There's nothing wrong with having something to lure the viewers in, especially due to the fact that most viewers can't fully evaluate the quality of what they are watching.
For example ME!ME!ME! Baits people to watch it for sexy animation with deep meaning. But I could sit for hours and talk about every single frame of that beautifully made piece, yet the animation quality is almost never mentioned.
