Honestly this. I can't help but laugh at the cruel irony of it all, as if it were a divine comedy. I believe even Razorfag said something along the lines of "You'll get everything that's coming to you, Star Wars fans" in regards to how shit this trilogy would end up back in his TFA review. Anyone with at least half a brain would've seen this coming the moment Lucas signed away his baby to the Rat. There was no hope of it being good with a woman in charge of it all.

It's best to disregard nu-Wars as canon, because it makes even the worst of the old EU somehow tame by comparison, and the ST actually humbles the worst of the PT. In just 2 years, Disney somehow found a way to kill off one of the longest running American IPs ever. That's not an accident, but an achievement in and of itself.
