Yep, the author had some desease so he entered in a Hiatus, a few years ago he came back, but translations are slow as fuck.
I remember reading that the manga is on it's 18th volume, while translations still on 16th.
In the last month update they were recruiting translations, maybe now things will up the pace.
I watched the anime for the first time on MTV like... 10 years ago?

Manga is good overall, but you have to pay attention because sometimes you can get lost on the lore.
It's also strange how the anime basically jumped tons of stuff on the manga and some scenes are different than the ones from manga.
Like when Kanta kills the mechanic, in anime he was presumably dead, while on manga he was still alive and he has a trust issues with Kosuna

I'm still following Moon-led Journey Across Another World but god damn the slow updates plus the story moving at a snails pace really irk me. My only solace is that it's fairly similar to slime iseki until slime decided to fuck off from the village to be with the brats.

They actually are pretty similar now that I think about it, slimes more of a light hearted story though while tsuki ga michi is more like a tale of the unhappy merchant. Its one of the few manga I enjoyed enough that I picked up and stuck with the LN source.
