Did you even watch the anime? Most of the guys didn't even seem to really like her on a romantic level, except Tamaki and one of the twins. The rest were just friends with her but they didn't see her in that way. Really the anime is suppose to focus on Tamaki's relationship with Haruhi, plus I'm prety sure at the end of the manga Tamaki and Haruhi end up living together in an apartment. Not to mention Haruhi admits that she loves Tamaki.

Well, it's not like there was much competition for her. I know you probably think it's some kind of reverse harem but it's not. As I said there is really only one MAIN love interest for Haruhi. The only competition Tamaki had was one of the twins, but it was fairly obvious early on in the series that the anime would focus on Tamaki and Haruhi's relationship with each other. There never really was any competition for the MC to begin with.
