Is one piece worth binge watching? I've watched naruto and just finished bleach

Not him, but yeah, absolutely. Just remembering the feeling of not being able to stop watching episode after episode, skipping all OPs and EDs simply because you're that restless to get back to it. I'd want all the episodes of something like that I can get.

Im currently reading the manga and Im like 100 chapters into it and so far it´s pure fun. so I expect the upcoming arcs to be better.

Most of pre-ts is quite watchable, even the filler is comfy.
But you should probably stick with the manga around sabaody/amazon lily

Before you get to time skip(about ep 500) watch it normally, it's very comfy and has soul. After time skip go to One Pace and watch it there. Thats because from that point toei is going full corporate and basically making two episodes out of each chapter of the manga which makes the pacing exceptionally bad seeing as the story progresses four times slower then it should. One Pace fixes that through montage and speeding up some shots in a mostly seemless way. You can sometimes hear some audio cut off but trust me, you'd rather turn a blind eye then go through the painful slog that is the post-TS One Piece anime.

Reading the manga ended up ruining the experience for me.I mean you could always skip.It's a different feeling experiencing the story with color and sound the first time.Reading the manga felt boring and tame for me.I would just read spoilers and be done with it if I really wanted to know.

I once rewatched the first 400 episodes of One Piece back when the anime was still at the whitebeard war arc. (So not much further than 400) I did it during summer vacation in like 4 weeks. It was hugely enjoyable throughout! If you have a thing for some nice adventure in a fantasy world One Piece is the best you'll find.

After watching the anime I'd also recommend you to read the manga, which I did just a few years ago (also just until the sabaody archipelago arc). It's a different experience from the anime. No idea which one I enjoy more, it's both really good.

Can't say anything about after the timeskip though since I haven't watched or read any One Piece in ages. Don't even really know what's going on in the story currently.

Gintama is the only Shounen worth watching.
But if you haven't watched the other popular ones you miss a shitload of references.
So the only reason to watch them is so you can better enjoy Gintama.

Manga only fags are just as pathetic. Shonens are better portrayed in anime anyways. You can sell all the cool action with colored effects. For example the latest fight with katakuri.

Absolutely. One piece is a bit boring for a couple of shitty short early arcs, but they are over fast, and then you get a couple of okay arcs. Then you get an amazing arc and the show is nonstop great until around the timeskip.

The animation ranges from fine to great all the way until enies lobby, which is the last arc you may want to consider switching to manga. The anime is fine until then though.

Most Shounen Jump manga have completely butchered anime adaptations thanks to the quality control of Toei Animation and Studio Pierrot and this is coming from someone that prefer anime to manga, One Piece is not worth watching animated

I've read Naruto and Bleach, and only caught up to One Piece 2 days ago. One Piece is pretty fun, the protagonist and the cast of characters are likeable. Reading the SBS (Basically a question corner in the manga) was loads of fun, and really shows you that the author is having fun drawing the manga.

The beginning, sure. If you can stomach some drawn out fights and a little too many flashbacks you'll have fun for a few hundret episodes. Don't skip the condriano fillers right after skypia.

The good timed comedic shitty animation of One piece is mostly equal to the good timed comedic paneling. The actions scenes are hit and miss.

One piece is a lot better read, even if you normally prefer watching series (I almost always prefer watching, but I went with teh manga for One piece). The difference in quality between manga and anime is huge.

Watch Gintama instead. 1/3 the length, double the actual content per episode despite being mostly a joke.
