zexal had way better production circumstances as well, and I don't see why someone who's left yugioh would want to come back to face potentially hellish production for 3 years again. Zexal probably less executive meddling than arc-v as well. Although vrains seems to be mostly left alone by execs (besides inclusion of speed duels) because they don't care at all at the moment.
