Yes, once zouken wins and gains a material form his soul will move to that body and then crest worm will have nothing in there to pilot it, meaning it can no longer give commands.

Funny enough, zouken was his biggest detriment. If he had been a bit more popular with the old guy he would've given kariya much more help especially in the mana department. Also considering the makiri speciality is restriction magic, he could've helped with adding additional constraints to berserker like the book he created for Shinji. He would've much rather seen kariya suffer than even accomplishing his own goals, which he knew could wait until sakura's generation anyways.

Literally impossible. Unless we're time traveling to the past and have him study under Zouken the whole time voluntarily and somehow convince him to keep Sakura out of it until he wins the war or dies trying. He simply doesn't have the means or ability to manage Berserker for long enough to wipe out the others as he himself can't hope to compete with almost all the other Masters on a 1v1 even assuming he can have Berserker defeat the rest. Maybe he can manage to have him surprise or outpower a few, but once Gil or Iskander enters into it that's pretty much that, and that's assuming he can have Berserker focus on anything other than Saber long enough to make it matter.

The only way he could have saved Sakura was by allying himself with others, get the cooperation of either Rider or Caster, or outright kill their masters and make a contract with them, then tell Kerry that he would help him to get rid of Gilgamesh and would renounce to the HGW if he raided the Matou house and killed Zouken while saving Sakura, all while explaining in great detail how much of an evil asshole Zouken was, all while revealing who Berserker was.
Kerry would have nost likely accepted because muh justice autism, because he would have predicted that Saber would have a very hard time going against one of her knights, and because he would have known that Gilgamesh was very difficult to solo and Lancelot's NP had proven to be a hard counter.
Nothing would have fucking worked with Zouken out there.
