Fuck off, the first 4 episodes of shield hero were one of the best renditions of isekai I've ever seen. It's only been downhill from there though, this most recent episode was particularly shit and lost all the original charm.

It's like Onsen or Beach episodes, maybe there was a time when you saw them and hated with all your heart, this endless repetition, across different genres, almost nothing was ever safe, even some super edgy and obscure seinem shit and then... you kinda start welcoming those episodes, the antics, the boys trying to steal a peek over the obligatory shared bath fence, this is the life, and you rejoice between the cracks of either god rays or long hair censoring. You just start accepting and even enjoying a couple of things, even if started isekai just for the worldbuilding or some other passing peculiar feature that might have just slightly picked your interest. After a while, this very offers us an constant reminder and a perfect analogy. you can never leave isekai shit. Somehow it gets entrenched in our souls and you'll always find yourself gravitating towards them when you happen to feel an itch to casually read one LN or two.

really? For me it was the opposite. I liked isekai for like the first 4 I watched. It isn't really like anything you find in western mediums s o at that point it was novel to me. That novelty is lost over time though.

After a while, you see I used to hate beach episodes. It's fucking stupid, needless, unoriginal when you think about it even for a moment.
But forget reason, now I really enjoy even the precursor episodes, maybe even more than the beach episodes themselves, when the girls go out to buy their swimsuits. There's usually plenty of healing to had in those types of episodes. And we have to think about them with our hearts, user. Think with the heart not the mind. And learn to finally love beach/onsen episodes, harems, and other reocurrences in anime, manga and LN's.
