Not necessarily axed but the magazine it was published in went under and it was one of the series that went down with it Not yet, not sure about later chapters but probably not since everyone's scared fucking shitless of Torako. It's mostly about Torako trying to fit in in a high school that's almost entirely populated by delinquents who judging by this, get more and more violent the closer they get to graduating.
Makes it a real shame it got axed. A series where Torako goes all the way through high school encountering increasingly dangerous students and situations would have been amazing

I dunno man, something about Torako unleashing her full power despite being severely wounded with a bunch of shrapnel sticking out of her to pull the train with all her classmates in it to safety makes me fall in love with her even more

I remember seeing one of the threads that happened when the raws for the later chapters were coming out.
They all live. I'm making that up, I don't remember. I was just passing through.

Except they don't. Suzume was killed as soon as the accident happened and right after pulling the train to safety Torako succumbs to her injuries and dies, feeling sad that she won't be able to finish high school with her friends but glad she was able to use her strength for something besides breaking things.

It'd be a damn shame if he just fades into obscurity since Torako is actually pretty good for such a simple series.
