I think Barakamon is my favorite anime. It's just perfect in every aspect. Animation is above average, story is heartwarming, the music is good and fitting, the characters are all unique and fun, the setting is comfy and slightly nostalgic to me. God I fucking love this anime

I did read some spoilers on a Japanese site right now. Sounds like there were no conclusive romantic pairings at the end. It's not that kind of manga, after all. But sensei's bond with Naru was affirmed as the most important one in the end.

It didn't end in a dramatic way, all the amazon reviews say the chapters just felt like another day in those characters lives as usual. Which seems a bit weird to me because it really felt like the author was building up to something recently with Handa starting his school but whatever, Also Handa randomly mentioned wanting to find out about Naru's mother some day but I guess that doesn't go anywhere either?
