Fuzors was pretty bad, I think its pretty much agreed upon by everyone that it was the worse in the series. Genesis was pretty forgettable and most of the zoids look like crap, well I don't wanna say crap but they were definitely "different" than previous seasons. Only thing rememberable about Genesis was the massive amount of doujins it spawned.
Then there's Zoids Wild that came out last year, its so bad I don't think anyone bothered to finish subbing it.

I really don't understand what goes through some of the producers heads when it comes to these shows after season 1. Generally the first season actually had some form of plot and then the later seasons feel even more generic. Yu-gi-oh also suffered this fate as did Digimon. I'm sure many other shows aimed at kids too

I remember getting curious about what had been censored in the English version and going through each episode finding the differences.
From what I remember, there were normal edits you could kind of understand since it was shown to a child audience (Removing sexual scenes and the like), but then there were completely bizarre edits like removing scenes where a gun barrel was pointed towards the viewer (i.e. at the camera). They also went to impressive lengths to edit out as much blood as possible.
American censorship logic is weird.

Quite good considering that was more than a decade ago already and it's better than some of the shit we have nowadays, and they are keen on proper application of lighting to blend the 3d models well with the 2d effects and background.
Simple action/speed lines and well timed camera shaking goes a long way telling how massive and heavy these metal beasts are.
