show is great but flawed. its a good critique of otaku culture and its generally entertaining. arc 4 of the WN on the other hand is an actual masterpiece. has a lot of the most memorable moments in any manga/anime/LN

The anime was great but not a masterpiece, however episode 15 is the single best episode of any anime, ever. The web novel is the real masterpiece of Re Zero. I've watched more anime than videos on pornhub, and I have yet to find a better story than this one.
