The Accelerator fights are generally acceptable because he's been in a shit state of mind both times, the first time he was certain that he was the strongest and nobody would ever be able to touch him, the second time he was so distraught that he couldn't think straight. Several of the characters have displayed being able to hit from more than 1 direction user. My point is that he is only alive because of his retarded plot armor. He also can't block projectiles (that aren't abilities) but every time someone throws it his way he gets hit and survive or dodges it completely. To even think that accel has to job this hard and still lose to him is amazing. Touma's ability is OP but stuck on a character that would be instantly dead if it wasn't for plot reasons.

Before Accelerator even did anything except sprout wings and babble incoherently, Touma called out to him in an angry tone, as though already ready to throw down, instead of a more curious one. I think they nailed "Touma likes violence", which will be important if they ever adapt NT18. No, I'm not trying to imply they'll get that far, but I'm not gonna imply they won't, either.

This describes it perfectly, there's no visible impact when his fist connects it ends up making the punch feel extremely weightless and clashes severely with his bounce. The way they animated him falling was also pretty poor as it was too slow in my opinion to warrant that kind of bounce. Yeah, the fight was poorly choreographed. Touma and Accel gets slapped around to no effect, there is no weight behind their punches or shaking, there are nonsensical edits like Touma just stands unaffected by a close-ranged black wing after being thrown off (not that paltry excuse of a "adaptation" of that scene from the novel--the glowy eye Touma image) and overuse of speedlines, which would have been fine if it was choreographed better or used sparingly instead of being used nearly every time Touma charges to punch. Animation was mediocre too, barring the black wings movement which I'm pretty sure was animated and moved around in AfterEffects or some 3/d animating program. (On that note they could have used this shit to make fucking Mugino's arm look actually animated instead of a glowy blob).
