I think Gintoki and Hijikata at 1 and 2 are as it should be.
Don't care for Takasugi, Sougo at 4 seems expected, Katsura at 5 is good, Yamazaki at 6 is higher than I expected, but he keeps surprising me, Kagura at 7 is fine, should've been higher, Shinpachi is back in his normal spot after one boutbof #7 stardom, Tsukuyo at #9 is higher than I expected, Isaburo at #10 is good taste.
Kamui lost a lot of his popularity after his turn, Sougo's sister and the glasses shinsengumi who betrayed them are a huge surprise for me, who the fuck voted for them? Kyubei has a lot lower popularity level than I would expect, no one cares for Utsuro which is a good thing

Don't particularly care for any serious arcs that much other than Four Devas, since they all suck Gintoki's dick too much, he's too much of a maru sue in those. Comedy arcs are 10/10 though.

He doesn't even remember that this used to be a comedy manga, he's not doing anything clever, his editors simply gave him too much rope and he's hanging us all with it. Best case scenario, he's such a weak and cowardly man that he thinks if he ever stops writing Gintama he will never make it in life again and all the people who are employed through adaptions of his work will hate him (despite the fact nobody wants to adapt this new shit anyway). Worst case scenario, he just really doesn't know how to end this horrible Utsuro storyline that ruined the manga in the first place and all these final years have been stalling.

As much as I like the series, I really want it to be over.

Fixing Utsuro's arc is pretty easy, he just needs to admit he wrote himself in a corner and make Gintoki just have a final battle and for once win, plot holes are not going to be a problem once all the readers can breath after this. But the manga reached a point where the editor should be shouting him orders instead of trying to convince the editorial chief to keep going.

If he keeps making comedy chapters that are funny then I woudn't mind another arc or two. Too much serious or harem shit nowadays that comedy seems almost refreshing.

These last 2 chapters have been very repetitive, I honestly had something entirely different in mind for them but oh well, they aren't bad, is just that they are nothing new, I just want it to end already so we can have a few SoL moments before everything ends, the conclusion is looking good anyways.

He needs a proper conclusion to the Utsuro issue which includes saving Shouyou/Utsuro, and the ones saving him being his disciples. He also needs a conclusion to the Tendoshu issue that is way too related to the Utsuro one, this whole fight it is necessary but I personally think the Gorilla isn't handling these extra chapters very well, there hasn't been any "moment" to it yet unlike the entire Silver Soul Arc which is full of these "moments", this entire time skip arc should had stayed on the comedic side even on the serious moments, I mean, it started that way, even with the Tendoshu pursuing everyone the entire thing was still comedy focused which was magnificent but these last 2 chapters totally lost that atmosphere which is my only complain so far.

Gintoki should just trip and fall on his ass and start an isekai arc or something. Then a sibling team competition arc. Fuck I want a real god damned comedy arc. I don't care if it's ending or not but it really should have on a comedic note.

Bandai made it a 1:1 representation of the manga. Sorachi was a retard to lash out at Sunrise . They gave up making long running Gintama which always suited it more.

This chapter has the most plot development among the Giga chapters.
Sadaharu is back. Madao joins the scene with Hata. Touching moment between the Yorozuya.
There's a joke which cannot be properly understood without translation.
Side characters appear to be fighting. Zura faces Hitsugi for the heart who will be getting his story wrapped up. Utsuro revives and will be fighting(?) Taka until Gin & co get to them.
2 more Giga chapters would have done the job but its late. The first one had DB parody and the second one had useless action filler. This one seems the best one.
I admit that Silver soul arc has lows but it's still good. The reception would have been different if Gintama had been a battle shonen from the get-go. Gorilla delaying the ending has been annoying but it's better than a rushed one.

He easily could have ended the whole plot back in the pre-timeskip. I don't get why Utsuro needs to be redeemed and couldn't be erased as a tragic figure.

The timeskip then could have been just a bunch of random epilogue chapters.

Well its still confirmed to end in vol 77 which comes out in June. So maybe another couple months left.

They are least care for each other a lot, and Okita hasnt made a Shinpachi statement about how he considers her part of his family, so far this is the most closer we are going to be from they turning into a couple. Also, she is 16 and he is now 20 or 22, so creepy for some people.

I think the studio its the same but changed name from Sunrise Studio 5 to Bandai Namco Pictures. Sunrise is still part of Bandai Namco.
