At no point did Saitama give the impression that "oh shit I must counter this attack or else it might be dangerous for me, personally!"

No matter how strong you get, you can never even hope to approach Saitama in power.You could wipe out galaxies with the flick of your finger, and he would still be completely beyond you. That is the point of having no limits. He is infinitely stronger than everyone else. His existence in his own story completely kills the point of powerlevels and feats, because he can, and will always be able to, kill any threat with no actual effort. No amount of hax or bullshit will ever be able to get to him.

To try and put him on the same playing field as other animes that actually use power scaling is just silly. He would always win easily because that is who he is and what he does in his own story. Limits vs a thing without limits.

Also the absolute absurd power levels are not even in japanese media but in chinese novels. Desolate Era is the Peak as far as I know in this regard.
