ITT: Scenes that scared you as a child
X Files intro
The ending to I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997). I watched it when I was about 7 with my dad, I was fine throughout the whole film but the very end shat me up for the whole night. I had to sleep downstairs with the lights on.
WHATS GOOD NIGGA
This was probably the only Treehouse of Horror short that actually scared me a bit as a kid.
DO YA CHAIN HANG LOW
DO IT WOBBLE TO AND FRO
The one where Bart, Lisa and Millhouse fell into the giant blender was kind of freaky in a Tales from the Cryptkeeper
cartoon kiddy way
I had nightmares for weeks when I was 6
There's also that scene from the same episode I believe where they all turn inside out, and Bart gets attacked by the dog and dragged away. Kinda fucked up
in Australia they played this cliffhanger then never showed the rest of the series.
This fucking shit
i always thought it would be terrifying to see a CGI homer wandering around the streets looking lost
fucking this. i use to love courage but as soon as this episode came on i swore to myself to never click on cartoon network again even when courage wasn't on
I remember being so excited for this episode. Looking at how everyone dressed and being excited to see shitty cgi makes me realize I'm fucking old.
never thought i'd see donald sutherland play a necromorph
This is the one Treehouse story that got me. Something about Homer's shift to our world was scary and then the fallout of him lost in an alien world, no family, no friends, already an outcast made it much worse.
That was just disgusting as fuck.
The whole Homer3d bit was nightmare fuel for me as a kid. Mostly because being in a big black void and falling into an infinite hole was incredibly reminiscent of the night terrors I would have as a child.
I was so afraid for 3D Homer. He just wanted to go home :(
HELP ME. Nightmares for weeks after
This lil nigga lol
These fuckers scared the shit out of me.
This and the part where the mom looks out the window and sees eyes looking back at her from the dark made me terrified to look out windows at night when I was around 10.
Amityville Horror (1979)
Also WTF was this guy's problem?! Lol
What´s this from? Seems very familiar. Reminds me of a horror series TV episode where some kids accidentally create a curse around their house or something like that.
This isn't even the only time Nosferatu appears in SpongeBob, right?
fuck that
this is the weirdest one because it was just a regular episode

this scene always triggers a deep sense of nostalgia in me, something about the 90's streets and the sad simpsons music

>Y'ALL'LL PAY FOR THIS WITH THE BLOOD OF EVERY NIGGER IN THE WORLD!
This was so unnecessary.
Don't worry about that, user, Holocaust isn't real :)
This shit was scary as fuck but I loved the episode so I memorized when it shows up and hid at the right time
I don't know why, but I was always weirded out by the one of the puppet going around the house turning all the lights off. I didn't find it scary, just kind of weird
In one of the Saint Seiya films, Ikki creates an illusion of Orpheus burning in Hell:

Around 0:40-1:10
My childlike brain had an existential nightmare watching this and i was too young to understand why it upset me so much.
Same here
what show seems familiar
Hey Arnold
oh yeah
His jaw falls off in that scene, right?
it was the creepy nonsense noises he made, for me.
And the echo on it. All the sound is just weirdly off.

yes that one was scary. Like the ending to a bad dream.
Salem's Lot
There was some russian music show. As a kid I was scared as fuck of that man 0:20

He literally made me cry
Whole scene
I was too afraid to watch this movie again for years because G'mork scared the shit out of me.
The Groke scene in moomins, had to avoid the show after this one.

This guy scarred my psyche for years. Possibly the most tonally inconsistent movie in all of existence
