I remember feeling like Sympathy for the Devil was one of the weaker episodes when I first saw it. But I do feel like the paralels between it and the Real Folk Blues make it a lot better on a rewatch.

Me too, but I discovered interesting things upon the rewatch. Bebop has a lot of unexpected foreshadowing actually, especially in the main writer's episodes.
