Mob Psycho 100

I like it and I was a big fan of the manga but watching the Mogami arc animated made me realize I don't care that much about coming-of-age stories anymore. Reigen's arc was pretty cool though.

Reigen's mini-arc is a real stand-out to me, one of my favorite moments from the show.
ONE has a superhuman knack for addressing flaws/changes in every one of his characters in precisely the right way. How does he do it?

Mob found his house burning down and his parents charred corpses in his room. This is after he managed to complete the marathon he trained hard to complete and his family was planning to celebrate. Fucking Crow Arc.

So how are they going to pull off the broccoli explosion in the anime? It worked in the manga because everything is black/white/grey but they can't do that in the anime because broccoli is green unless they use some serious color filter art effect.

Again sales are not a sign of quality. It's a sign of mass appeal. You would have to ask people how rate it.
And again, Mob is a classic in the making, probably one of the last of this decade.

Sales are one of the indicators that a series is well approved and appreciated in the industry. OPM was doing very good at first because of Madhouse, but all the hype died out because it became stale and repetitive, people got tired of it, so now its getting adapted by some shitty studio and the manga is rarely releasing and the sales are really low.
Mob isn't even published in a manga magazine, so nobody will ever take it seriously. Its only thanks to Bones and the early success of OPM if it got adapted, but the public isn't liking it as you can see from the BD/DVD sales. About it being a classic, I assume you've only watched the anime. Go read the web comic and see how shit and generic it is.
Series like Kill la Kill and Franxx had way more hype and popularity than Mob and they are forgotten now.
