Why do people think this movie is so fantastic and a perfect follow up to the series? It's visually beautiful on that front I agree, but the movie at large is just shallow fanservice wank with gratuitous boob and panty shots and a new loli character and everything. It's story is largely a mess and it basically erases any character development that actually happened in the last 3 episodes of Madoka the TV series. Homura and Madoka literally don't make any fucking sense in this film in the context of where they are at the end of the series. It's also an admitted fact that the ending of this film was not actually the original intended ending, Urobuchi wanted Homura to finally be taken away by Madoka and have both of them finally be together and their stories end, the ending was forced by the Studio to milk the franchise even more.
>From the start, the idea was “Homura becomes a witch, and the story takes place inside her barrier”. But at the time, I wanted to end the story with Madoka taking Homura away with her. So, I thought the story would end this time for real (laughs). But they were like, “No, we want the story to keep going after this” and wouldn’t give me the OK.
I just don't get why people constantly say this film is a 10/10 when it's basically the Evangelion Rebuilds of Madoka, pretty shallow fanwank and missing the point of the original.
I know redditors and basedera, but more weebs use those sites than here these days so they're more representative of the general anime fandom. People fucking LOVE Rebellion.
Shinbo had it right, he understands the characters better than Urobuchi did when he made the call to change Rebellion's ending. Rebellion challenges and destroys the ending of the TV series which is why plebs hate it and it takes a while to come around to what it's saying. Rebellion points out that Homura lost everything she had ever been working for, and she was forced to accept her failure at the end of the TV series because Madoka took her powers away. Rebellion is a story about her cognitive dissonance, and shows the resolution of that dissonance by bringing about an ending that in line with her ideal, but demonstrates that Homura's ideal and Madoka's ideal are perpetually incompatible.
>Why do people think this movie is so fantastic and a perfect follow up to the series? It's just shitposting, dude. Unless they go and actually finish the story that Rebellion is merely the start of, then the only thing about the movie that's worth a damn is Nagisa's sexy ass.
>inb4 b-but u dont ged it!!! Fuck off. If you want to discuss then give an actual argument.

I do
Studio interference isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes the studio steers the creator in a better direction. I don't advocate for studio interference but if it happens to give us something good then I'm happy with it. I think both endings would have been good, and I was expecting a happy ending like that when I first watched the movie, but the way it ends is still really good. There is a continuation happening I think, based on that gatcha game or something, but I don't think it worked out how the studio anticipated. What we got with Rebellion though was excellent and a good ending in itself though even if it is open.
Eli Ramirez
I liked the scene where Madoka pushed Homura down on a boat and fucked her
Joshua Thomas
Rebellion's ending is a good ending by itself. An ending doesn't have to be completely definitive to be good.
Rebellion's ending isn't even an ending. It's like if they ended the TV series at episode 3.

>Rebellion's ending isn't even an ending Yes it is. There's no need to go any further into what happens next. It works as an ending despite being open. It isn't even any more open than the ending of the series showing the wraiths being a thing and Homura having new powers. Rebellion's open ending is much much better than the series' though. It would have been fine if they had stopped before introducing those things at the end but as it is, Rebellion's ending is better than the one showing the wraiths and stuff.
Nicholas Flores
There's a reason the title is rebellion you retard.
>There's no need to go any further into what happens next. Just like how strictly speaking there was no need to go any further into what happened after Sayaka found she's a zombie and threw away her soul gem. Other than the fact it would have made for a shit "story" because it has no conclusion. Story starts, shit happens, roll credits in the middle of it, that's your lot. Here, story starts, shit happens, roll credits in the middle of the big plot twist, that's your lot.
I don't know what your problem with the wraiths is. It shows that Homura will continue to fight, but for a healthier purpose now that she told Madoka she has the hella gays for her.
Tyler Wood
OP is 100% correct and the best defence you retards can come up with is >y-you didn't understand it!
I don't have a problem with the wraiths, my point is that the original ending was no more conclusive than Rebellion's ending. Rebellion works fine as an ending, the way the series was going though the part you're using as an example wouldn't work as an ending. It maybe could have under the right circumstances but as it is, they're not comparable.
Justin Collins
Because it's a tour de force in terms of delivery and I don't care much about plot. >pretty shallow fanwank and missing the point of the original What do you think the purpose of Homura's black wings sprouting at the end of the series was?

Rebellion is unironically too deep for this board.

>my point is that the original ending was no more conclusive than Rebellion's ending Objectively incorrect in every possible way. The main conflict is resolved, all the plot threads reached their end, the characters finished their arcs. The only real question left is what becomes of Homura after all that, and that's not even much of a question because of the ending's hopeful tone. >they're not comparable. It's the same shit. Big plot reveal that changes everything, the characters' reactions to it setting up plot threads to be explored soon, and hardly the best place to stop because the larger plot is not only still on going but picked up too much momentum. Just like with Homura revealing she was evil and crap all along and pulling everyone into a "perfect" world that's not seamless and hasn't tricked everyone and then it slams the door into your face.
Cooper Johnson
Please, for the love of god, get medical help already. Fix your life and stop ruining these threads.
The plot of the movie was finished. The plot was about the self contained world they were in and what caused it. That was fully detailed and shattered but Homura, through talking with Madoka within the world when she was back to normal, did what she thought was best for Madoka and removed her from her responsibilities as the Law of the Cycle and put her back into a normal life. The hook at the end with the world being just a little bit away from completely collapsing due to Madoka realizing something is wrong is no different than the ending of the series showing a new threat. The only person that realizes something is wrong is Sayaka and her memories begin to fade almost immediately. The only real "hook" at the end is that the world will collapse at some point, which is a fine place to end. If you don't like Rebellion you're just asking for more chances that they'll fuck up in the continuation. And like I said, what really could they do after that? Some epic battle between Madoka and Homura or some shit? I prefer the ending to Rebellion.
Jaxon Bailey
>go on a time traveling journey to stop girl from dying >In the latest attempt, girl dies anyway but not before casting asspull magic >asspull magic doesn't affect you personally in any way >still in square one but, just replace witch with wraith This was not even close to a satisfying conclusion.

>The plot of the movie was finished. The plot was about the self contained world they were in and what caused it. And it'd be really nice if that was true, but it isn't. They introduced a whole new plot and didn't bother to finish it. It's like if at the end, the latest Precure team showed up to tell everyone about evil Goku and then the movie ended. That's not self contained nor an ending.
It's laughable that you're still pretending the TV series' ending and the Rebellion """ending""" are comparable. The TV series gave the implication that even though it's not the end of bad times, Homura will soldier on and continue Madoka's mission, so you have a semblance of an answer to the only question left by the end, even if it's still open ended. The Rebellion ending gives nothing of the sort, it's literally the latest Precure team shows up, tells everyone about evil Goku, Nagisa makes a mean face and says they'll surely win and then the movie ends. And then some retard on the internet defended that as an ending.
>b-b-but what if they fuck up They already fucked up you nonce. And nobody cares if you liked it, it's still a terrible ending that replaces the perfectly sensible closure of the TV series with the first third of a theoretical season 2.
Leo Butler
Miyamoto and the other people at Shaft are the only reason anyone cares about Madoka in the first place. The manga was adapted from the same script as the anime at the same time and it sucks so it's easy to tell this is the case

This. This is just the biggest trend I've seen amongst people who dislike Rebellion. And it's not at all surprising. While the show was airing, a number of Homura fans loved her, and thought she was the best character for all the wrong reasons. Don't get me wrong -- she's still a great character, but not because she has few to no flaws, but because she has many.

the series, as im sure the movie is, is just 12 episodes of crying and female hindsight....literally nothing happens

This. Also "Homura did nothing wrong" is a joke.
Also, goddammit, I can't find a good place to find the Rebellion movie to show a friend. He finally watched the show and is chomping at the bits to watch the movie. Being meguka is suffering.
Nathaniel Anderson
Homura was my favorite character in the anime and Rebellion made me love her even more. For all the hope and naked space hugs at the end of the anime, Homura ultimately failed in her quest. She lost the one thing she had based her entire life around, and there was no way she was just going to easily accept that.
It’s the fact that we see Homura’s obsession with Madoka taken to its logical conclusion; she doesn’t care for Madoka as a friend or lover but more like a collector towards their treasured object , a pet owner towards the caged bird, an ideal that should never become unsullied. She always had these shades of paternalism but they were hidden behind the legitimate Walpurgisnacht threat. Now that the story focuses specifically on Homura we get to see her come to terms with her obsession and fully embrace it; and the imagery corresponds with it nicely. I don’t even want a sequel series because I just imagine Homura holding the cage in her hands while Madoka and the other girls struggle, hopelessly, to get free.
TLDR: the ending fit her character.
Isaiah King
Yeah, the way I see the series + Rebellion is that really, these are all just kids that got caught up in trying to do what's "right". Madoka's just a nice teenage girl, and because of Homura's carelessness and desire to be Madoka's hero (wishing to have the power to save Madoka instead of straight up wishing for Madoka's salvation), she gets trapped.
Homura simply just traps her again, except this time under her own terms. It's far beyond "love" or chivalry at this point-- it's a psychotic possessiveness of the only person she ever felt close to. If you don't like the movie, give yourself a pat on the back and go watch another anime. The ending is perfect considering how warped Homura's vision of Madoka is.
Carter Hill
the problem is that, everyone with half a brain knows that Homu's world is damaged.
yeah, you can argue Homu was always destined to lose it like that and her change does fit her persona, but at the end, theres no way in hell anyone would even consider what we saw as an ending, even End of Evangelion, for all its purposeful ambiguity and absolute spite over the people who 'hurted' Anno's feefee's gave us a definite ending and complete resolution for our 3 characters.
leaving 'The artsiest apocalypse in anime' aside, right now, Madoka is just a mere puppet that has something to do, we need to see what is gonna actually become of her, will she embrace being a jailed bird? will she fight back? we dont know, and for homura, will she realize she did the wrong move? will she try to defend her madoka? what would happen in the event Madoka decides to be free?
as Batman forever said: 'it just raises too many questions...' something an alleged 'ending' should not do.
Grayson Clark
Well didn't the creator say that it's "no longer his project" since everyone wanted the series to be extended?
The original ending was supposed to just be the end of the series. But, hey, let's see where it goes. I actually wouldn't mind the series ending on Rebellion either. It just seems to be the consequence of Kyubey and his race fucking with things they don't really understand.
Jordan Scott
I guess this is where we disagree (I’m assuming OP). I’m cool with endings that are ambiguous and, even then, I thought the ending wrapped up everything. Sayuka and Madoka will continue to resist (unconsciously) to life in the cage but Homura will always set things back in her desired order.
Asher Morales
it's ok, im not OP, in fact, i do respect rebellion as a movie on its own, its just the ending, in comparison to the movie that is wrong, he just hates the movie overall.
i can understand people liking ambiguity, but so far, when something was promised as an ending, its supposed to be something that ties properly every single plothole, and gives every character proper resolution, be it good or bad.
Rebellion not only didnt gave us a definite ending, but it set it up as something with a conclusion in a next movie or project, something that has not happened yet, and probably never will. this is not only frustrating, but also insulting and unfair, at least for me and others who are anti-Rebellion
Ryder Richardson
>Some epic battle between Madoka and Homura or some shit? Trigger would have done it.
Yeah, but Trigger is perfect, unlike Shaft. You don't see Trigger making a Kill la Kill sequel movie that was mostly one story then switched gears to a different story at the end and didn't resolve anything.
Ryder Williams
Just blame that on the profit motive/commodification of art. Or maybe Rebellion was just a big ‘fuck you’ to obsessive fans. We will never know because I don’t think this is getting a sequel series.
Ryder Williams
while possible, as i said before: EoE was a big 'FUCK YOU' to obsessive fans, and STILL managed to give us an ending.
Rebellion ending, wasnt that, as said by shinbo before, he wanted to continue the series, but its clear nothing has happened yet...
Ryder Foster
>You don't see Trigger making a Kill la Kill sequel movie It's not fair, bros. Kill la Rebellion fucking when?
>STILL managed to give us an ending The way people are arguing in this thread I would expect them to be thinking Asuka and Shinji being on the beach to be a hook for a sequel that never happened. They have no idea what makes a good ending.
Agree; Stop worrying about canon and learn to appreciate subtext.
Brody Stewart
Rebellion does establish a status quo as an ending: Homura suppresses Madoka ever time she reaches the cusp of reclaiming her divine nature so that she lives out her human life, whereupon Homura makes a new body to stuff Madoka's soul back into, and the cycle of reincarnation proceeds forever.
I liked the truman show and the fight scene with homu and mami was cool looking.
John Wood
I disagree. Rebellion was a stellar exploration of Homura's obsession, and I enjoyed the fact that the ending can serve as both a true finale to the series or a way to create a sequel. I didn't consider it "fanwank", but it made me happy to see all the girls enjoying themselves together. It was fanservice with an actually well-executed plot purpose. And I didn't even notice any boob or pantyshots (other than Mami's Mamis with the towel). Nagisa felt tacked on though and I wish other characters would've been explored, but it's Homura's movie.
I started watching this and stopped a few minutes in, meaning to come here and ask this question. Suddenly, all the girls were alive again and fighting 'nightmares' with that second witch helping them. I thought they were supposed to be fighting 'wraiths' now. Did I miss a prior movie or season that explained how they got to this point? Just asking. I wanted to watch it all in order.

>gratuitous boob and panty shots This literally only 'happens' (i.e. there are close up shots of the chest and lower body that don't even show anything intimate) during the extended transformation sequence, which like most of the intro sequence is intended as a pastiche of the magical girl genre in contrast to the tone previously established in the series. I hate to use the honestly overblown "you don't get it" argument when I actually sort of agree with a lot of your points but on this there is an element of misunderstanding going on. That sequence, along with the following cake song and the generally more saccharine atmosphere of the first part of the film serves to hint at the setting not being the real Mitakihara through establishing a sense of 'wrongness'.
Dylan Parker

Homura is wet enough that it soaks through her layers of clothing, though she tries to pretend that she isn't Madoka is regular wet
Ethan Turner
Not that anom, but what is your problem? Yes, in original homu homu ends up fighting, and in movie she, at last, breaks and it is the story of her rebellion against the whole situation with Madoka and the world. It ends up with her succeeding, just as anime ended ip with Madoka succeeding.
user, it's a good film. It is an interesting, well-made film and it takes the character of Homura to the only place she can reasonably go after her crushing defeat at the end of the series. Homura lost, but she's still forced to pursue saving Madoka has her only ideal as she would die if she gave up. Homura going against Madoka's order and trying to capture her is the only thing that makes sense for her to do, given her motivations and limitations.
>It's also an admitted fact that the ending of this film was not actually the original intended ending Things change in production, hard decisions have to be made. Why does this bother you? And no, the ending you propose does not match the tone of Madoka and it doesn't give anyone closure. "Homura dies, Madoka suffers forever, the end" I can see why that ending was scrapped, it's not very interesting.
>when it's basically the Evangelion Rebuilds of Madoka, pretty shallow fanwank and missing the point of the original. The Rebuilds are also extremely good, precisely because they understand the point of the original better than you do.
Josiah Wilson
EoE is less of an ending to anything than episode 26

Blake Cook
None of those things are problems with the ending. It's problems with your own narrow worldview and lack of imagination.
>something an alleged 'ending' should not do. This is YOUR problem. Why the fuck should it be like that? The Ending of Rebellion can be interpreted in an infinite amount of different ways - both literal and not. And that is the beauty of it. If you went and collapsed the possibilities it would make the whole LESS for it.
Here is the ultimate truth about Rebellion, and why most people are incapable of ever understanding it: Rebellion can only ever be understood once you allow contradicting interpretations to exist at the same time and consider their interplay. Rebellion actually intentionally goes into contradicting interpretations and even presents metaphors that support all of them. The world is not black and white, and if you think in narrow views of "that was good or bad", then you just won't understand it. It's as simple as that.
Juan Garcia
>Homura and Madoka literally don't make any fucking sense in this film in the context of where they are at the end of the series. They actually do. They just don't make sense TO YOU. That's basically admitting that you didn't understand it.
Easton Stewart
>Urobuchi wanted Homura to finally be taken away by Madoka and have both of them finally be together and their stories end, the ending was forced by the Studio to milk the franchise even more. This is such a fucking "I'm wanking my own point by distorting Urobuchi's words" argument and I'm blown away by how people still use it 5 years from Rebellion.
Urobuchi had a concept in mind, and when presented with an alternative he liked it. Drafting is literally part of the writing process, it's the entire reason he was at a meeting with the other creative leads, instead of just submitting his first script and being done with it.
Also the argument of "they just wanted to leave the ending open to EXPLOIT the series" has been disproven by the franchise's actions. Nothing has been done with the main story, and Magia Record wouldn't have needed Rebellion's ending to function.
This is now finally the last straw. If you don't see what is wrong with it, then you are part of the problem
But I get it now.
Madoka was accidentally too good, it was truly too great and had a chance of reviving Western Civilization. So (((they))) decided that they had to desecrate it. (((They))) are behind MagiaReco. that's all. And we are letting it happen.
Jack Barnes
Yes, Madoka TV looks good in comparison to rebellion

To summarize it:
Homura becoming a witch was a nonsense because Madoka eliminated this rule in TV Mami vs Homura was bullshit that came out of nowhere only for the sake of sakuga because fans begged for their fight Nagisa was unnecessary and brought in only for the sake of Mami x Charlotte shippering that still makes zero sense Sayaka brought back to life without any explaination was even worse example of retconning things only for the sake of her shippering with Kyouko And the most nonsense is, obviously, Homura taking godhood from Madoka by the power of AI YO Can you name something with more plotholes? Because I can't.
Jayden Robinson
Literally, every single one of those things is explained and makes sense. You are unironically too dumb to follow a movie plot, how sad is that?
>Homura becoming a witch was a nonsense because Madoka eliminated this rule in TV QB explained how that worked exactly. Are you baiting?
>Mami vs Homura was bullshit that came out of nowhere only for the sake of sakuga Mami vs Homura beyond the actual fight sequence did a lot for the plot and character development for both. I could literally write a page about pic related alone.
>Nagisa was unnecessary and brought in only for the sake of Mami x Charlotte shipping that still makes zero sense Nagisa actually makes perfect sense once you understand the implications of the ending.
>Sayaka brought back to life without any explaination was even worse example of retconning things >brought back to life >without any explaination >retconning things Sayaka was nither brought back to live, NOR was the way she died in Episode 12 retconned, NOR was it not explained. Are you unironically too dumb to follow a movie plot, how sad is that?
>Homura taking godhood from Madoka by the power of AI YO That was not directly explained, but it makes sense once you look at the exact wording of her wish, and the change of her weapon and powers after Madoka became the LoC.
All in all, you are unironically revealing yourself to not even understand the most basic and superficial things about Rebellion. I suggest you go and rewatch it, and this time you should watch it at x1 speed.
>Homura becoming a witch was a nonsense because Madoka eliminated this rule in TV It was eliminated by Madoka coming and grabbing the girl before she gets there, if you can isolate the girl from Madoka, then clearly she can become a witch or get very close to it. >Mami vs Homura was bullshit that came out of nowhere only for the sake of sakuga because fans begged for their fight No, actually. Homura thought that Bebe was the witch who did all this, because she didn't remember Bebe as anything but that witch that kills Mami. >Nagisa was unnecessary and brought in only for the sake of Mami x Charlotte shippering that still makes zero sense Nagisa is necessary to the plot and serves to illustrate the absurdity of the dream world. >Sayaka brought back to life without any explaination was even worse example of retconning things only for the sake of her shippering with Kyouko Sayaka is dead, she was just retroactively taken by Madoka. Did you miss the implications of the ending you were sucking off? >And the most nonsense is, obviously, Homura taking godhood from Madoka by the power of AI YO How so? Witches have been demonstrated be capable of insulating and warping space. Why would Homura on the fringe of becoming a witch not have an ability similar to it? Why should the magical girls and witches only run on hope and despair, why can't another emotion be used to power them? I think you didn't even watch the TV show properly.

It also had a lot of Character development for Sayaka, Mami, and Madoka. Sayaka changed incredibly in Rebellion watch the scene where she talks with Homura after her fight with Mami for example.
For Mami watch her talking about her insecurities during the tea party scene before the fight.
For Madoka, you famously have the flower scene.

Hello Sean. Time to crash this thread. It's party time.
Implying that if somebody would wish for Madoka's salvation, Homura wouldn't be the result of this wish (Madoka's subconscious self wants the H). And ultimately Homura wants to restore and "save" Madoka before Madoka has been corrupted by the circumstances of cruel reality . So the Madoka she wants to save isn't the same Madoka which later decides to sacrifice herself... Madoka doesn't know what "she" wants... or will have wanted in a way that is true to >the one< actual personality. Only whoever enabled the wish for Homura to be her salvation could have done so.
>goes from completely aimless teen to mothering all magical girls after figuring out and attempting to solve an issue. Have you seen Episode 10? The Madoka who did that is no different from the Madoka who sacrificed herself to kill Walpurgis in timeline 1. That was before the story.
Therefore Madoka, by definition, has no character development. The only thing she has is characterization.

It would be interesting, but they're rational (yet cruel) aliens. It might only seem like a "revenge" to emotional beings, but it would just be them seeking universal balance again from their viewpoint.
Adrian Wilson
You literally have to beg people to get upset at your posts. You know you can't actually make anyone mad. So instead you spam. It's literally a cause of someone being stupid enough to think quantity over "quality" (not that your shitposts are quality by any stretch.
I'm sure you're starved for any human contact at all. Because obviously no one in real life would want anything to do with you or be anywhere near you. Kind of like how no one on Yea Forums wants you near them.
Rebellion took literally everything the original TV series was good at and did it even better. Madoka was never about what concretely happens in the story because it would suck if it was — Butcher's writing is good because of his skillful usage of literary devices, not because he's good at creating imaginative worlds or stories (he isn't particularly).
Levi Brooks
NO THEY ARE NOT FOR LEWD user
Angel Parker
Just friendly female bonding
Only contrarians disliked Rebellion. As mentioned previously, Butcher had to add more story where it was over, and respect previous characterizations. He did so pretty well.
>gets banned for openly bragging about his ban evading in this thread >gets those posts deleted >starts spamming crack images in an obsession with trying to "troll" and harass people >posts don't get touched even though he's ban evading Fucking amazing.
Please kill yourself because literally fucking no one wants you alive.
You don't even like the Madoka series. Look at how you see it has literally nothing but to tool for attacking people.
Three more posts, all by the same exact person. The same person who is obsessed with attacking people.

I bet Homura's "love" is very large

I absolutely love it when cute girls like Madoka wear attire such as untieable pants below their pure, cute and beautiful exterior. Because it shows how deep within her subconscious mind, she does want it, if passively. But she wants it without being judged for it... because you understand. And you do understand completely. There is nothing bad or unpure about this act of well-intentioned and non-carnal appreciation. By virtue of her symmetrically blushing and pure personality, letting her maintain her innocent virgin beauty at all times, as you slowly guide her always dignified god-princess self into increasingly mesmerizing situations.
And this thread really does again confirm to me that there is nothing more captivating than watching an angelic girl like Madoka blush feverishly as she is given the joy of experiencing gentle oral penetration, while simultaneously being driven to tears of bliss by intense vaginal appreciation... And maybe even more. By either multiple robots (if you don't partake yourself), girls, tentacles or other "toys"... all the while you grasp her delicate hand, call her a princess and start treasuring her ravishing body with passionate kisses all over.
But still you don't judge her for it... because you understand. And still there is nothing bad or unpure about this act of spiritual (it could not be any other way, as surely her perfect physical appearance is the manifestation of her equally immaculate soul) appreciation. What a dream... At least for me.
Lets assume that Homura decided to go with madoka after all. Couldn't the qb's just trap another dying magical girl and make them a witch instead? If that's the case, Homura really did do nothing wrong.
Four more posts by you. How can you honestly rationalize this to yourself?
Carter Nguyen
why didn't madoka use her god powers to btfo the gaycubators so they couldn't fuck with anyone anymore
Grayson Adams
Leave my post out of this faggot
Nathan Green
A.- Madoka now knows that the incubators are capable to prepare traps so she will now be on guard should they decide to try again, something i see extremely doubtful give the whole 'exploding arrow rain massacre' ultimatum she and Homu left them, also, it was Homura's connection to the memories of Madoka the catalyst that ensured the incubators plan, no other magical girl had that.
B.- Kyoko and Mami, the Top 2 megucas of Mitakihara are fully aware of the nature of the world of witches and kept all their memories of that as well of the dreamworld incident too, theres no way in hell they are just gonna go around and let the incubators even try to do anything similar to other girls.

I just want to hug her and tell her she doesn't need to give up her life for anyone
Hunter Ramirez
Madokamis omnipotence and omnipresence are linked to the meaning of her wish 'to be able to takedown every witch even before they were born, no matter how, when, or where'
Outside going around saving megucas on the verge of witchification across space and time, Madoka, as a concept, simply is not allowed to interact with the human world in any direct way.
The reason Madoka, Sayaka and Nagisa existed during the dreamworld incident is because A: its a dreamworld, outside the boundaries of reality and common sense, and B: her wish stipulated that she can be there in order to save Homura.

how big is homu?

Balance my ass. If they want a means to subvert the laws of thermodynamics, they can shoulder the burden themselves rather than trying to pass it off onto other species.

The only reason people who dislike rebellion do is because it shows the characters as they truly were in the anime instead of their head canon characters from consuming fan work and side-media
Andrew Lee
Are there any actually good fan-works or side media?

There is none because it didn't happen. It was only nominated for a nomination.

It's pretty awesome how when someone is blatantly ban evading the mod literally refuse to delete his posts.
Every single one of these posts is made by a ban evader, and someone who's trying to attack people and ruin threads. And his posts don't get touched.
Adrian Nguyen
im starting to think you and that guy are in fact the same nigga
well "Incubators" seems more like a role that a species, maybe they are part of something bigger, maybe the "engineers" will show up to fix homura's bullshit
>blatantly ban evading to spam crack images and harass people and ruin threads >the mod (troid) does nothing but obsessively ban the people who tell him to stop It's just so fucking unfair how threads have to be bad because the mod only cares about harass people he has a personal grudge with and protecting people he shares personal taste with.
You are literally the only person in the world so fucking retarded that you pretend to pretend it's not obvious you're attacking people. And it's not obvious that attacking is intention based. As long as you are trying to attack people, you are.
Xavier Gray
Every single one of these posts is made by a ban evader, and someone who's trying to attack people and ruin threads. And his posts don't get touched.
Why wouldn't I quote you? It's obvious which posts are yours. Literally only your posts are being linked.
Look at how fucking obsessively insane you are and how you refuse to stop replying just for the sake of attacking people. You're literally impossible to reason with.
>schizo You are the only person who uses this word.
Oliver Bell
who's the artist? The glowing eyes effect with a darker background always seem to look cool but it's rare to find.

Another two posts by you. And you're just autistically spamming as hard as you can so long as you're being replied to. Because you're trying to force people to accept your garbage of "durrr just ignore wut u no liek GIB ME SAFE SPACE!!!". Because you honestly think that if you spam and attack people enough they will just accept what you say.
Dylan Thompson
Explain how Homura getting fucked by Kyubey (a male) is the same as a bunch of /u/-shit, dumb cunt.
Cameron Walker
>xdd durr lol if i play obtuse maybe no one will realize im faking it! You know exactly what you're doing, retard. And so does everyone else. You're posting garbage that shits on and degrades the characters.
Jace Garcia
God you're fucking retarded, just kill yourself already.
Reminder that this is backspeak that Urobuchi was forced to deliver at career gunpoint after fans saw just how bullshit the Rebellion ending was and read the interview quoted in the OP. This is the reason he has not worked in the television anime industry since. Do not be dumb enough to fall for this corporate damage control.
But the ending is perfect. It's the most beautiful ending in all of fiction. When I saw that, I literally stood up and raised my hand into the air and saluted: "Hail Homura! Your triumph is eternal, may your world last for a thousand years! Yawohl!!! Hiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!"

This, but unironically. Weebs and nips are too entitled
Elijah White
You unironically shouted that exact phrase?
Cooper Lopez
More like the End of Evangelion of Madoka you pleb
Levi Gomez
I wasn't being ironic there, I LITERALLY shouted that exact phrase. I was thunderstruck by its glory. The neighbors even came down to look at why I was shouting like an insane person during the night. But I wasn't insane: That's an appropriate reaction to comprehending Rebellion. I pity everyone who reacted in any lesser way.
Jordan Flores
Yes, I am an unironic autismo
Andrew Bailey
Just fucking kill yourself and stop ruining literally every single thread.
You're not a fan of this series, you're not a fan of any characters in it. The only reason you are in these threads are to attack people and try to cope with your shit life.

End your life.
>XDEEE LOOK AT WUR EPIC TROLL I AM I SPAM CRACK IMAGE @ U WHEN U REPLY @ ME!!!!
Replying twice in the same minute does not make you more than one person. It only makes it obvious you're samefagging. Because this dead shitposting thread isn't going to always have two people around to reply in the same minute. You will never be even close to as smart as you think you are.
If you care so much about ban evading, why are you not taking issue with desuarchive.org/a/thread/185381196/#185405185 Literally in this thread you have posted screen shots of yourself ban evading. And after those posts got deleted you went full on melt down mode and started spamming crack as hard as you can to harass people.
Zachary Sullivan
You will never make anyone mad. You're not "triggering" anyone. You spamming images to attack people will not make them accept your mentality of "durrr ignore wut u no liek!!!!" You are a failure as a "troll" and a failure of a person.
desuarchive.org/a/thread/185381196/#185406439 >reposts the exact same image he had deleted once >doesn't get deleted again >literally spams the thread to try and harass people >never gets all his posts cleared even though he's ban evading
Oliver Murphy
The only person on the site this obsessed with trying to harass people.
Brayden Scott
And who would that be? I only see cute posters, and one insane ACK who spams shit and tags the whole thread like an idiot.
>Why do you always reply to posts multiple times But you always do that?
Robert Long
Yes. Lots of new girls and KugiRie voices one of them.
Bentley Baker
>rushing to make posts so much and so obsessed with shitposting literally forgets to even select an image >fanarts There's no such thing has "fanarts", you fucking retarded tumblr shitter. "art" is already a plural word. And you are not a fan of this series, and you spamming images to attack people is always a problem. As is you posting shipping cancer that degrades the characters.
You are the only one posting like a retard here. You can do literally nothing but attack people and spam threads.
Nope. You're the only person who acts like this. And that's not how you use a question mark, tumblr shitter.
Levi Taylor
>tags Why do you keep saying this? There is no "tagging" on this site. This isn't tumblr or reddit. You are the only person who says this. And the while thread has never been quoted. Only your posts. Which is about 60 total posts in this thread. You always trying to pretend you're everyone in the thread is just retarded and makes you stand out.

Nah, the thread's garbage, just like your life. No one will ever think the threads not shit just because you try to "upvote" it.

I love how obvious it is you are mentally crippled by actual disorders and defects in your brain. You literally refuse to accept you're not making anyone mad, because if you accept that you've constantly failed at making people mad, it's the same as admitting you've failed at everything in your life. Because the only thing you have in your life is attacking people over Yea Forums.
How does posting picture of anime girls attack you? Why do you think fictional characters can be degraded?

>durrrr if i keep asking questions that i have had naswered many timed times before that makes me look liek more dan one ppl!! i fucking epic smart trollilol
Because the mod is insane and doesn't actually care about the rules, duh?
It's always funny watching you try to spam two threads at the same time. And how it's blatantly obvious when spam slows down in one thread, it starts in the other at the exact same time. Making it obvious to everyone it's literally just you doing it.
I love how obvious it is that literally only mentally ill "people" are obsessed with "shipping".

Exactly. I cringe when people complain about fanservice and then in the same post claim the ending of Rebellion wasn't urobuchi's vision and is thus shit.
