A news article was posted today about how the director never found any more work in the mainstream anime industry after that and basically had a mental breakdown during the production/airing process of the series.
He's coming back now, directing some new anime shorts.

If a bad anime killed VA's careers then we'd have like tops only 4 Jap VA's left by now. There has to be another reason she stopped doing anime outside of it being shit.
