Yakusoku no Neverland

What do you like better, the manga or the anime?

neither

Manga. Anime quickly reveals itself to be a shitty adaptation besides the first episode.

Manga but only till chapter 40 or so. After that is garbage.

>watching anime

Manga, anime has shit direction.
Recent chapters have been good imo. And Goldy Pond arc was just average, not terrible.

Manga. I find the anime doesn't handle the tension as well as the manga does.

Episode five was pretty good too but I agree.

the anime as the manga is racist

Both are timeless masterpieces.

>Episode five was pretty good
You mean the episode with the full-on minute of cut backs between Norman and Ray making facial expressions without any monologue?

Mama looks hot as fuck in the anime while she looks disgraceful in the manga.

The only people who would say anime are the ones who haven't read the manga.

>anime direction is shit
>manga art is shit

i agree but you sound fresh off the boat from reddit.

>manga art is shit
The fuck are you talking about? For a weekly manga, it's great and so is the panelling.

I've only seen one episode so far but I guess my vote will be for the manga.

Depends on the reader. I'm a fan of unusual 'unclean' art, so I love it.

How do you stop this Chad?

Made a separate thread for discussing chapter 125 here , dunno if there's enough people interested to keep it going, but it seems like a good idea to keep animeonly/manga discussion separate. OPs about the anime tend to attract dumb secondaries.

Would you let her break your leg if it meant she would give you huggies, bandage it and call you a good boy afterwards?

Anyone else think Emma looks like a dude?

How far ahead of the anime is the manga currently?

Anime is on chapter 25, manga is on chapter 125

both suck

Why don't they just gang up and kill mother?

Oh, well fuck it I'll just read the manga then. This won't get a second season anyway.

And then one? You think there aren't other security measures?

Was it ever mentioned what happend to the Tifari that the demons were so hyped up about? Did they end up eating Mama? Was grandmother punished?

Knock her out and tie her up right after she made her radio broadcast, then you have all night to escape and they wouldnt even notice until the next day.

Then it'd be really easy to sneak everyone out, since they'd have a lot of time. Their current plan is a shitshow.

The adaptation is AOTS, also has OP of the season. Have not read the manga and never will.

>This won't get a second season anyway.
It's one of WSJ's most popular mangas, of course it will. It'll just be shit.

>shitty adaption of pretty good, but not amazing manga is AOTS in a season with Mob, Kaguya and Dororo
Amazingly shitty taste user.

>Mob, Kaguya and Dororo
reddit is that way

Is liking well directed anime reddit?
What else even is there? It's mostly just shit adaptions of superior source material.

Manga.

I do think the anime takes some interesting directions. Animation, music, all good.

But it doesn't play into the strategic mind games nearly as hard without internal monologues, which is probably the biggest change, without them you ironically don't get an impression that they're as smart as we're lead to believe.
A lot of characters end up feeling on dimensional because of it too.

Giving Krone a doll to allow her to speak her mind was really cool in that sense.
Seeing her try and fight back was kinda eh.

I guess there isn't much different other than that. It's a big one though.

The music direction in the anime is absolutely horrendous.

Anime doesn't handle the tension of anything from the manga.
