villains that are a perfect foil for the MC

He's what Dio should have been.

dio being evil incarnate vs jonathan who was courage and self sacrifice incarnate was a good contrast already. its just like zepelli said when he described hamon and courage. he described hunger for power vs jonathans inherent courage. if kira and dio were swapped then neither of their MC's would be perfect matches for them.

He's probably talking about Part 3 DIO specifically

All of the JJBA villains are perfect foils, except Part 3 DIO.
Funny Valentine is probably the best example. Valentine wanted the corpses for the greater good of his country, but that was just a veil for his own selfish desires, Johnny was more honest with his selfishness, but in the end, killing Valentine and removing the corpse from from the vault would eventually end up being a greater good. It's also worth noting that while Valentine literally talked people into following him, he dies by the hands of the only one who refused to believe him Johnny also dies doing something for the sake of someone else, his family.

What separates this from any other part except 1 and 2

I was hoping it would be more than just a jojo thread tho, i like seeing stories where there are contrasting yet equally interesting characters

He sounds like Wesker if you listen close enough

I feel like this is cheating.

Kira is nowhere near as memorable as DIO (all due to part 1). Kira does have his moments but he doesn't feel overbearing until he got another one bites the dust.

Washizu honestly might be the greatest written antagonist in anime/manga

Who from what?

Ougi is an antagonist, but I wouldn't say she's a villain.
I like Ougi.

Something about this pic makes me laugh but I can't figure out what.

All style no substance

>he doesn't feel overbearing until he got another one bites the dust.
Wait, is being overbearing a good thing? Am I misunderstanding you, or do we just have different tastes?

For UBW Shirou maybe, but the Kotomine/Shirou was legit great in HF.

Washizu is the best boy.

>who it was
holy fuck how am I even supposed to read this fucking retarded image? right to left, left to right? what's with the arrow at under all the panels? fuck bleach

I think he means in a villainous sense. Going from being a threat to 'Jesus fucking christ this guy is terrifying' kind of like DIO had with za warudo being such a powerful stand.
