FUCK YOU JAMES
AND FUCK YOU RODRIGUEZ
FUCK YOU JAMES
Are hollywood directors/writers so lacking in creativity? Can't they come up with something new?
No it doesn't fucking prove that. We got one (1) awesome adaptation and now they want to fucking ruin it all.
creativity is dead, dude
hollyjews will remake all animes now. It was predicted like 10 years ago.
The manga was absolutely brutal, did the movie have any of that, or was it toned way down
Anyone else want it to happen just to see anons get pissed off?
90% of most movies are adaptations or recreations of historical events. Some of the best and most important films ever made were based on novels.
Why do people scream OH MUH CREATIVITY when this has been part of movie making cinema since it started?
>Are anime directors/writers so lacking in creativity? Can't they come up with something new?
ftfy
Can't remember the last time we had some good original anime that didn't end up mediocre by the end
>Movie bombs
>We should do more of this
It did have that one scene where Alita kissed that mouse's boot as an apology for being too kino
No, we are not from Yea Forums or Yea Forums
It isn't bombing.
>Can't remember the last time we had some good original anime that didn't end up mediocre by the end
There's manga for that, dude.
The idea is to push certain political narrative and message to certain people who watch this kind of movie. Even if this bombs they have infinite money to make more and more of them.
>we are not from Yea Forums or Yea Forums
You are so innocent, Yea Forums occasional shitposts a show so much just to get people to hate it on here
this, it's doing really good in china
Yea Forums has been Yea Forums with anime for years.
How can one (or two if you considered Edge of Tomorrow good as well) 'successes' translate to 'MAKE MOAR NAO'? Does everyone forget all the other garbage forays into manga/anime adaptations Hollywood has bombed at or completely screwed up which far outnumbers any successes.
Not content with simply bastardizing and ruining even their own franchises (Hello Aladdin!), and other notable classics (Predator, Star Wars) they want to cross over and ruin the cultural output from other countries as well for more shekels?
Japanese live-actions are awful, but that's fine as it's their own cultural works to begin with and just plays into a fandom which appreciates such things. For the global audience they don't give a damn.
Hollywood truly is american cancer.
In china anything will be doing good.
