What happened to film discourse?

Anyone who thinks Ferris is a bad guy is ironically probably an asshole themselves, sort of like the principle character. He was sort of a mild hooligan is all
he’s literally nietzsche’s overman though. he just does whatever he wants and doesn’t let morality get in his way. not really a villain but a type of person that exists on a different paradigm
>Cameron's imagination meme theory
qrd?
Yeah but that was just at the beginning of his character arc, at the end of the film he learned to take responsibility when he offered to take the blame for his friend destroying the car
They never went home.
Ferris was an incredibly good friend. His plan that day all along was to help Cameron break out of his psychosis and confront his father.
That's known as a sigma round here.
He also let Cameron fuck his gf.
Basically. A normal person would have given up after Cameron’s initial refusal and stubbornness to partake in the day of shenanigans and tomfoolery, but Ferris knew he needed to. It wouldn’t surprise me if his brilliance went beyond that and he secretly also knew that you can’t reset the mileage tracker
I wish they showed it on screen instead of just having a cut and then her later saying “man, my pussy reeks of Cameron’s cum”
>secretly also knew that you can’t reset the mileage tracker
Of course he knew that. Nobody ever thought that was real, it would have been the easiest and cheapest life hack ever.
So... He's a nigger?
Ferris was never real though.
Ferris isn't real, Sloane is Cameron's oneitis and he's imagining the whole day whilst sick in bed. That's why he's suddenly cool with the car being smashed, it's just a fantasy.
that's bullshit but I believe it
He's not 'cool with the car being smashed', it just gave him perspective on his problems & how he should deal with them. Before he was worried about a couple miles on the speedometer, but now suddenly the car is in need of dire repair if not wholly unsalvageable. He realized the weight of his worries were wholly disproportionate to what he had done and how he was feeling. Cameron wasn't happy the car was wrecked, but the car falling out the window made him realize he cannot get hung up on small shit that has no real impact.
What's this meme
xvideos link?
this never happened, nobody under the age of 40 cares about this flick
this movie was for queers
Why are you trying to make this a thing? Are you going to post this shit every day now? Fuck off already.
He's not the bad guy. He's the supernatural trickster, guiding the hero along on his journey.
he's the cum sprite
why do zoomers hate him?
hes actually a bad guy, but the cameron thing is crap
you see OP:
normies use reddit
reddit is one massive brainwashing operation
literally everything on the front page is to make normies believe what they want
The real question is what happened to the real Abe Froman?
Who's they?
Aaron Swartz crossed 'they' one too many times
Then 'they' suicided him
How many times are you going to make this reply?
Reddit is built around censorship, hugboxxing, and downvoting competing opinions/information.
Blatantly wrong information will be massively upvoted and anything that shows a counter narrative will be automatically downvoted. So people stay in their cult hugboxxes and never learn what the other side is saying. There's a reason reddit is filled with leftists.
I hate reddit and redditors so god damn much.
Longwinded way of saying he's just Eddy from Ed, Edd, N Eddy.
The tv show is much better than the movie.
youtube.com
Damn, I can't do that to you guys. Don't watch it. Your eyeballs will develop ass cancer and you'll wish you could cause the universe to blink out of existence if you watch it.
what were they thinking
Women peaked in the 80s and 90s.
50s faggot
Ugly hairstyles and smokers.
Men peaked in the 50s.
One of the most boring movies ever made t.b.h.
>He was sort of a mild hooligan is all
He was dishonest and mildly manipulative. Maybe well meaning but still. If your gonna skip school just do it. Fuck what everyone else think. Its hard to relate to ferris. His life is too good to have real problems.
Not really, it's fairly eventful. Plenty more boring
t. cocksucker
Fuck relating to people. I want to self insert as a rich Chicago suburb kid cutting class, having a blast and getting away with it.
Thing is if they took the dash off they could have reversed it pretty easily lol
I need to watch this again, if not just for Sloan.
It's impossible to relate to him, he's a magical genie. Cameron's the relatable one, and he rejects Ferris at the end.
>majored in film (don't do this btw lol)
>professor has everyone write down why they want to work in film on a notecard without signing it or anything
>can't remember why he did this, it was like the first day of class or something
>literally everyone has some sort of moral/ideological reason like "I want to tell stories that represent underrepresented people" "I want to teach people etc"
>he reads my notecard where I wrote something like "because I like writing and I think I'm pretty good at it"
>everyone can tell it's mine, the professor even calls me out and laughs
I wish I was making this up.
Shut the fuck up you spamming faggot
It's over
>some faggot Jew redditor who an hero'd
go back
Your teacher's a faggot
Literally who?

don't feel bad, you had a better reason than all of those hacks
He embraces him tho?
The Conheads are gonna love this thread.
it's not just film discourse, that's how NPCs talk about everything. Mention fabric softener and they all go "you know fabric softener companies trick people into using too much so they can sell more fabric softener," mention q-tips and they all say "you know using q-tips is actually really bad for your ears," mention Jesus and they all say "you know Jesus was actually jewish and was actually black," mention Pluto and they all say "you know it actually isn't a planet."
Everything is an endless trivia game show to these people. No original thoughts at all. Just an endless stream of "DI' J'KNOW..." Yes. We all know.
Ferris offers to take the blame for everything and return things to the status quo, and Cameron says no. They part as friends but it was a rejection of the fantasy life that Ferris had been offering him all day.
Wait, q-tips are bad for you?
What a shame Oil and Vinegar never got made... Is there any chance its script will resurface one day, bros?
