The biggest miss for me in this entire show till this day was not having an OP as shit fighter-type character Preferably female who unlike anybody else, just wanted to fight the strongest foe they could find Goku-style while also being bffs with their creator because they literally dont give a shit about anything else. Why should they? They're canonically poorly written and live by the cliche of fighting against the strongest as being is the only thing that matters.
Imagine them being a lot more than what Altair predicted, resulting in that character not caring about anything else but kicking Altair's specific ass while having a fucking blast attempting to do it.
A character like that would have saved the show, it's what Magane was supposed to be like, but I guess you can say she was too smart. I wanted to see some dumb Shonen lunatic trying to punch through Altair's shield and eventually succeeding just by brute retard force.
