What are the odds of this getting a remake in this day and age?

none

0 niggas know this. But I still have the OP on my phone.

>more fuel for those SJWs
Then again, japan seems to care less about what those fucks think, so it might happen

Not the ED?

Remakes are almost always shit, why would you want one?

None. Which is not all that bad, since I don't expect a remake to be anything but shit.

Yeah, I wouldn't even want to see that Third Stage stuff these days. Vandread had a good run, a fine end and is better left off as it is. SRW however is overdue.

AXN fag reporting in. This shit was my jam.

reminder that this thing had one of the best ending of all time
and the only ending I've ever jacked off to

They did get in SRW: X-Omega. Maybe if X proves to have good sales, they'll cater more to non-Japanese tastes and finally bring Vandread to a non-mobage SRW.

I never got around to watch the ending. What happened?

I was talking about the ending song senpai
and I honestly can't even explain to you what exactly happened at the end, something something the bad guys were robots controlled by a kid that was the last biological one made by the elders of both planets/genders that needed to harvest the reproductive organs of both sides for whatever reason

Sounds contrived and stupid but fun, which was the show in a nutshell. Also yes, the ending was fantastic indeed.

I miss this show

>and I honestly can't even explain to you what exactly happened at the end, something something the bad guys were robots controlled by a kid that was the last biological one made by the elders of both planets/genders that needed to harvest the reproductive organs of both sides for whatever reason
Basically Earth was the bad guys, using the excuse of colonisation to form human body farms. And affecting the culture of each planet to specialise in specific organs. Earth obtained immortality but only by sacrificing fertility. Basically babies are no longer born because they decided all the Earthings that currently exist are the only real humans, and that every other human from other planets are just spare parts to be butlered and recycled to keep real Earthings immortal.

That young boy you see is just the representative of Earth's leadership. An old man in the body of countless dead people he killed and stitched into himself.

As an aside, strictly speaking Earth isn't being evil, Earth is just being cruel. Earth has the right to decide to use colonists for parts, it's just that the colonists have the right to resist too. And of course, to have the original leaders of the colonies being in on the plan is a bit malicious, but note that people are not going to abandon their culture just because it was introduced for malicious ends.

You can argue that Earth sees all the Colonists as just human shaped animals. The fact that there was sci-fi magical forces equivalent to deities, that split into two halves and each helped one side of the conflict, is just a way to speed up story teliing.

>the generic trash i grew up qith is noteworthy
Always an amusing thread when these idiots post thwir stupid ideas.

In the entire history of anime, how many have gotten a legitimate remake?
Chances of a Vandread remake are 0

Reminder
A sequel was planned at one point

I completely forgot this was once a thing

>A sequel was planned at one point
And all hope was dashed in the same leak that also told us Nadesico sequel is dead. No one even knew thee was even a Nadesico sequel planned, so it is just a double punch to tell us what we never knew we were not getting.

Pai check.
