Batman Begins is better

Saw it for the second time last night. It really might be the best Batman. Easily the best action in any Batman movie and they made some cool changes to the character that ended up working. Hopefully a good sequel comes out of it.

In a vacuum it's a decent movie. Well shot, good performances, script isn't too dumb. But honestly I'm starting to feel like we just don't need more grimdark "realistic" Batman. It really just felt like a remix of the Nolan movies with some stuff from Year One sprinkled in. I don't need another guy with explosives doing le scary voice on a recording. I don't need Batman flirting with Catowoman again. I definitely do not need *another* version of the god damn fucking joker one film into the reboot.

I want clayface. I want an actually scary killer croc. I want more scarecrow toxin-induced hallucinations and a good Mr. Freeze film. Either expand the horizons or stop making these fucking things
