This fight. This goddamn fight ruined the whole part. I know it's kinda late but since Fuggot left the crew yesterday: >Stated that Fugo rarely uses PH >He also stated to be a genius with violent tendencies >One would assume that like Mista he would have all sorts of ways to fight without his stand >Perfect opportunity to establish him as the most badass character in the good guy's team. Instead we got two episodes of him being punked until fucking Moody Blues stepped in. >speaking of which. Why the hell couldn't Abba move when illuso fused him with his stand? >also >Giorno has the virus >the virus is killed by sunlight >Perfect opportunity to show he is the true successor of Jonathan and make hamon relevant again by having him overdrive the shit out of it Instead we got MuH SnAkE sErUm
Araki made his main crew hate drugs because he obviously took a lot of them when he wrote this part.
Because brick snakes are so much better. especially later when giorno says that he cant use his ability if the enviroment is unlivable
Matthew Perry
hammon is a lost art. deal with it.
Carter Gomez
>>Because brick snakes are so much better Yes, actually, they are better than re-using hammon again. >he cant use his ability if the enviroment is unlivable Good thing it was livable then.
Andrew Cruz
a shame that fugo was removed just like that purple haze introduction was shown like it was the most terrifying stand in their crew
Xavier Gomez
JoJo is trash, read SnK
Hunter King
joseph could use hamon because he was exposed to it a lot when lisa lisa was pregnant with him
Julian Robinson
Its pretty obvious that araki had no idea what to do with him, not wanting to make him a traitor and all that
Benjamin Lee
I would’ve liked to see what happens if Haze fights Notorious
Ryan Thomas
>a shame that fugo was removed just like that Except that he was a shit character.
honestly the entirety of jojo's is just wasted potential
Benjamin Hughes
Part 5 sucks, but it's not this fight. It's actually the final battle against Diavolo.
Hudson Myers
I'm so jaded by shounen that I was fully expecting Giorno to make a speech that would convince everyone to join with Bruno. When Abbacchio joined on his own accord, I was so happy. 9.5/10 part so far.
Xavier Brooks
Diavolo is literally shit tier villain. Just speedread it this morning and I only wish I didn't
Nathaniel Smith
Didnt get /10
Nicholas Phillips
>it's another thinly-veiled hamonfag cope thread yikes
Jose Carter
Well explain why was he like that? Why did he want to be the boss? Just money? Why did he kill his stepfather and torture his mother?
Easton Miller
I also thought there were a lot of things wrong with this fight. Illuso was about to kill Fugo and Abbacchio but didn't because...?
I think Araki fucked it up because Giorno was still a new guy and nobody except Bruno knew what his stand could do. Fugo could formulate a plan with Giorno (they could argue and Fugo realizes Giorno's intellect was similar to his or something, so he could suck his dick while still being Fugo)
Using Hamon to kill the virus is pretty well thought though, it fits in with the virus' weakness and hamon's healing abilities. The only thing is that it would seem really out of place (only if Giorno had a parent that was related to Messina or Loggings, since it's in Italy)
Josiah Gonzalez
>Giorno has the virus >the virus is killed by sunlight >Perfect opportunity to show he is the true successor of Jonathan and make hamon relevant again by having him overdrive the shit out of it >Instead we got MuH SnAkE sErUm
How would learning Hamon on the fly be less of an asspull that obtaining an antibody through a process that, while being questionable, is something that happens in organisms infected by viruses in nature?
Joseph at least knew what Hamon was, and also this At least having him come back only to be killed unceremoniously would be better than what we got
Hunter Rogers
>especially later when giorno says that he cant use his ability if the enviroment is unlivable That's what you need to understand Giorno getting the antibody. He willed a snake to life, in a place covered by the virus. The only way the snake could have possibly lived, was developing immunity. Producing antibodies against a virus is something that living organisms do, and while admittedly it doesn't work against every virus, it's entirely possible that Purple Haze virus could be dealt with antibodies, just like a common cold, but no organism could live long enough to produce them. Unless, someone is infusing them with life force.
I wish Araki were less of a "I write what I feel in the moment", sometimes. It works for him, somehow, but he wasted so much material.
Bentley White
I'm not really bothered by giogio not using hamon. I just thought that "the virus being killed by sunlight" was setting this up.
What did bother me was seeing fugo being rendered incapable of fighting without his pokemon which he supposedly almost never used anyway. Like, what the hell was his role in the gang? Being abusive to Narancia? Why wasn't this nigga armed?
