Let the Right One In. Make sure you get the non-dubbed version.
Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust
Byzantium (2012) by Neil Jordan was pretty good
Yeah you missed Europa the last battle.
From dusk till dawn
Daybreakers
30 days of night
you should watch the hammer lesbian vampire trilogy hot stuff
What we do in the shadows
Old Dracula, british spoof film of Youn Frankenstein (Already a spoof film so) with David Niven
Also Alucarda. You missing like 30 films about vampires worth watching, do your work better
Nadja.
Arguably Fascination.
Also, FVK is unwatchably bad except for the director's wife and the references to the history of Poland, notably the Jew joke. Spoiler alert:
A Jew becomes a vampire. He attacks a young lady. Seeking to thwart the attack, she grabs a crucifix off the wall and holds it at him. The Jew laughs and explains, lady, you got the wrong vampire.
Dracula's Daughter is underrated Kino.
The Hunger
Vampire’s Kiss
dracula 2000
Only Lovers Left Alive
stop using vlc
use mpc-hc/be or mpv
Seen 'em,
Going on the list
Dusk till Dawn is overhyped and I'd rather not watch it again. The other ones are going on the list.
Has the Morbius joke been made yet? No?
Morbius.
Daughters of Darkness
Vampyres
Captain Kronos
The Hunger (Tony Scott)
thirst is my favorite movie
Vampires by John Carpenter
Do they have less pixelation?
you sound like a typical back in the day Yea Forums user, circlejerking about muh video filters while probably watching it on some shit 20" TN panel monitor
>Ridley Scott is a hack
Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned
It's an old Toei anime based on the Marvel Tomb of Dracula comics. More of a curiosity than anything else, it's still a fun watch and the main plot has been used in Angel: the Series (but modified a lot). It will, at least, make you appreciate Connor from Angel a lot more once you see Janus, son of Dracula.
A WHOLE PLANET of vampires?! What do they eat?
This is essentially ALL of Ridleys' Alien movies, right here.
But don't read the book first. The book is 99% different and really great. The Movie is good on it's own, but becomes shit if you compare it to the book.
Kiss of the Damned (2012)
Doesn't say... I think they fought each other in a psychic war because their ghosts.. um... do stuff hahaha. There's a nice resurrections scene in there that gave me the chills..
thirst
afflicted (this one is found footage, not amazing, but enjoyable)
The Addiction.
This one's funny because it attempted to fit the entire 70 issue comic book into a ~90 minute runtime so most of the time the story seems like it's just random nonsense.
Only Lovers Left Alive
The Vampires' Night Orgy (it's a blood orgy, as in they kill, not a sex orgy)
The Night of the Devils
Vampire in Venice for its incredbly difficult production and weird result of a movie (it is not very good at all). Read the imdb trivia page. Essentially a sequel to Herzog's Nosferatu.
Blade 2 : Cruise control
Would that be Korean thirst or seventies Bathory-thirst?
Going on the list.
Another question: anything good from the direct-to-video boom of the eighties?
The Night Flyer was a really good direct to video movie based on a Stephen King short story.
The Tomb (1986). Egyptian vampire-witch meets not!Indiana Jones.
MPC is so based
The Tomb is one of those cheesy fun movies that I love to rewatch.
youtube.com
this is kino
you also need blood for dracula 1974
the korean one
Vampires by Carpenter
Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural is really good. The movie has a few flaws, but makes up for it with the ambiance and how it looks.
Vamp (1986)
Lifeforce (1985)
Salem's Lot (1979)
Mr. Vampire (1985)
The Midnight Hour (1985)
Daughter of Darkness with Mia Sara and Anthony Perkins. Directed by Stuart Gordon (the Lovecraft dude).
It's a tv movie, but it's a nice take on the vampire genre.
The Lair of the White Worm. Also a nice and different take on vampires.
This
Little update. Sadly not all the films I can find, but I'll keep looking for Old dracula, Alucarda, Nadja, Dracula's Daughter, The Hunger, Lemora and Toei Dracula.

It also makes you fall in love with both protagonists.
Do you use rarbg? You can searh with the imdb id there. Helps with older and "foreign" films because different titles. 1337x is also worth checking out.
(Of course CinemaGeddon and Karagarga would be the best places, but you need invites.)
Toei Tomb of Dracula is on youtube.
I like Dracula: Prince of Darkness as much as Horror of Dracula. Its a good follow up in that there is not much time spent on explaining Dracula; he's just a thirsty beast.
you will love Let the Right One In

Bela Lugosi's Dracula is my obsession. Some say it doesn't hold up but I think it's fucking amazing.
Yeah the lady who plays Zaleska (can't remember her name) is so haunting and ethereal. That scene with Dracula's funeral pyre in the forest and she holds out a crucifix and her assistant recoils in horror - pure kinography.
Vampire movies are like heist movies. I really like the idea of them, but the number of good ones is dwarfed by absolute shit.
the Fright Night remake was KINO
It was fine, but shit relative to the original.
It was better than Fright Night 2
Blackula
Vampire in Brooklyn
What We Do in the Shadows (the movie not the series)
Blood:The Last Vampire
Little Vampire
Twilight
Underworld
The last vampire
Dracula untold
Blade 2
BTVS (original movie, not the show)
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Lots of shitty movies are better than Fright Night 2.
Midnight Mass
Stakeland
Blood Vessel
From the Dark
Blood Red Sky
