something something Shinohayu and Toki in March 25 - I suppose three new volumes?
points with Teru on top, and Kouko SCREAMING IN THE MIC
not sure if all panels are new or old
suddenly Hajime butt
Toki taking a nap before returning to her cage...
Arakawa Kei
and her sidekicks
Satoha
A FUCKING RODENT
we didn't yet get the new Toki chapter
Kuro
Satoha makes a move
she's not doing a Megan, I suppose
Yuuki channeling Subara
>subara daze
flashback or old panel?
oh fuck
surprised Kuro
you know what the date means, right?
Time to polish our waiting skills.
Ritz is taking a two month break, I suppose to edit Volume 19 and create the art for the release.
last pic for now
oh well, it seems that baidu had the whole chapter.
Yuuki stopped teru time and made Subara wet.
Kuro is the last dealer, and must pay the dealer penalty for a closed chinitsu ittsuu pinfu iipeikou tsumo from Satoha. Should be 11 han, sanbaiman, or did I miss something? And with that, Kuro is in last place.
Break time for the players until the second hanchan, and break time for us.
See you in May.
Why are they naked?
I'm wet.
>May.
Ritz broke her hand fingering her assistants again?
needs to tone Hajime's ass.
RIP tanoshii
Hamsters don't wear clothes.
RIP indeed.
Too much time in the napping room alone.
hamster intensifies
YG is published on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, so when a month has 5 Fridays (like March), it must be tempting to skip that 3rd Friday issue and get a month long vacation.
We're lucky Ritz is doing the 5/17 issue, since May also has 5 Fridays.
yay she's back!
Scorecard after chapter 201 / end 1st hanchan:
Shiraitodai = 156500
Kiyosumi = 119100
Rinkai = 62500
Achiga = 61900
Saki is about mahjong.
Yeah, triple release day/.
fug when is the next Saki season going to be, it's been 5 years already since Zenkoku-hen.
Are they going to adapt an anime until the 5th place matches, or are they just waiting for the finals to end?
Because at the rate the first match is going, it's going to take a long ass while for it to end.
It's amazing that there have been no new anime adaptations with the huge amount of source material.
About half of the Saki manga (Ch 106 - 201) has not been animated.
Shinohayu is up to chapter 65 (10+ volumes).
Toki is up to 4 volumes (almost 5).
Biyori had a great OAV; lots of source material left.
Night tanoshii.
hamster
nopan?
The Sakiverse is all commando.
Sumimasen, didn't have time to draw their clothes due to a flu, will fix in the tank.
Saki /e/ thread survives 3 months:
boards.Yea Forums.org/e/thread/2263567
March birthdays
new ones not on the calendar:
Chihiro: 3/2
Yuzuha: 3/5
Granted the first season to second season also took 5 years, so I'm expecting a third season within this year or the next two.
The fact that they ignored all the other source materials available is odd, though. Hopefully when they do an anime they do adapt all the things available within a considerable amount of time.
>I'm expecting a third season within this year or the next two

Now, Yea Forums really is too fast for tanoshii.
Damn I'm finally catching up on Akagi and the pacing there makes Saki look fucking breakneck
Good thing Akagi is a finished story
>Ritz is taking a two month break
Meanwhile, Igarashi has continued to deliver for the 65th month running (~=5 years holy shit has it been that long).
Why is Ritz such a hack?
Igarashi knows how to keep Ritz busy
>whole chapter
5 pages are missing (113-117) including eg blog.goo.ne.jp
Didn't Igarashi skip one BG issue? Just once?
>2018-09
FUCK
Truly a hamster series.
Yes, Chapter 61 was delayed from September to October 2018.
Don't you fucking dares to taunt Ritz to do something like this.
Indeed.
who would let his son dress like this
>2 month delay
Say it with me!
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITZ
Kuro a fucking shit.
yay pachinko
I fucking love Hajime.
Chupame la concha!
I still don't get why we don't have a new anime yet. There's no way Zenkoku S2 or Shinohayu will do any worse than whatever Gokumi puts out now.
At least the franchise isn't completely toki.
I wonder if we'll get another live action.
Achiga-hen is reairing + new pachinko gives me hope that a new season is coming soon.
I'm just clinging to whatever hope I can cling to, at this point.
So, since Kuro now has some fog stuff going on, do you think the achiga girls will have new power-ups?
I feel like everyone is going to have some sort of new power bullshit in Achiga and Kiyosumi, but I don't know what they're gonna do.
Can't wait.
Team Kiyosumi is powerful enough to not need powerups outside of Yuuki, which has developed and developed each match since the Nagano finals. Hisa, Nodoka, and Saki are more than strong enough against their opponents. Mako is one I'm not certain with.
Achiga, though...
Hopefully not as bullshit as Shizu's.
The weird thing with Shizuno is that she doesn't even seem to be that interested in mahjong initially but suddenly she's the strongest most monster-class giant mountain monkey thing.
But in regards to other achiggers, I wonder if they will all have the fog meme? Is it going to block people along with their normal stuff or will it do something else entirely?
B-but she spent 2 years running naked in the mountains. And mahjong has mountains. It just works?
The worst thing about Achiga really is their success despite their lack of background in playing decent mahjong.
Let's compare.
>Kiyosumi
>Saki: National class monster, able to score +/- 0 against Teru and her ex-pro mother consistently since she was like 7 or something. Against motherfucking Teru and a pro.
>Nodoka: Won the intermiddle individuals tournament while she was gimped because she wasn't even holding Etopen yet. Says a lot.
>Hisa: Also competed in intermiddle tournaments before and even gave Mihoko, a now national-class player, a hard time before her sudden departure and disqualification.
>Mako: Possibly played the most mahjong out of all the high schoolers we know, considering her family runs a mahjong pub basically.
>Yuuki: The most inexperienced out of all them and the material definitely knows it, but the show gives her proper time to develop her skills.
vs
>Achiga
>Shizuno and Kuro: Played mahjong casually as kids under the supervision of a pro, which doesn't really mean much since they still only played casually.
>Yuu: Literally don't know anything about her outside of that she's played mahjong with her sister.
>Ako: The only one that's played in tournaments with some success, and should really be considered their ace.
>Arata: Kind of the same with Mako with her playing against older people during her childhood, but likely not as much.
Only Arata and Ako has proper background to be developed as amazing players, even then they're nowhere near as successful as Kiyosumi is.
fuggin bullshit
You forgot:
>Kiyosumi
>has no coach and just on paper club supervisors that leave everything to Hisa
>started training for interhigh when Saki joined the club, barely in time before the preliminaries
>Achiga
>has a proper coach and former pro that started playing competitively in elementary school
>started preparing for interhigh one year before the tournament, more than half a year under supervision of said pro
Hisa had luck that she was a friend of Fujita and that the other finalists of the Nagano qualifiers became friends.
Hisa's one of the smartest characters in the show, though. Her being able to unlock the potential of her teammates is shown to a respectable degree. FunaQ's basically doing the same thing to Senriyama, we barely see their coach say anything.
I don't think we exactly know the exact timespan between the start of the show until the Nationals.
And as I said, unlike Achiga, we were actually shown how Kiyosumi trained for it so it feels more believable. We were shown someone like Yuuki who has very little experience playing high-level mahjong had the most problems going into the nationals, and even she doubted that she's up for it herself.
All Achiga has is flashbacks that appear when its relevant to when they were being coached, during the actual match, and suddenly they can do shit.
Not to mention it barely matters when Kiyosumi has 2 very successful intermiddle competitors, a super-prodigy, and a very experienced player. A line up like that doesn't need that much time to grow powerful.
Hisa's bad waits granting her massive luck is a large part of her character.
Nobody calls asspull on an inter middle champion going to a school with barely a mahjong club.
We already know since the first few episodes that Nodoka's mainly an online player, though.
Achiga literally didn't have a mahjong club. Her school after Achiga barely had a mahjong club, too.
It's also established that Nodoka often transfers schools because of her parents' work. She likely doesn't even have much of a choice.
Why is Ryuuka so shit? She ruined the whole everything.
Fucking Bundou is the best Kazekoshi has as a first year, why didn't they scout Yuki or Nodoka?
Bundou got from last ranking to 5th ranking in her school. That's probably in a short period of time considering she's a first year. She probably got that place in a whim.
Yuki is a literal who before the Nagano qualifiers.
And that's why I mentioned Nodoka's past schools and her online play, considering her past schools she likely doesn't care for how strong the school's are.
Either that, or her parents chose for her.
We barely hear of people getting scouted anyway outside of Rinkai.
>At least the franchise isn't completely toki.
I thought a pachinko release always signified the total death of a franchise?
