Awards are fundamentally meaningless but even if If they weren’t I still wouldn’t care as just because something is “bad” it doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it. Imagine being the fucking inbred who lets their taste get dictated by what the community thinks is good.

Not "everything" is subjective sure, but when it comes to art and especially when it comes to "Favorites" Objectivity means little. You can criticize any piece of media and find flaws, and you can be right in calling out its flaws, but if I find those flaws to be irrelevant and not detrimental to my enjoyment of the show, or even find those flaws endearing and somehow meaningful then how can you say your critic or view of the show is better than mine? You can say you are "technically" correct but this isn't science being technically correct means little. And of course you can't make any assessments beyond the technical, once I experienced something the impact it has left on me will be hard to change.
Finally if objectivity was to be true why dont we all love the same things, since we know it for sure to be the best, the same way we know for sure that 1 plus 1 equals 2?
