Once you finish watching HxH, you realized that nothing else will ever reach its greatness.

For better fights watch Nardo but filter out the fillers. Basically anything after the Pein arc is filler.
For better lore, more consistant worldbuilding, unique artstyle, likeable awesome characters and well executed hero's self-improvement journey go see One Piece.
There's also Ruroni Kenshin that has awesome characters, art direction and a nostalgic feel to the animation because of manual drawings. It's also considered a genre classic so there's that.
Everythin said about Ruroni Kenahin could be said about YuYu Hakusho but on top of that it goes crazy with designs and shounen battle systems.
Then there's original Dragon Ball that's cute as fuck in it's naivety and shounenism(made up word) has some great art and meaty fights.
Overall moral of the story is don't cling to having one size fits all standard of judgment cause you'll miss out on most of the good stuff.
