I don't get it. Can Tserriednich interact with people during that 10 seconds after he opens his eyes or just dodge things? People behave as usual during this time, but what will happen if he punches someone? Is it even possible to do that, or does his fist just phase through them? If he can, does interacting with people deactivate his ability instantly regardless of whether he has time left? If his ability doesn't deactivate, do the punched people even react? But if they do react, then they wouldn't behave as usual, meaning Tserriednich's foresight was incorrect.
For example: if Tserriednich foresaw that he was shot and decided to punch the shooter in the face during that 10 seconds, if the shooter reacted, they would no longer shoot Tserriednich and focus on the punch that came out of nowhere instead. However, that means that Tserriednich would not have seen himself getting shot in the first place, and would instead see himself randomly punching a guy. The solution to this is that Tserriednich has foresight only of the real world--that he why he didn't foresee himself evading Theta's gunshot. Let's say that people react to the punches: Tserriednich would not see this reaction in his foresight because this reaction didn't happen in the real world.
Once the 10 seconds conclude, whatever happened in his parallel world overwrites whatever happened in the real world. From the perspective of the shooter: they have just shot Tserriednich, but a second later, they feel a like they've been punched in the face but didn't feel the impact, and Tserriednich is alive and hasn't been shot. The shooter recalls only what happened in the real world, but not what happened within Tserriednich's parallel world. Tserriednich, however, recalls what happened in both worlds.
>Can Tserriednich interact with people during that 10 seconds after he opens his eyes We don't know. Sparing training is next on his agenda so we'll find out.
Matthew Rogers
So wouldn't the answer to just always do what he does in his vision since the vision him is the one who already saw the vision? In essence I guess this also means he can send himself messages from ten seconds ahead of the ten seconds ahead repeat.
Caleb Sanders
What? No. If he sees himself receiving an attack in the vision, why wouldn't he change that?

Basically king crimson rip off. As expected of a hack like togashi

Jotards are mad that an actual writer made sense of the nonsense of King Crimson and created something greater.
>made sense of such an actual write that he came up with his own original material, right? Get the fuck out of here with your bullshit. Anyone can draw a fancy chart as an explanation and idiots will buy it. Happens in the real world (which we all know you have no experience with) all the time. One day, if you stop mouth breathing and get a job that has a penchant for graphs, such as business or the military, you'll see just how "informative" graphs really are. The only people who get impressed and fooled by them are self-important idiots who were handed their positions, too stupid to realize they've been played

Why is Araki coming up with more bullshit each chapter? Does he not know how to write a proper story?
Togashi's explored many different power systems throughout his mangas, spirit/demon and stands/territories in YYH. He's expanded on nen in such a way that he can make it work with practically anything. I really don't see a problem with him doing stands/territories again, Chapter Black arc was my favorite part of YYH (minus the end). I don't see why Jotards get so butthurt over it, nothing I've seen so far in this succession war arc has been as goofy as most stands are, Togashi's taken a more down to earth approach on stands / re-exploring Territories mixed with nen in this arc
nevermind Tse's king crimson thing, he still has 2 fucking nen beasts behind him and we don't really know what they do either

No, you idiot. The people are not only acting out the future Tse sees, but they also only see and sense the future that Tse sees. That was the whole point of Tse getting out of the way of Theta's gun, but Theta not reacting to him and seeing Tse die.
So going by that, if Tse punches someone, that person isn't going to react to it. If Tse ties someone up, they're going to believe they're doing whatever Tse saw them until they catch up to Tse's vision.

The people are not acting in the parallel world. They are still conscious. The only thing different is that they still see Tserriednich as they usually would. However, the real Tserriednich is walking around in a state that is sort of dislocated from reality and is invisible to them. That is why I am asking if he can even interact with them at all. You say Theta isn't reacting but what do you expect, she just isn't displaying emotions because that's her character. However, you can clearly see her reacting to the music during the parallel world in this page.
the point of this page is to foreshadow how Tserriednich will be defeated, because his vision was not able to predict that he'd experience this illusion and is surprised by it
>However, you can clearly see her reacting to the music during the parallel world in this page. It's a bit hazy if Tser's ability had timed out exactly when melody had initiated her ability, or if it was during.
Again, we know Tser is planning to spar with the other nen user in his crew so we will find out if disrupting a person under the influence of the illusion snaps them out or not.
Just speculation until we see him hit someone in the 10 seconds time frame, there might well be a condition that prevents that from happening to make the ability a little less OP
it's hilarious how there're still few people that post shitty niggastream scans
Juan Hill
No, the opponent actually sees Tse getting hit, because everyone else experiences the 10 seconds. Only the end result changes. So the opponent would see Tse getting hit and reeling back in pain, but then it would suddenly cut to Tse being fine while they are in pain.
Logan Richardson
Yeah I do get a “Euron Greyjoy” vibe from Tserriednich. Will Tserriednich become King and summon a dark Chuthulu beast?

I never thought I'd see blatant trolling as I have in this forum. Step away from the computer, drop the ham sandwich, and back the FRACK off gaijin. I hate to use that word but you've made me that serious. As hard as it may be for you to fathom, some of us here are actual fans of the Hunter x Hunter series (pre Chimera Ant) and Togashi-dono's work in general. You can try to bash me for a name I adopted because I happen to be a dedicated fan of perhaps the most poignant, painstakingly woven tapestry of love, loss, and vengeance ever to be put from pen to paper, but you would fail, like all you flamers do in real life. Who can say that the mind of Togashi-dono (note: the appropriate honorific is dono, not the laughable san or sama) was not inspired by the works of William Shakespeare or Chuck Palahniuk? Gon's Jajanken has more akin with the bastard sons of Macbeth than it does any armament or technique of the time. The shores of Greed Island remind me more of the Fight Clubs than any video game. So please, use your brains, not your sarcasm, and step up to the intellectual plate, or leave this forum and take your "haterade" with you.

Don't listen to them JoJo bro, Togashi is a big fan and true hunterchads respect Araki. Every fanbase has retards it's just natural, even we have Pitouniggers, delusional projecting faggots and the likes of it.
>you can clearly see her reacting to the music during the parallel world in this page. Because the music happens in the real world. It was "supposed" to happen. What Tse does is create a new future. The normal future is "predestined", so to say, and people are forced to act upon it, but Tse has the privilege of acting for 10 seconds while the transition occurs. Only his actions cause a difference, and the future is forced to adjust to it. This means when he punches a waiter, the waiter will think he's still carrying a tray until he suddenly finds himself on the floor with a swollen cheek.
Easton Hughes
He's saying that he should have seen the music playing and him reacting in his 10 second premonition, but he didn't. However we're not sure that it happened during the 10 seconds, maybe it happened after that. Also you have to stop with this headcanon of people being hit by him because we still don't know if it's possible and what would happen, it's just speculation until it's confirmed in the manga.
Who is going to end up fighting him? I want to say Kurapika, but I feel like Kurapika is going to end up fighting Nobunaga and I'm not sure if he'd be able to take Tse alone if that happened. I'm thinking if it is Kurapika then he'll likely get help from Melody or someone else.
I think that Tse creates a parallel world where people are still conscious in it. Everything is exactly the same except for Tse, who can roam freely and invisible. Why I think this is because it would be boring for Togashi to make these parallel people puppets because then they wouldn't react to Tse hitting them during the 10 seconds. By having reactions, Togashi can create interesting scenarios with this ability. However, yes, being puppets explains why they don't react to Tse dodging things. We'll need to wait and see until Tse actually hits someone during the 10 seconds to see whether they're just puppets mimicking the real world or actually conscious.
It's too early to say either, but I personally think they're actually conscious just for the sake of the sensibility of the ability. What is more easier to understand? >people are conscious and they react to hits, then once the 10 seconds conclude, their position and conditions in the parallel world are overwritten into the real world >people are puppets and don't react to hits, and then once the 10 seconds conclude, the real people suddenly feel pain and then react to it Because the thing that is confusing with the puppet case is that if Tse hits them and they don't react, how could they still behave as usual? For example: if Tse breaks someone's leg while they're running within the parallel world, does the puppet still run as foretold with a broken leg or do they just fall to the ground? It's easier to just say that they're conscious and will react.

>toga steals Hit's time travel mechanic can't he do anything original?

>an actual writer Chrollo and Hisoka agree to a battle to the death. Hisoka gets covered by puppet bombs from every direction except for underneath him. A news reporter claimed Hisoka died. Machi, Shalnark and Kortopi were VERY convinced died. Presumably paramedics had also checked on him. Machi begins to sew Hisoka's neck. Hisoka's Nen surges. Togashi then reminds us that Nen can become stronger after death. Hisoka's body begins twitching and compressing. It's revealed that Hisoka believed he would die and so tried to try a technique that uses CPR on his body after he has died. After Hisoka's body was done twitching, he immediately leaps from his resting position. Hisoka asked Machi if he died and she replies that he was dead with certainty. Machi tells him she'll fix him up and Hisoka declines, opting to reproduce destroyed parts (even something has complex as his hand and foot) with his techniques based on stickers, bubblegum and rubber. He's pleased with the results of this. Hisoka tells Machi he's going to kill the Spiders and spares her for that moment, although she's on his list of targets. (This is during his revelation that he should get serious.) Then Kortopi and Shalnark are killed off for good, instead of either Chrollo and Hisoka.
Meaning, >Togashi couldn't kill off his pet characters >He couldn't deliver on killing off one of these two characters for good after telling the readers in his shitty-ly drawn manga >He wrote that Hisoka gets to resurrect his dead body with his rubber/bubblegum energy simply if Hisoka expects to die >He wrote that, not only does Hisoka get to resurrect himself, Hisoka gets to raise his TotallyNotA!powerlevel for it and continue on as normal
Tse is the Chinese bootleg equivalent of King Crimson

watch the current season of jojo, there's a stand with literally the exact same power in a recent episode
Josiah Lewis
Read it to the latest chapter again, and jesus the current arc is a complete mess. Needless explaining is everywhere. The abilities are also starting to become ludicrous. What appealed to me about the Nen power system was that all abilities in essence were fairly simple. Where does some extraordinarily convoluted form of future sight fit in? Specialist class was just a freecard for Togashi to write whatever shit he wants. He also needs to stick to only key points and important things and make us, the reader, realize that through short and simple bits of dialogue and visuals (gesture, expression and action.) Not through 10 paragraphs of what character no. 486 taking a shit could possibly mean. If anyone is wanting to actually continue with HxH, do it when an anime sequel comes out or something, because at least then the people at the studios will start to cut out all the irrelevant shit. And also when does Gon come back?
>JoJo Needs no direct chart, the fight showcases the entire ability in a straightforward way even with Epitaph being vague but further expanded in later, instilling first hand confusion and terror upon realizing its ability. Araki capitalizes on reader involvement and makes it an innovative and intuative learning experience with the ability regardless of how complex it is. The only thing that was left vague to SPEEDREADERS was recently cleared up in the anime and it was exactly what the OP of this thread is confused about. >HxH The entire ability is flat out stated, even less complex than king crimson and people STILL don't get it because when it comes to abilities like this, you can end up with more questions than answers, adding to further confusion when you don't actually see the ability in motion. HxH fans are robbed by not experiencing it blind and going through the mental puzzle and confusion of trying to piece it together, as well as the rewarding feeling of finally being able to grasp just how terrifying of an ability it is while seeing its limitations.
Josiah Robinson
>And also when does Gon come back? When Killua asks Gon to come with him to the Dark Continent so that he can learn more about his "sister"

I'm personally a big fan of both JoJo and HxH but it's pretty lame to see so many HxH onlies genuinely being so far up their ass that they think this blatant ripoff of one of the most unique powers in Japanese media isn't butchering the power directly. What made king crimson work was not just seeing how it worked intuatively but also specifically how it was all heavily symbolic and the ultimate form of "fate" control, something that had been foreshadowed through chapter one and is constantly brought to the surface through dialogue and visuals. The chains of fate, Diavolo's hyper obsession and break from reality, the concept of defying death and even using your soul to animate your body post death are all to create the ultimate weakness, in a moment where epitaph isnt able to predict the linear flow of the reality that should exist. The ability is perfect except for the flaw that epitaph's fate can be rendered unpredictable if it splits too far from what was supposed to be the main timeline's flow of fate. I dont know how HxH is going to make this not a mess since I havent seen any weaknesses for this being foreshadowed.
Alexander Brown
>the current arc is a complete mess Hope this image helps you
HxH doesn't do the best with symbolism or subtlety, I highly doubt that togashi is going to make it stand out since all he's done so far is just take the power and make it wordy.
Elijah Brooks
The abilities of Tse and Diavolo aren't the same. They both can see the future and confuse opponents and are focused on avoiding attacks, but the similarities beyond that are superficial. Tse sees the future, and when he sees something not working out, he can change his actions within his own power while everyone else acts out their original plan and sees Tse doing what he originally planned to do (which didn't work out). To everyone else, Tse seems to teleport. Meanwhile, Diavolo can see the future, and when he sees something bad, he can erase it. It doesn't matter if it's in his own power as a human to avoid that thing or not. He's effectively an invincible ghost in the erased time. In addition, Diavolo can move to a different location than he originally intended. Instead of remembering what originally happened, people remember nothing. To everyone else, everything seems to teleport, including themselves.
With Tse's IQ we're about to see him close his eyes within the vision to pile visions on top of visions. Unfortunately he will get so deep into visions (post-voyage) that he will see higher IQ Gyro whose nen is so incredible it will crush Tse through all the vision and make his mind collapse right there on the ship. P.S. Benjamin is Gyro's pawn.
