luv me the animals, guns, and plants. reminds me of old sci fi video games.
h8 the characters and disappointed in the main villain having a weak and unsatisfying speech. All of the cast are one note tier. They never flesh out the tribe so I didn't fell that bad about them.

I am ridiculously hyped that the teaser alone already showed us that at least three more of those babies are already on Pandora for Avatar 2.

I like the Venture Star and the fusion powered SSTO shuttle a lot, very cool!

Two things
1) The Mechs are just the perfect blend between feeling heavy, slow and mighty (like a machine of that size should) but still radiating an aura of extremely advanced technology, in other words, if we ever get to the point of building these, it's very likely they would actually sound, move and feel like that
2) The Bluebois' "Beds" high up in the trees, they look so incredibly comfy and to me symbolise the permanent symbiosis between the planet and it's people better than everything else

same, imo all that stuff is just as important to the look of avatar as the wildlife and planet itself

i hope they integrate some of the modern stuff with drones, UGVs and AR goggles that have been developed in the real world since the first time

Neytiri was very pretty but the fact that Jim made such a great ship when it shows up for like half a minute is the real deal.

I went to the cinema to watch Doctor Strange 2 and when the Avatar 2 trailer came on everyone stood up and shouted "AVATAR HAS NO CULTURAL IMPACT" at the top of their lungs. It was surreal.

The final battle scene, it went for like 15 minutes and i was amazed by the cinematography, editing, and the soundtrack.

I am already seeing friends predict that this movie will bomb. Even though they are all going to see it to see 'because maybe it will be better this time.'

3 billions is lower range. 4 billions is mid range. 5+ billions is upper range. This market is starving for some next gen CGI spectacle that's not star wars or dc/marvel. James Cameron has the magical touch with box office. It's going to be so delectable to once again see Cameron prove the haters and the doubters wrong, and imprint cinema and popular culture forever.
