy from a grimdark and super advance 1984 style Orwellian Earth gets isekaied into a more light hearted fantasy world, the earth government invaders and the MC sides with the evil empire of the fantasy world that actually has more freedom then his own world.
*invadeds
A guy who only cares about old FPS games like DOOM and Quake gets isekai'd into an RPG-style world, where he tries to figure out where to get guns to kill the demon lord. Unable to find anything as good as regular guns, he starts to learn fire missile magic.
Generic Japanese High School girl goes to sleep on a bullet train and wakes up on a steam train in the American old west. Arrives in Colorado. Eventually she figures out she can go back and forth by taking certain trains and being asleep before certain tunnels.
In the old west she becomes the pharmacist in town. In modern Japan she can read history books and old newspapers to get sneak peaks on her life in the past.
Comes into conflict with a former confederate colonel. Who owns the huge cattle ranch outside of town. Ends up bringing her childhood friend, who is a police officer. To the past to help.
It's a rootin tootin six gun slinging yuri filled adventure.
wouldnt telekinesis or earth bullet type magics work better? or do you mean just specking into literally all projectile spells
Actually, I got one more.
>It's everyday modern Japan, but then something mysterious happens, gradually and slowly.
>Instead of teleporting people to fantasy realms: the energies of the fantasy realms begin activating, effectively 'turning on' the folklore and the dormant supernatural forces of 'our' previously mundane world. People awaken to their dulled magical abilities and yokai & gods awaken from their 2,000 year hibernation.
>The series doesn't follow any one set of characters, but each episodes constantly shifts perspective: a salary man who abandons his job to become a medium and exorcist, the police force and their desperate race to brush up on folklore, combating the dark arts, and monster ecology, the Japanese prime minister and UN delegates discussing the various global phenomena across the world, right down to a bunch of teenagers heading out on an urban exploration adventure turned dungeon crawl.
The main deal, though, is this would be an 'edu-tainment' show: every episode would be themed around exploring or demonstrating some sort of actual IRL piece of folklore, myth, or cultural legend and how modern people could/would resolve it within a modern context. Good people will win, Bad people will 'lose' or be taught the error of their ways, and after the credits there'd be a little 3-5 minute blurb with an 'irl' expert on the myth covering or summarizing the historical context of the myth featured in the episode.
>Also, 3 times stronger?
Well to be honest Zombies are a weak treath in a realistic scenario so I decided to add the curse so they can be a real treat for the people in that country. But my zombies are unable to "infect" other people by biting them because they are created by some kind of curse but if you are bitten by one of these you better go to see a doctor because the wound can easily produce gangrene.
Zombies can't appear in a decapitated body.
If the zombies eat a certain amount of meat they change of form and nature because zombies are boring just by themselves. (I am constructing my bestiary using mythological creatures related to the dead)
I don't want something completely edgy, I just want a certain setting and a realistic confrotation against the zombies and a good horror scenario.
I don't assume that was meant for me, but sounds nice
I listen this song sometimes when I'm writing my zombie isekai story, let me know if it gives you a good vibe.
Damn it
I’m going to write an isekai where MC gets isekai’d into a bullet hell game and the whole story is him yelling shit fuck shit shit oh fuck ahhhhhhhh.
>It's a "Mothra gets isekai'd to a fantasy world as a magical monster-MILF" episode
> mythological creatures related to the dead
So Greek and Egyptian for the most part?
>MC is a genius
>Has best grades and a bright future ahead of him
>He's already about to graduate college at age 17
>is very engrossed in his work and very happy with his life
>he hates people who sit around and seek wish fulfillment while doing nothing to better themselves
>he dislikes anime, but particularly hates isekai more than anything. He hates it because it's pure wish fulfillment devoid of any creativity
>hates how people are always gifted powers and never earn them
>He's sitting in his room studying when suddenly
>he get's hit by a truck
>wakes up in the most generic isekai setting possible, with game like systems and all.
>summoned as a hero to defeat the demon king
>his worst nightmare became real
>but as luck would have it, he was NOT given any special powers whatsoever. He is a normal human in everyday
>He desperately want's to return home, but can only do this once his contract is fulfilled and the demon king is defeated
>He must now defeat the demon king while relying ONLY on his immense intellect and the knowledge he has accumulated through out his entire life
>while at the same time dealing with the horrid reality of living in a shitty trope filled nightmare constantly bombarded with obnoxious women who inexplicably fall in love with him despite his reserved and abrasive personality.
>Join us for Genius Isekai
>MC lives in a dark fantasy world and he is a chad knight
>While fucking some princess he tranfers to Chicago of today
>Niggers everywhere
>Never seen a nigger before, assumes they are evil
>Starts a purge
>Muh Maga hat conspiracy leads to actual civil war
>His side is full 14/88
>He falls in love with a black girl he was about to kill
>Fatal jungle fever
>He ends up burned at the stake amongside his girlfriend
This is the /pol/ isekai
Cringe
>boy get's bullied at school
>only person who is nice to him is a girl who is his childhood friend
>bully steals his childhood friend and fucks her in front of him after beating the shit out of him
>boy can no longer take it and commits suicide by jumping off the roof of the school shortly after
>thinks his suffering is almost over
>wakes up in beserk esk nightmare world where everything is horribly shit
>his suffering was only just beginning
>series ends with him eventually returning to his old world after he becomes the demonking after pulling a grifith on the isekai world.
>conquers his old world with demon army
>kills family of bully and childhood friend, keeps them in dungeon.
Just something absurdly edgy to the point it's comedic.
Well, it's a /pol/ isekai, it is has to be cringy
MC gets TRUCKED into a non-euclidean universe. While initially horrified by the bizarre nature of the universe and its denizens, he soon discovers that they are also quite afraid of him.
The story revolved around him learning to cope with his new home and trying to befriend his new eldritch contemporaries.
>be regular high school boy
>get killed by demon who popped into existence
>get reincarnated into warhammer 40k
I prefer to keep myself in europe for now, most part of the creatures by now are zombies, at this moment my main problem is when our protagonist and his party discover the leftover of a circus which was attacked, a pair of goblins, a tiger and other wild animals turned in zombies are enough of a big deal for a first arc (the zombie animals are three times stronger than their living versions).
By now my bestiary has:
The Draught which are created when the zombies eat the equivalent to ten times their own weight in meat. Smart and with a human appearance these guys are evil by nature. Th
Living Trees: Created when someone bury the zombies and they are absorbed by plants.
The Vanshee: These are created when the zombies are burned and the wind don't disperse the ashes for a determinated amount of time. (You need a lot of ashes)
And The Nuckelavee: This guy is what happen when I zombie eat many other zombies, they only eat other zombie but they are the sickness personified.
What do you think?
Highschool boy get's trucked, Soul drained salary man get's truck by same truck. Boy reincarnates as the hero destined to defeat the demon king while the salary man reincarnates as the demon king. They face eachother and find out that they were both trucked together. They become friends because they are the only normal people in the entire fucking world. They have to keep up the saturday morning villain, and generic hero shtick so no one get's suspicious.
isekai RTS
>truck-kun
>wake up as commander of some future-modern-ish military forces
>dude was a military otaku from the late '90s
>many fantasy/problem-prone/classic military eq is actually real
>loses his first battle but only just barely, lose was inevitable before he got there but he minimized loses considerably
>advises and then commands forces to move according to rts-like poop-socking micromanaging strategies using all the new tech
>steamrolls shit
>turns out it's actually earth just many thousands of years in the future after a massive nuclear war and he had just wiped out 2/3 of the remaining humans in the current wargames
>>>YOU MANIACS! YOU BLEW IT UP! AH, DAMN YOU! GOD DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!
Chaos Marine gets purged and reincarnated as a Japanese boy outside the 40k universe
The last one sounds like a Nurgle demon, not bad, Draught sounds demon themed too
Haunted trees are cool concept too
Vanshee, a spirit coming from a zombie? Zombies are supposed to be undead flesh, aka without spirit as Banshees are undead spirit aka without flesh, i don't think they go well together.
All the primarchs get reincarnated as japanese highschool girls
Emps is there and he's the principle
Gork and mork are also there for some reason. They sport pompadours and squat all the time. No one thinks they are out of place.
>MC dies and is reborn as a slave to beautiful cow girls
Not technically an isekai but better idea
>be boy in modern japanese esk society with your friends in highschool.
>First 3 episodes are generic slice of life/romance.
>episode 4 a chaos warband shows up and muderfucks everyone
>All of MC's friends and love interests die
>MC mindlessly charges at Chaos space marine with a shovel in rage
>he's about to get BLAM'D by chaos space marine before bobby G himself saves his ass
>Ultramarines (The greatest chapter of them all) save the few survivors of the planet
>Ultramarines offer him opportunity to join them because of how stupidly he tried to fight a CSM with a shovel
>he decides to join them and dedicates his life to revenge against chaos for killing his friends and crush
>truck'd
>reborn as a kid who got abandoned by a whore on the mountain
>taken in by a group of local cowgirl
>got breastfed until you become a beefcake
>Vanshee, a spirit coming from a zombie? Zombies are supposed to be undead flesh, aka without spirit as Banshees are undead spirit aka without flesh, i don't think they go well together.
It's part of the Isekai element. (if you know what I mean)
>write an isekai plot
>people submit shitty greentext stories
Wow you guys suck. If you want to see a good isekai plot I recommend Anonymoose's Monster Girl Saga.
>I Have No P0n0s, and I Must Fap
>Retired Demon King MC keeps getting a bunch of random people from various settings being isekai'd into his fantasy world
>Isekai'd adventurers and their parties basically end up getting jailed by him because he's that overpowered
>King of the fantasy world makes a truce with the Demon King and tries to get him to stop the source of the isekai and to resend all these adventurers to some different fantasy world, promising him to permanently call off all attacks.
>MC accepts begrudgingly because he know's that the fantasy world is going to get fucked with an critical mass of adventurers and also because he can't fit them all and goes on a dimension travelling quest to stop the isekai source.
>Demon King MC travels far and wide across several different setting, from space and cyberpunk to the wild west, to try and find the source of the isekai, making some unlikely companions who see past his crude demeanor
>Ending is him getting a tipoff from the King's alternate universe version that the King in his realm was the one behind everything, in attempt to overthrow him but also to cripple other AU to overtake them.
>Returns back to confront him
>Ends with MC and his ragtag team of companions against the King and his hoard of depraved various champions.
>All whilst the fantasy world is collapsing in on itself because of the critical mass of people who shouldn't be there.
>video game streamer gets isekai’d
>his power is that he has infinite respawns but if he dies he teleports to the starter town
>he’s very bad at adventuring
>he constantly dies and yells out woooooooow. Followed by complaining about how fucking bullshit this world is
Generally, Isekai anime have something I detest, which is the MMORPG crap shoved into it. I would rather like to subvert this and so:
>MC is one of those MMOJRPG ALL DAY EVERY DAY neets, but one that has a friend who regularly nags for them to try pen and paper. When the internet is knocked out one evening he begrudgingly agrees to attend.
>A good time is had by most, but the introduction of chance, having to think tactically instead of just standing about throwing, and otherwise having to actually ROLEPLAY instead of pre-selected dialogue choices leaves neet a salty little bitch.
>Delinquents beat the shit out of him, apparently dies bleeding in the gutter.
>He awakens in an unfamiliar place, having assumed his premade character's identity in the homebrew setting of the DM that he played with, along with the other characters his fellow player's made
>no HUD or inventory screens, suddenly possessed of a very physically fit body but not at all invulnerable, and playing a fairly standard, two-handed weapon focused human fighter, sans the JRPG "martial powers"
>With none of that to fall back on and mortality very much on the line, he'll have to actually learn to fight in a practical manner, strategize movement in real time, and fight a foe that isn't so utterly generic as an vague "demon lord."
Think lots of HEMA, getting his ass kicked trying to look cool for the female party members(who think he's a tosspot until he starts to get gud), and the reality of the world he's in flying in the face of his trope-based thinking.
Deconstructions of isekai are so common that they barely qualify as deconstructions at all.
>be mc
>be neet
>spend all my time and neetbux on bideo gaems
>one day leave neethole for new bideo gaem
>hit by bus
>think "this cant be the end theres so much i havent done like paint my figurines and kiss a girl"
>see a bright blinding white light
>cant see
>feel a rocking motion
>awake staring at a wooden floor
>notice my hands are bound
>you look around and notice youre in an alpine region
>theres other people here with their hands bound too
>hear "hey you youre finally awake you were trying to cross the border right you walked right into that imperial ambush same as us and that thief over there"
I'm afraid to because I actually kinda like my idea and don't want people copying it.
Not deconstructing isekai as a whole, I just utterly despise how often the MC is totally aware of the "gamey" aspects of the universe he's in. That's what bugs the piss out of me, and I'd kind of like to see someone who expects that to flounder in a fantasy world that isn't telling his dumb ass that his party member is a Level 45 Sloppy Gob-Slobberer, and he needs to grind goblins to catch up as a Level 39 Kekromancer.
>Gork and mork are also there for some reason. They sport pompadours and squat all the time. No one thinks they are out of place.
Sudden need
Anthology with different stories about a truck in charge of finding heroes from our world and the struggles it goes through (such as comforting the grieving family/friends even though it's a truck). It's a drama about psychological trauma.
Huh, an actually pretty good idea.
Opening spend a bit of time following the neet loser kid in high school. There's a jock bully Chad who makes his life miserable at school and a cute quiet church girl transfers to the school and neet loser is chosen to show her around. They hit it off. After school neet loser goes to try and talk to her. She's crossing the street when a truck is coming at her. MC runs up to push her out of the way but looks like he wont make it. He says it's time to dig deep and do something good with his life for once.
Then Chad Thundercock blows past him and shoved cute christian girl out of the way. Isekai is about him and his growth as a character. From here it isn't -as- important about the setting. It could be space stuff ala star wars or some dnd/pathfinder tier fantasy world. Either way the entire series doesn't go the Rance route, instead shows Chad grow into a much better person. Christian girl turns out to be a goddess type character who brings people from their shattered world to a new world that needs a hero type, so Chad essentially steals the isekai dream from the neet loser.
Chad-kun is athletic but not super smart, so subvert the typical "Im a weak neet loser faggot but I somehow know ALL about this time period!" and uses his athleticism and knowledge of how to lead a team from his time being a sports captain. Maybe if he does the thing and saves the world the goddess will send him back to his great life on Earth.
>apparently, human civilizations are transported towards an Earth rich with magic
>elves are basically humans with extremely high affinity with magic, dwarves are humans who have dextrous hands and live underground, demons are basically large very diverse humans with horns that have low affinity for magic but can produce powerful mages, giants are just giant humans, gnomes are dwarves that live on the surface, orcs are muscular nocturnal humans who hunt at the dead of night, goblins are a race of germanic shamans, mermaids are basically humans that live underwater and are very reclusive, regular humans are basically late medieval period humans with magic etc. Ratmen are basically warhammer fantasy skaven but competent
>they establish new civilizations and shit, magic is being studied as a science, mages are considered a resource so they are kept by all the factions. Everyone is basically Renaissance level at this point
>World War 1 starts very early, because the emperor of the Demons had been assassinated by various elven and 'regular' human nations, is a mixture of the Crusades and World War 1 because one of the Churches (Roman Catholic/Egyptian mix) declared war against the demon nations (used to be a giant British Empire expy but split up due to revolutions and shit)
>elves are basically germany-austria/prussia expy and humans are basically italy, dwarves are swiss and orcs are still not united because they are tribalistic and are considered by everyone as savages even by the goblins, and the goblins are ancient greece, ratmen are the soviets.nazi germany and mermaids are atlantis, and the giants are basically the ottoman empire
MC is a master chef famous worldwide
while preparing some food in a high class restaurant he slips on some grease and gets burned alive
he gets isekai'd but it's not a cozy isekai at all it's a world where all the flora and fauna are trying to kill you. Even when trying to hunt a rabbit he ended up losing his leg in the process, only few humans exist in the world and their lives are hanging by a thread. There is only one saving grace to this world. The dangerous flora and fauna in this world are all fucking delicious! Now he's on a quest to make the world's ultimate cuisine!
the Mythril Chef
kinda sounds like that one manga where MC does that, grows old, dies, is genderbent reincarnated gets reverse isekai'd and his original self falls in love with her current self
>NEET gets isekai’d
>Doesn’t become the hero, instead is an eldritch horror summoned by a mad cult
>Series follows him as he wanders the world, accidentally leaving a trail of pure calamity as his utter alienness to the world warps reality
>Has to deal with understanding of exactly how his very nature is distorting the world; i.e. completely reversing gravity or chemistry
>Psychological issues from extreme isolation, guilt, and confusion as he watches the corruption spread
>Last episode has him floating through space, the last stars having died and all returned to inert dust around him
>MC is a european teleported to fantasy america
>Is given a new identity as a student in a magical gunslinger school with a ranking system
>Must make a living challenging newly discovered 'frontiers' with monsters and abhuman natives in them
>Has inferior magic and drawing ability but uses it more creatively.
>Gains multiple cowgirl love interests.
>Ends up having to save the world somehow.
>Ancient Egyptian pharaoh is isekaied into the modern world as a loli
>Here she has to fight her Ancient Egyptian enemy using trading cards that summon spirits sealed inside
>whole planet get's isekai'd and collides with another fantasy planet but with actually threatening fantasy creatures and magic
>cataclysmic collision causes massive damage everywhere forcing the surviving militaries and population of both worlds to either fight or ally with each other in a bid for territory or resources
Artist goes to Cyberpunk world
i've seen the idea
>reincarnated as a pair of panties
a few time, is there any actual plot you could do with this
>Isekai is about a down on his luck neet that has to finally take a job driving a truck to make ends meet. Accidentally falls at the wheel and runs over a group of students and kills himself in the process. Literally spawns as the demon king while the children spawn as heroes. Is vastly outnumbered, doesn't know politics or shit. Has to try and not be murdered by disgruntled school children with swords.
You can't just pick up truck driving as a backup option.
It requires following a course and earning a license.
Man is a demon trying to grant wishes for payment and does either some awful things for a lot of power or trying to collect debts of people who don't pay.
CHAOS SPACE MARINE LOLIS
So like it's reverse isekai, bunch of csm on a black crusade get sent into a cgdct/sol universe and are transformed into cute little girls. They still have all of their original personalities and memories and knowledge; but the stamina, strength, and dexterity of little girls; so they're not conquering the world anytime soon, and like their warp/psyker powers are extremely diminished so the most the former plaugemarine champion now eye-bagged sniffly little girl can do is give people short lasting colds or really itchy rashes.
They'll be really nasty naughty little girls, like delinquent lolis being mean and maipulative, and biting people and giving extremely out of place (but interpreted as chunni) speeches regarding blood for the blood god and such at school festival athletic competitions to get their teams fired up.
Ultimately they aren't really powerful to do anything really 'evil' but end up as quite popular for their odd chunni-ish antics and fairly harmless (but ultimately beneficial where they count; these lolis once again being csms with thousands of years of experience in warfare, subterfuge, manipulation etc; so their antics although always selfish and maliciously motivated have positive effects on the people directly around them who are their classmates/neighbors/teachers; e.g. disappearing the local groper because slaanesh loli got mad he didn't try grope her, khorne loli gives a terrifying and inspiring pre game speech and the team wins the inter-school championship because she didn't want to lose, tzeetch sorcerer loli really enjoys some manga, hears it's ending, sets up the mangaka with the christmas cake homeroom teacher so he continues writing and everyone is overjoyed for her finally getting married etc...)

Which Premier for the USSR?
The US is probably always a better bet if you don't want forced regime change for your kingdom, but the current Soviet Regime matters a lot as well. Determines if siding Russian is suicidal or not.
By RAW he has like a 1/36 chance of killing a CSM with a shovel presuming he isn't a literal blob and has a WS of 2.
Roughly the same chance of damaging a knight titan with it as well.

It is the 1950s when the two superpowers got teleport to the fantasy world, also this kingdom heard horrible stuff about both the US and USSR so the MC hasn’t realized the US is the better option, however the kingdom is more concerned about who is more likely to win if a war breaks out between the superpowers while not knowing what MAD is.
"Why Is My Isekai Adventure Just Summoning Crazy Chuuni Schoolgirls From Other Dimensions?"
An anime fanboy but otherwise normal Japanese highschool student discovers he has a strange ability when he is confronted by a magical beast from another world. He summons to his aid... a rather normal looking schoolgirl, who proceeds to speechify in a flowery, kind of crazy way before she busts out a giant dragon of black lightning to obliterate the beast. As the boy talks to her, he soon realizes she's completely nuts; an utter chuunibyou case, she never had any powers before. But now, thanks to him summoning her to his world, she has gained magic abilities matching her delusions.
Over the course of the show he summons a combat harem of deluded crazy schoolgirls who inherit magical powers thanks to being summoned by him. The final battle with the summoner of the magical beasts reveals the truth the boy is secretly from another world, it's why he's being targeted. Season 2 will feature the boy and his harem returning to his home dimension and exploring it for his real parents.
Also I don’t really know that much about Cold War USSR leaders other then Stalin.

Posted this last time, but I'd still like some feedback if possible, as I plan on writing this as a LN.
Camping MC is hit by a meteorite during a get-away-from-it-all trip after his GF dumps him. He wakes up in a much more primitive world, where mankind has only just started to use bone tools, develop proper languages and domesticate dogs in the last few thousand years or so. It's also a world where the mystical is alive and well, with spirits living in animals and lands. Magic exists, but it's less a matter of throwing fireballs and more subtle enchantments, blessings and curses; nothing that couldn't be dismissed as natural phenomena.
After helping a tribe find its feet a little, introducing them to bows, pottery, proper flint tools and so on, he dies/is killed and wakes up back in the world he left behind. For a while he wonders if it was all a really trippy dream, but then a few months later, he's back, in the body of a child this time, several generations later. It turns out one other soul from the tribe also re-incarnated too. This trend continues, with one more person coming along each time. In the gaps back in the modern world, he takes the time to study what the tribe will need, but as the cycle continues, he starts having increasingly bad pains when he's about to return to the primitive world.
As he helps the tribe build up into a civilization, he and his companions coming to be seen as divine heroes in their myths as he does so, he works out that he's gradually getting more and more tied to that world than his own and eventually will be stuck there to die a final death.
I'm of two minds about an overall theme... Either I make it a metaphor for a parent preparing their children for life without them, or I introduce some evil cult of the fallen star in the primitive world and tie his experience with the meteorite in with that so they have to be defeated, lest they figure out a way to corrupt both worlds and ensure their immortality.
Yeah I've yet to find anything where all the tropes are attempted and all fail. A true 'tragic' parody, basically.
The ending would have to be a different MC meeting him by chance one day and everything our MC already tried worked out perfectly for this other guy, and he can see the other guy already has the beginnings of a harem.
Then the MC dies and finds out there was a completely arbitrary reason why nothing he did ever mattered or worked out.
It could go in any direction from that point on.
Reverse isekai where Hero and Villain die during their battle and are now forced to live in our world as a married couple
To what ends? If a character never succeeds and never gets anywhere, isn't it just misery porn? Who wants to watch something so depressing?
>I can't believe I got reincarnated as a fluffy pancake, and now my waifu is eating me?!
Harem MC is a jerk who lies and uses girls, his harem finds out and questions him but a bus runs over them all, MC is reincarnated as a girl while his harem reincarnates as dudes.
The power of the karma makes him suffer as a cocksleeve in his second life.
There could be more focus put on characterization and world building. MC doesn't have to be overpowered to have an interesting novel. And it could be a deconstruction/satire that anyone bored of isekaishit will enjoy.
I'm not asking for an MC to be overpowered, or even just powerful. I'm just saying a character who fails at everything is as boring as a character who succeeds at everything.
A character that either fails or succeeds at everything doesn't have to be boring. Also, I should expand that he won't fail at absolutely everything, just his schemes won't go as planned. A story with zero progression would be truly boring.
Isekai, but with an older man like Kotetsu. Like he's just a construction worker or something. One day he has to save this retarded rat faced kid from getting hit by a truck and gets trucked instead.
He's too lame to get any cheat powers, so he has to rely on his wits to get by.
The main problem is that a tragedy where the main character tries but never succeeds makes no sense. True, there are those miserable people in history, but they inherently don't make for interesting tales. At the very least, they must believe themselves to be succeeding. Nobody has the sort of mental fortitude to continue after infinite failure that brings success further away, nor does the world generally point to one person and say, "fuck him."
ISEKAI PARK
>the greatest amusement park in all of Japan, maybe the world
>a fantasy theme with to cover the fact that all the employees are actually from another world and the park is government run to hide them in plain sight
>Every full moon they have a "fully booked special event" full of government agents to prepare to capture the new fantasy creatures that are about to fall in (because they're still not sure why but on this location they always get transported to our world on the night of a full moon
Ideas for characters
>Head of Park Security a former elven warrior who is now honored with the frustrating task of handling all the troubles this park has
>A government agent assigned to work with security. He's always battling for authority in missions with security girl, but inside their rivalry there is a love interest deal that everyone else sees (but they're both ignorant to)
>a powerful dragon who is kept in check by constantly feeding his ego with praise. He shapeshifts into what is reported to be the greatest roller coaster of all time (though he sometimes goes a bit too fast when teens try to act like the ride ain't shit)
>A succubus barmaid with a track record of seducing guests and has often been caught sucking bits of life force out of guests. Though never a serious antagonist (and quick to get out of trouble by flirting with the government agent guy)
>a constantly drinking wizard who doesn't even recall his past before coming to this world. Often go-to help for the security, but sometimes his magic just makes things worse. His mysterious past and being the first to appear often make the government wonder if he is the key to this world traveling deal
>reborn as the mind of an autonomous weapon
>can also transform into a cute girl
>That time I was reincarnated as a tenga egg
People will make every effort when the alternative is unacceptable. MC could equate the idea of working a monotonous job to death.
>True, there are those miserable people in history, but they inherently don't make for interesting tales.
Sounds like personal opinion. There are plenty of tragedy lovers out there. Also, I'm a firm believer that how you present a story is more important than the story itself.
>nor does the world generally point to one person and say, "fuck him."
look at people born in war torn third-world-shitholes
>look at people born in war torn third-world-shitholes
Those people are born unlucky but even they have their own modest successes, user.

As a common denominator, sure. But there's also people who have only experienced misfortune.
And those people are the ones that nobody cares about as a person.
Name even a single one, user.
>plenty of tragic lovers
Let's use Romeo and Juliet. It might look like there's nothing but ill fortune on every turn, but that's only in hindsight when you go "if only this one thing changed...."
To Romeo, and to Juliet, both believed their goal was inching closer to them. Most steps were successes, with some setbacks. The tragedy is that they were so very very close and the thing that caused their death was the very thing that they were trying to save. Tragedy is dynamic in nature, and inevitable in nature. A tragedy in the traditional sense is caused by the character's own personalities and flaws, and most tragedies seem to be such a close thing, often a close thing which turns a glorious tale into a sad one, which is why they're tragic.
If you have nothing but tragedy then you run into the grimdark trap. If everything is grim then people just don't give a shit.
I actually agree with you on the tragedy part. That's why I initially didn't use that word until the other user did. The story I had in mind was more of a slow progressive type where each failure gains mc an advantage.
How long of a series could you actually make out of Humpty Dumpty?
I mean Humpty Dumpty's rhyme says nothing about anything that happens before him. The great fall could be an execution, a tragic accident that cuts off greatness at its peak, or suicide when he's lost everything. You could make an epic about him.
Also check this out, you can't unlearn it
The nursery rhyme never at any point makes Humpty Dumpty an egg.
Ah good point. I was think you could go for a Groundhog Day timeloop thing, where Humpty starts over every time he breaks.
Edge humpty Dumpty's then
A failure MC could be good if he became a villain and it was a comedy.
It can only last so long and for villains it can be even worse
A villain is, after all, generally someone who BREAKS status quo. If he always ends up like a sitcom bad guy and turns into team rocket then it'll eventually get seriously boring, you have to move the plot along.
Girl from a Generic Isekai fantasy land comes to the real world.
She has to play both the fish out of water and the straight man
A failure at the start I mean becuase he thinks he is like the MC of Overlord when he is anything but.
Like everyone aroud her is a quirky anime cliche and she is a serious knight on this world
Usually, that results in death.
It's a pretty unused premise, really. The main problem is that the generic isekai land character is one of two types
1. Just a medieval sod
2. Horrendously overpowered, the entire US military is defeated in a matter of seconds
Would Stargate be considered to be a isekai?
Sci-fi only
Hero in the Poor Bloody Infantry:
usual isekai song and and dance however instead of the MC forming a small party to fight the demon king, he ends up joining the standard infantry by mistake and eventually winds up having to lead a large company if not a small battalion.
if your familiar with any Tor fantasy books (Wheel of Time, Stormlight, The Black Company, etc), you know there's usually a character who ends up doing something similar and you kinda have an idea how things play out
Though it be funny if they gated to a fantasy isekai world as the MC wondering how the hell the us military got there, be even more funny if they derail the plot by being there.
>Be MC
>Get isekaid
>First thing I do is powerlevel to being op
>Proceed to be that all powerful bystander who hangs out in the starter town trolling everyone instead of doing the standard isekai plot
You sure this isn't party/state owned communism?
I actually have this idea for a Stargate fanfic in which a 304 Battlecruiser gets transported to a fantasy universe in which spaceships use magic to travel through space and are made like medieval ships and becuase of this, the 304 ends up being the biggest threat to the evil empire.
That is boring unless a modern army from earth appears and destroys the medieval government at the end.
I sort of want a GATE style story except without techwank
It would be cool to just have the GATEs appear in all sorts of different locations around the world leading to this new world. Imagine Carthaginians fighting Chinese and Britons in another world.
>Get Isekai'ed
>Ridiculous cheat skill. Level to max and invest in all forms of OP defensive item. Go on adventure to become the ultimate warrior.
>retire and hang out in adventurers guilds.
>wait for other Isekai dudes to come into adventurer's guild with their two or more girlfreinds.
>hit on the girlfreinds with at least one Mook lieutenant behind me.
>kick the MC's ass when he tries to kill me.
>profit???
It's just pre-capitalist Europe.
What idiots always miss is that capitalist elites are actually far less deliberately exclusive than any other variety of society.
It really isn't, that's the pop culture version of it.
That said I do agree that [market] capitalism isn't deliberately exclusive. You can unironically say that any society that IS deliberately exclusive by design is actually "not real market capitalism". That's not to say that the old maxim of "need money to earn money" doesn't apply but the basic concept of a market capitalist is basically that, well, if you make it big then you made it big.
this world building and structures makes less and less sense
>executing workforce over not paying taxes
Nah, there was definitely a fairly strong level of deliberate exclusivity in the middle ages, the church was the only real way to become rich for quite a long time, at least if you weren't a jew or in very specific economic niches like a Yeoman who discovers a gold deposit on his property.
A boy and his yandere onee-san get isekai'd into a world where women are dominant, and the older sister has to fight off her little brother suitors.
That's got historical precedent dumb as it sounds.
Course you could never sustain a kingdom that way, but it still happens sometimes, normally because the nobility has extremely pressing debts.
I want this. It's reminescent of battle harems that have died off, but yet it's still a fresh concept,
and it's easy to make the girls cute and there are so many different flaws and positives you can incorperate and every character stays unique.
It's great!
I mean no I honestly disagree. The reason social mobility was low was because there really wasn't that much wealth to go around by modern standards. I don't mean in terms of gold and silver, I mean like actual capital goods. Sure, the nobles ate more meat than peasants, but at the same time meat production simply was not high enough for everyone to eat meat. Since there wasn't enough goods to go around and most people didn't have any special skills to set them apart the problem is basically, well, why should YOU be rich?
>I sort of want a GATE style story except without techwank
I actually like the techwank though, it's a change of pace from all that annoying magicwank we have seen hundreds of times. Now the thing that annoys me about GATE is the real world side of the politics.
This happens. You usually don't execute a lot of people, it's just meant to show that the collectors this time are really deadly serious about their taxes and you really should just pay up. It's an example, like putting people's heads on pikes.
Except that it wasn't only a lack of resources. There was also a deliberate effort to keep people down that only got overturned in the Elizabeathen Era in England and later elsewhere. Austria Hungary dissolved before it got over that little ideological hurdle.
Except the techwank is literally the same thing as magicwank and just as boring. There's no interesting conflicts, just wow amazing japanese very big mortar kill everything. It's boring and without purpose. Replace the word "mortar" with "grand fireball" and the word "shell" with "scroll" and "machine gun" with "magic missile" and you're just seeing a bunch of mages shitting on everyone, same damn thing. And GATE doesn't even have the decency to think its own fucking techwank through half the time, I refuse to believe a Japanese woman can go toe to toe with multiple legionaries in banded mail with a fucking dagger.
How the fuck do you figure?
Serfdom was nowhere near as widespread as you seem to think it is, unless you're not referring to serfdom. Guilds?
Austria-Hungary fell apart over manpower and war issues and a rising slavic nationalism in basically half of its territory.
MC gets transported to a Minotaur village where all of the girl's breasts have been stolen by a jealous flat witch. MC teams up with buff Brown busty girl who still has her tits because of her magical armor or whatever.
I'm not talking about serfdom, I'm talking about the establishment of the peerage and the exclusivity of power and resources which it promoted.
Not keeping people as what are basically slaves is not the same as letting them get their hands on money and power.
The politics is the least interesting thing about it.
So you're talking about just nobility in general? But keeping normalfags out of government and rulership isn't exactly the same as an organized effort to keep them down, or even particularly related, I'd say. That's like saying because the big companies can take a shit on small companies that there's an organized effort to keep smaller companies down, which would contradict your original point that capitalism doesn't have that.
If you die in the game, your cat dies in real life
Except that we have fairly concrete examples of them deliberately putting down any outsider who acquired considerable power, normally having them executed. Whereas capitalists tend to just embrace the new company and get in bed with them as fast as possible.
Capitalists tend to try to get the other company shut down as fast as possible too, generally by buyout or by out-competition, if they're in the same sphere. It's just that when it comes to the (higher) nobility, there's essentially only one sphere. Old, established families are too well-connected and well-respected to be taken out crudely, for the most part, but new arrivals always have that vulnerability of not knowing the right people.
>I refuse to believe a Japanese woman can go toe to toe with multiple legionaries in banded mail with a fucking dagger.
Legionaries would actually still lose against a modern soldier even without the tech advantages because a modern soldier has vastly better training and tactics.
GATE would of been a lot better if he was completely from the perspective of the fantasy world characters.
There are so many different ways to make GATE be even better that I wish more isekai would use the basic idea to start a new one.
what do you think about my idea in these posts
Except that that's not actually what happens normally in capitalist society. Normally they just go golfing together and coop the new company into the existing power structure. Certainly they don't target people at an individual level, and a buyout generally benefits both the old owners and stockholders presuming that they're the ones selling.
Evertime i think of something it just turns to torture/degenarate porn in like the first chapter, it feels like isekai is only good for that.
>Legionaries would actually still lose against a modern soldier even without the tech advantages because a modern soldier has vastly better training and tactics
Bullshit, and no amount of tactics is going to save you against close combat specialists in full armor. Armor was decisive for a reason user, and so is range. You don't go against people with swords and spears using a kitchen knife.
That is definitely what happens user. Literally just read about the early capitalist society where anti-trust laws weren't a thing yet. In modern society they try to cut deals and cooperate to fuck over the consumer essentially because they're not allowed to buy out the last two competitors unless they want to be broken up.
Why do all these harem wish fulfillment stories always involve the MC having daughters?
Wow so you're saying Capitalist society actively works to prevent what you're saying they do.
Huh, weird.
>Bullied boy reads a book in his school's attic: the adventures of a boy who's searching for a cure for his world's ruler, a cute young girl.
>After reading about the book boy's adventures for about 5 episodes, the reader boy realizes the adventure was merely drawing him in until he's ready to be told the book's world is real and only he can save its ruler.
>The cure is giving her a new name, and once he does so he gets isekai'd into the book's world, the cute girl ruler giving him an artifact that allows him to wield her authority in the form of wishes, all she asks of him is to create stories to nurture the world.
>He gradually becomes drunk with power, an arrogant pos who's in it only for praise, even hurting an alienating himself from the adventurer boy from the first arc who had now met him and started to become his friend. But everytime he exerts the artifact's power he loses a memory of the real world.
>He ends up with barely any memories before he realizes he's gonna end up trapped forever in the fantasy world as an empty shell of himself. He actually loses it all until the adventurer boy comes to his rescue and vouches for him before the magical portal that returns MC boy home.
Neverending Story anime never
>Imagine Carthaginians fighting Chinese and Britons in another world.
>You are now realizing isekai is old as FUCK in the literary world.
Based Harry.
Hawk among the doves is spectacularly fun.
Turtledove is based although I still can't get over his retarded ayy trilog
and the Japanese were making tentacle porn since the feudal era.
Hokusai was truly ahead of his time.
MC is reborn into a generic RPG world but the twist is that he's reborn as a horrible monster.
His mind is twisted over the reveal and he almost gives into the evil that he is now meant to carry out, but right before crossing the line he realizes that his would-be victim is a cute girl.
This causes him to remember his life-goal in his previous (loser) life, 'to win the hearts of as many hot chicks as possible'.
So instead he pledges to overcome his monster disability and get all the girls in the land to swoon over him!
He encounter many girls who at first always try to kill him but end up being saved and is left confused as to this monster's 'heroic' nature.
He is also constantly pestered by agents of the demon lord who keeps trying to get him to join them.
I call it:
>"How Hard Can It Be To Seduce Women As A Monster?"
It might've been his daughter who drew that one. We know that Hokusai's daughter was a talented artist and that Hokusai admitted he was sort of a shitter in some respects (portraits?) compared to her. All of her works have his name on it but I read a theory somewhere that pointed to stylistic inconsistencies with ones we know were by the dad.
So basically: japanese unmarried daddy's girl noblewoman cake drawing tentacle porn.
>You don't go against people with swords and spears using a kitchen knife.
That way you use a bayonet, a combat knife, a rifle, fun fact not even modern armor can save you from a bullet, because getting hit with the force of a bullet will cause internal bleeding as well. That way modern soldiers prefer to be mobile, it is better to be be hit in the first place then to be hit at all even if you are wearing armor and armor would make you slower because of weight.
>"How Hard Can It Be To Seduce Women As A Monster?"
Ah yes
What does that have to do with fighting with just a combat knife? I'm not talking about romans getting shot. I'm talking about Romans getting cut to pieces by a dagger when the girl should've rightfully gotten beheaded more or less immediately once she danced into melee with them.
>mc accidentally trips on a green marble after sneaking into a hardcore/heavy metal venue because he mixed up the address with the one where his favorite idol group is performing

That's all I got so far other than one of the characters being a Rance pastiche named El Douchey whose main trait is being a rapist laden with stds

Get your mind out of the gutter.

yeah, mind control is way better
MC (male) is reborn as a girl in a medieval fantasy setting, supposodly as a hero to save the world as MC was told by god during transition.
Reborn naked as an adult without anything in the wilderness. After playing with her body, confirming her new acquired womanhood she immediatly gets captured by criminals and sold to slavetraders. Threatened with the prospect of doing hard labor on farmlands or becoming a prostitute in a bordel, MC uses his acquired skills/knowledge from his previous life to impress the Slavetraders in hopes of getting sold as a servant to a rich family. Plan works and MC ends up as a slave in service of the royal family of the country. But there is a catch, as MCs duties not only consists of serving the royal family, but also to be part of the harem of one of the royal princes.

Would you drink the milk?
>What idiots always miss is that capitalist elites are actually far less deliberately exclusive than any other variety of society.
Nah. If you're not old money then you're not worth shit. Any idiot can get lucky and amass a fortune, but that doesn't mean they'll be accepted. A peasant in a castle is still just a peasant.
>Legionaries would actually still lose against a modern soldier even without the tech advantages because a modern soldier has vastly better training and tactics.
Potentially better training, and tactics designed around firearm warfare, if they end up in close proximity a sword will fuck them up. A modern soldier isn't meant to be a sword swinging honorable samurai.
This exists. Its called "Unparalleled Path ~ Reincarnated as the AI for a Space Battleship" on novelupdates.
MC gets reincarnated into a bizzare eldrich abomination. Due to his human mind he cant really make sense of his own actions or where his own body starts and ends or what he even is. Its all a fever dream to him.
Ala azathoth, his dreams are made reality and his choices to change the setting of the dream or intervene in it actually happen to real people. If he gets bored with a setting, he changes it and dooms that world. The story is told through alternating POVs of characters affected by him, first starting as cosmic horror as he toys with his creation and eventually turning into one worlds attempt to do something about the dreaming god without getting its attention.

Not the space ship AI user, but gonna give it a try, thanks user
>MC is reborn in Feudal Japan or the Holy Roman Empire or some other time where territorial war and meanignless bloodshed is prevalent
>he starts out in great danger because of a raid or a battlefield or whatever and manages to get saved by the order of a very kind King/daimyo/whatever who saw that the mc is not an enemy
>he befriends the leader and due to the MC's superior body, knowledge and intellect he becomes his right hand
>mc believes peace can be brought into this world full of hatred and conflict, but some kind of Hero is needed
>Mc is convinced that the leader should rule over the whole Dynasty because hes nice and all and the other leaders are evil and bad
>MC gets more and more involved in the territorial war and starts to learn more about the world and the people
>some kind of arc where he gets cut off from his friends and ends up in the enemy's main city and spends his time there undercover, befriending people and finding out more about the other faction's side of view
>MC returns, the leader he befriended is in great distress due to personal/war reasons
>leader makes some questionable decisions and Mc realizes his nice and friendly appearance is just his charismatic shell to make people like him and follow his egoistical goals (yes, like dutch)
>time goes on and mc starts to think his leader is not much different than the other leaders
>his other friends dont see it, Mc grows distant
>the plot spikes the war spikes, Mc decides to betray the leader and take over his throne
>Mc is now the great emperor
>mc is depressive he killed his friend and rules with an iron fist, but brings safe times and unites the people
>years later, people are upset they have no freedom and start a revolution, Mc gets imprisoned and later executed, the people form a democracy
>in mcs final thoughts he is glad his former goal of a peaceful world (that is not forced peace) could be achieved but he will be always remebered as the bad evil guy
Add some waifus and tropes:done
A Yakuza member from the 1960's is reincarnated with his bokken into a gullible fantasy world where he starts up his own crime syndicate but is constantly harassed by the incorruptible Paladin order that can't lay a finger on his modern practices that aren't covered by their medieval laws yet
Mc got isekaid, there's slaves in this world, he spend all his time grinding, buy some slave girls, opens a whorehouse, all girls do it because they love the mc. He keep exploration to find new and different slaves
Disgusting desu
>average Yea Forumsnon gets run over by a truck
>meets God and gets told he will get sent to another world
>Yea Forumsnon is super excited
>God asks him what kind of cheat power he wants
>he says that instead of a cheat power, he wants to be in the same world as his waifu and wants to be loved by her
>he's reborn as one of her children
unfortunately I can see that very easily devolve into edgy "morality and justice are just an ilusion" excuse for self-indulgent power tripping
Seems good, well done user!
Yakuza call themselves "chivalrous organizations" and have helped people immensely like during the last great tsunami, although you could call it a PR stunt. In any case, it all depends on the character of the MC. Business being business, he might pimp out poor women that would die otherwise but go to the greatest lengths to protect and save them.
A "zombie" apocalypse happens. Pretty generic but somewhat realistic (bacterial agent, no resurrection, can be infectd by more than a bite, but if you get treatment you have a moderate chance to survive).
A few decades into the pandemic the protagonist, raised among the pverty and corruption of one of the few remaining quarantines manages to talk his way into getting himself, his fiancee and some family cryogenically frozen until the apocalypse blows over in a secret military base.
In the millions of years that pass, evolution takes many weird routes for wildlife, survivors and even the zombies.
African and middle-eastern survivors become agile tall eared people that live in cities beneath the desert and ride oversized jerboas.
Northern european survivors become adapted to living almost perpetually on boats.
Other minor races include pygmy-like humans that have perfected isolated supercities and tundra dwelling northen people.
Scientists around the world, holes up in their bunkers eventually upload their brains to superconductors.
But the most staggering change comes to the zombies, as after the initial wave of stupid zombies dies out, the remaining ones continue to reproduce and re-evolve sapience whilst studying the texts of the "old world" becoming a race of master biological engineers.
The protagonist wakes up to rising tensions amongst all these races and must prevent a war of complete annihilation, along the way making a motley crew of random members of these races that goes through various hijinx.
this sounds like a self insert anime that tried to avoid being a self insert anime
>be boy in modern jap society
>obtain magic dice death note style
>transported to warhammer 40k world except mc has dice and can roll on his hits etc
>proceed to murderfuck chaos marines and warp daemons with insane rolls
This needs to be an actual video game
"Wherefore, O judges, be of good cheer about death, and know this of a truth - that no evil can happen to a good man, either in life or after death. He and his are not neglected by the gods; nor has my own approaching end happened by mere chance. But I see clearly that to die and be released was better for me; and therefore the oracle gave no sign. For which reason also, I am not angry with my accusers, or my condemners; they have done me no harm, although neither of them meant to do me any good; and for this I may gently blame them.
"Still I have a favor to ask of them. When my sons are grown up, I would ask you, O my friends, to punish them; and I would have you trouble them, as I have troubled you, if they seem to care about riches, or anything, more than about virtue; or if they pretend to be something when they are really nothing, - then reprove them, as I have reproved you, for not caring about that for which they ought to care, and thinking that they are something when they are really nothing. And if you do this, I and my sons will have received justice at your hands.
"The hour of departure has arrived, and we go our ways - I to die, and you to live. Which is better God only knows."

"Wake up!"
He found himself lying in a grass field, on top of something that looked like a glowing circle. A young girl with pointy ears and pink hair was standing above him, looking triumphant.
"Welcome," said the girl, "to the world of Idionel! My name is Fia and I have summoned you here as part of my plan to become the most powerful magic user in the land! Join me and you shall reap great rewards yourself!"
"You seem to be quite knowledgeable about magic," said Socrates. "Would you mind if I asked you a few questions?"
Oh god, an Isekai series where Socrates keeps posing off people and getting murdered into other worlds.
The Entire earth and everything around it that is as far as the moon gets transported into (low) solar system with fantasy worlds that have magic gates to travel from one and another and it is in a place were the planet wouldn't be effect at all, Earth decides to start sending probes out. What happens?
>been writing ideas down lately
>don't want others stealing them
>reddit spacing
>wish-fulfillment garbage
dude if you're so dissatisfied with your life you can always start shit at your local police station and get shot
>Autistic MC cant connect to the internet because he realizates his family cant afford it anymore
>his autism grows 9000 more powerful
>researchs , goes to the library and picks pieces of junk on the street to build space ship
>friends help , think he is autistic at first but realizate that it actually works
>autistics mc and 3 other build space ships and travel to different planets
>MC hears about some pirate ayy that is worth like 1000 gorillions on space shekels
>tells his friends to go hunt for him , they reject
>mc pushes situations into the path of the pirate
>pirate ayy is a woman of course
>falls in love whit mc at first sigth but has to avoid showing those feelings
>final episode he saves her life , she is about to kiss him , just for him to send her to jail and get the money
>goes back to earth cus everyone is worryed for the 4 guys
>realizates space money doents work on earth
>suffering.jpg
A guy is resurrected as the intelligence behind a magical sword, that ends up being wielded by the Hero.
He falls in love with a magical naginata.
The world that the MC is going to needs someone from outside their world to fix their problem. Because what is causing the problem isnt effected by native entities. So the two worlds collaborate in secret and pick the best person for the job. First half of the manga is showcasing the absolute bullshit that mc has to go through to even get chosen. The second is a "we aint got time for fun" dash to the problem they need to deal with. MC dies at the end, but takes care of the problem.
>MC doents have loved ones , not a single friend , just a cat
>MC Gets cursed whit a curse that curses people who he loves
>The curse changes people into monsters , making them grow horns or wings
>he can see this because of his cat being able to fly thanks to some dragon wings
>only way to broke curse is to find a true friend
>every episode is of him trying to get people to like him but eventually cursing them into monsters
>eventually everyone knows about him , cursed people bully him
>in the middle of all , some nerd appears and wishes to be cursed because he wants to be a monster
>he doents get cursed because MC doents like him enough and becomes a joke
>Poetry doesn't explicitly say shit
Imagine that.
Flcl inspiration?
It's not even really implied, I'm just pointing out how interesting it is that he's always imagined as an egg and yet nothing in the poem itself makes us imagine him as one.
Well this seems interes..
>a young boy has been turned into an incredibly powerful cheat AI and leads a small fleet to become peerless.
>powerful cheat AI
>cheat
Pass.
>powerful hero finally meets his match when unknown threat crosses over into his fantasy world
>it's fucking truck-kun suped up on powers
>rams into hero who manages to halt it with all his might but it keeps pushing
>struggle unleashes blast that fucks up entire world
>hero wakes up in regular modern day world and finds he and everyone else have no powers
This sounds fucking excellent
Sounds kind of like Shadowrun without the cyberpunk elements.
The MC was the writer of an online fantasy novel which had some popularity, but was dropped by him and has been on hiatus for ~1 year. Said story contains a good start but turns into dumpster fire near the end, as the MC tried to insert a plot twist to make the protagonist of the story become a villain for bullshit reasons, in order to make people read his story more. One day, he is reincarnated into the world of the novel - however, he cannot use magic, and has an incredibly weak constitution compared to other people in the world. With the knowledge of the events in the book, he has to fix all the flaws in his story in order to save the world, or something like that, anyway.
I also thought of another one. The protagonist is a borderline autistic Yea Forumsnon who loves his waifu to the point where he would give up his entire life span just to meet her for a day. One day, he is isekai'd to another world, and finds out that he can create the waifu with magic. The story is about his journey to create his 2d wife in another world.
How about an isekai where a mega corporation finds a portal to a fantasy world so it sends a private army to conquer resources while making business deals with the natives. the corporation is keeping the portal secret from the rest of the world.
Who's the mc? and what he has to do?
>mc gets hit by farm truck
>wakes up in world full of big chested cow girls
>milk related shenanigans and moo snu ensue
Voila
the options for MC can be:
>a executive of the corporation
>a PMC working for the corporation
>a native of the fantasy world
>one of those normal high school boy MC that got isekai to the fantasy world just before the corporation discovered the portal
>MC is reborn in not-ottoman empire, becomes a slave-solider of the Sultan

Was that God or some jackass malevolent genie?
Well it's an interesting direction for a zombie apocalypse. Though the idea of humans diverging on their evolutionary paths it's not something that would not likely happen irl, not at least in that time period, it's still pretty interesting, and after X-men, who's really going to say anything about it?
>Final days of the European campaign of WW2
>Germany is losing
>Hitler about to commit suicide in his bunker
>When the allies storm into the bunker, no bodies was found
>Hitler found himself in a new world with magic and fantasy creature
>The humanoid race simply known as the Jews controls the worlds economy and the other races are economically oppress
>having learn his past mistakes and a renewed hatred of the Jews. Hitler rallied the other races to form the Fourth Reich for another Jewish Holocaust
NEET gets hit by a truck and reincarnated in a fantasy world, but because the angel processing his soul was disgusted at his chronic masturbation habit, he comes back as an elf girl in a hentai fantasy universe. Now she must become the strongest magical warrior to avoid being raped by orcs, tentacle monsters, and lesbian monster girls. Spoilers She actually manages to keep an intact hymen for the whole series, leading to her earning the name of the Virgin Dreadnought. She still masturbates at lot though.
MC is reincarnated into a world where things work with D&D rules behind the scenes, meaning there's a dice roll for almost everything that it's invisible to anyone. However, he can see beforehand, when going towards an action that would require a dice roll, what's the result the dice will give him. So, with this ability, he can avoid doing actions that would obtain 1s, maximize what he would obtain from a 20, and would have to somehow bullshit his way out of doing something he knows that's going to fail, or bait other characters into doing things that he knows are going to end well for him. He eventually crosses paths with a girl that, when acting positively about something, improves the roll for it, though since no one sees the die except MC, she doesn't know that she can do that, and MC has to talk her into feeling confident to make her ability work. When meeting other characters, however, he realizes that under certain conditions everybody's rolls become better. The villain is a guy that can always pick the roll he's going to get, with the weakness that he can't pick the same number for two things, and until he resolves an action he has already picked a number for, he has that number blocked.
If that was your attempt at being edgy, I would like to inform you that you would not be able to cut even butter with an effort like that.
>MC is a teenage sorceress from isekai kingdom
>Is tasked to find new land/resources
>A wagon kills her and wakes up at a ComicCon
>Something something Slice of Life happens
>edgy
I just want a hitler isekai
A series of light novels has a pathethic villainess that tries to be serious, but everybody mocks as merely a fanservice shallow character. Everybody, but one user that spends every second online defending her and claiming she's best girl. One day, he wakes up in the light novel universe. The villainess, tired of being a laughingstock, summoned the only guy that likes her to help her become a more likeable character, a character that could win even being a villain. Probably would be better if she summoned an extreme hater that could point out her flaws.
Generic teen with decent life skills gets truck-kunned into a fantasy world generic yet expansive, and immediately gets noticed/dragged along by hot orc girl on world-faring misadventures that eventually become a rip-off of One Piece. MC's only extra skill is a passive universal translator. Series ends when demon god behind world conspiracy gets slammed, portal taking MC back home is set to manifest, but MC stays since they're supposed to be dead on that side. MC and orc girl decide to get married.just as they're about to say their vows, they both get carridge-channed into One Piece. Final credits theme is the 4kids rap.
Well for one we could go with one of the Mercenaries working for the mega corporation trying to survive while protecting corporate assets from the more girmdark parts of the fantasy world, a evil overlord that sees the corporation as rivals, a high schooler that got sent to the fantasy world after getting hit by a truck owned by the corporation and he now wants revenge, or all of the above and have three MCs.
So basically a version of that Devil is a part timer anime.
Already done.
Source?
>needing to ask
Why does the protagonist have a backstory like that? Based on the synopsis, it doesn't seem like his paralysis is related to the new setting. Would that experience play any part in the story?
Isn't he historically a cannon?
Or is that just a popular myth?
