I don’t really see the issue with the idea of Bruno and the viewer seeing Diavolo as the aggressor in this situation. If you were with a friend and someone attacked said friend, you would consider them the ‘aggressor’ even if they didn’t attack you, right? That’s basically what’s happening here.

Also Diavolo still at least knew that Trish was under Bruno’s care, and attacked her before Bruno could even identify who it was, Bruno could have just as easily thought it was Nero, which would definitely be an aggressor getting in his way of what he is supposed to protect.

4 has an amazing main villain, great characters, great episodic villains and perfect resolution

If you liked Part 3, Part 5 follows a similar formula except every arc has some importance and leads into the next one. The plot is very quick, very similar to Part 2, but longer. It also has the best fights and cast in the series.

All of those had OP stands and were interesting, sans Jotaro. Gio comes into his own. Purple Haze is literally mega ebola ragemonster, and Fugo is a boring character.

Fugo originally had more role in the story and was deleted because of Araki's mental state though. Also I thought Fugo was more interesting than early Weather Report.

I actually liked Weather alright. Sure he wasn't much better than Fugo in the beginning, but he had potential. Bohemian Rhapsody was a really fun fight, even if it ended weirdly. Poetic justice with his stand at the end was great. Honestly I just never liked Fugo. He's not a bad character, he's just sort of there. I'd rather be watching literally every other member of the gang than him.

Your other post said nothing about personality or character interest though. Purple Haze could've evolved into something else while it had raw, destructive force at its disposal and Fugo was like a Kakyoin with an actual personality.

Yeah WR ended up being more impactful character. I'm not a big Fugo fan either, he's a bit better done in the anime though

Idk, I'm torn between loving and hating Kak. If he was Kak, Fugo would have had to die, and I liked Purple Haze Feedback. I think Araki did the right thing with it.

Okuyasu used it quite well in multiple cases and when he didn't you'd expect Josuke or anyone in that same fight to tell him how to use it properly. You forgot the excuse for everyone else even though the nerfs were obvious.

Koichi was part Kakyoin and Polnareff and he had the best life after his part ended but if you love hate Kakyoin you should just love Fugo since he actually developed before Araki fucked him over/saved him.
