They are honestly an unclimbable hill for most MC's. The problems are the big two; Ragyō is like a marvel/DC meta with with super strength, speed, invulnerability, hyper regeneration, as well as energy powers and massively strong mind control powers. Nui is like fighting an evil bugs bunny with a magic sword with all the reality distorting 4th wall breaking bullshit that comes with that. Both have no problem killing and are actually sadistic as well as merciless.
The Jojo's could beat them. The Strawhats could. Naruto at towards the end of his arc could easily but he was essentially a god by the end of the story. Most MC"s get absolutely btfo and slaughtered though. They were great antagonists and had a real threat to them.
