I agree with alot of these. Passion of the Christ is only on there though because muh atheists

Kings speech and TAOJJBTCRF are based. Rest sucks

You missed Nappy Dynamite.

Black Panther should be #1

Who cares about opinion of some fags?

Fairly accurate

>17. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
But this got like what? A 40-50% from RT and Meta?

Reddit has shit taste who knew

> Passion of the Christ
> kino
You are the one with shit taste, get a job

Bohemian Rhapsody and World’s End are pretty shit, but they are by no means overrated. Neither is Boyhood and Avatar, it’s popular to hate those movies

B-but my le epic niggerinos!
Using word "kino" should be restricted.

This and Bohemian Rhapsody are critically reviled. Redditors are braindead and just follow popular discourse like sheep.

>19. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
If anything it’s underrated. It didn’t win best picture the year it came out and aside from film forums it really isn’t talked about

passion of the christ is kino and i'm not even religious it's just a solid fucking film
kino post

>Boyhood
>2001: A Space Odyssey
>Spider-Man 2
Wrong. Otherwise not bad.

Avatar sucks

Don’t think redditors know what the word overrated means. Only black panther really applies here.

Didn't see (and I'm considering seeing):
>1., 7., 19., 20.
Are they kino?

What would Yea Forums‘s list look like? Hard mode, you can only list one capeshit movie

I agree on the hangover movies, star wars and X-Men, everything else on the list is either rated accurately or really underrated. Reddit once again proves itself filtered.

I can guarantee that 90% of the people who voted Passion of the Christ never even watched it.

t. atheist

>favorite movie is on reddit shitlist

Thanks for the validation

Yeah, your taste sucks.

ty 4 recs

>1. Boyhood
I didn't love the movie but most normies don't even know what boyhood is.
>2. Avatar
No this movie is incredibly based and I can't wait for the sequel
>3. Bohemian Rhapsody
Yeah this sucked. Straight outta Compton for white people with shittier editing/directing/acting.
>4. 2001:A Space Odyssey
Filtered.
>5. Passion of the Christ
Filtered
>6. Spiderman 2
I'll give you that it is capeshit so it's automatically overrated but I feel its one of the better ones.
>7. Tree of Life
Filtered
>8. Hangover Part 2
????? How did this get on here? Cuz of the tranny joke? The intro credits are based so I'm gonna say no.
>9. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
Deserved.
>10. The Hangover Part 2
Man they really hate this movie.
>11. X2: X-Men United
Same as Spiderman 2, capeshit but one of the better ones.
>12. Vice
Never seen it
>13. Mulholland Drive
Filtered
>14. Black Panther
Deserved.
>15. King's Speech
Filtered
>16. Forest Gump
They are just mad he accomplished more than they did. Also probably boomer hate.
>17. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Which one was this? All the pirates sequels kinda blend together. Depp is based though.
>18. Argo
Filtered.
>19. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Mega filtered. One of the best movies ever made.
>20. Spring Breakers
Serious question: is reddit gay?

>Serious question: is reddit gay?
*rhetorical question

>2001, Mullholland Dr, Assassination of Jesse James
Plebbit opinions
>Genre shit (not 2001, and I'll allow Avatar)
Only plebbitors would think these are 'rated'
>The Rest
Fair

watch and decide for yourself.

People have been giving me shit for liking David Lynch for 15 years and I still do. You really think you’re gonna be the one to change my mind? Nice try, byyyeeeee

>No Birdman
Filtrated

>1. Boyhood
It didn't even win best picture. Who are they railing against?
>2. Avatar
Cringe. It deserved the praise. It's a visual spectacle with a passable story. Besides, people were calling this overrated back then too, so who are these redditors trying to rail against?
>3. Bohemian Rhapsody
Never seen it.
>4. 2001: A Space Odyssey
Cringe. It deserved the praise.
>5. The Passion of the Christ
Never seen it. But I don't need to watch it to know that redditors are cringe for railing against this. The movie got absolutely blasted on rotten tomatoes. Again, who the FUCK are they railing against? Imaginary conservative critics?
>6. Spider-Man 2
Redditors hate soul confirmed.
>7. The Tree of Life
Never seen it.
>8. The Hangover Part II
Never seen it.
>9. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
I can agree with this, but it does work as a first movie and is somewhat enjoyable. The reason why the trilogy is bad is because the rest of it didn't live up to the hype set by this, so everybody blames this for creating that hype instead. They're probably hating it for all the wrong reasons.
>10. The Hangover Part II
You already repeated this.
>11. X2: X-Men United
Never seen it.
>12. Vice
Never seen it.
>13. Mulholland Dr.
Never seen it.
>14. Black Panther
Holy based. Fuck niggers.
>15. The King's Speech
Never seen it.
>16. Forrest Gump
Agreed. I can't watch this more than once because it's sap bait.
>17. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
How is this even overrated? It got trashed by critics.
>18. Argo
It's a genuinely good movie, but I bet they're hating it for meta reasons like MUH PROPAGANDA, which doesn't count if you want to call something overrated.
>19. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Never seen it.
>20. Spring Breakers
Never seen it.

>Mullholand Dr.
Fucking soulless redditors... I hate them so much

Black Panther
Fight Club
Pulp Fiction
Schindler's List
Star Wars 7
Frozen
12 Years a Slave
Harry Potter 3-8
Avengers Endgame
The Matrix

Fight Club not being on this list at all proves it's Reddit the Movie

>2001
>Mulholland Dr.
>overrated
Holy FILTERED. Also, is Hangover Part II being on there some dumb reddit joke or is OP just retarded?

Remove The Matrix and it's a solid list.

I struggled to find a tenth entry. Matrix is a good movie but I heard it touted as "best movie ever" by a lot of people when I was in undergrad. I think it is an entertaining action film with light philosophical elements that gets way overblown by fans.

I was trying to find a comedy for the list. Maybe something with Will Ferral or SBC. Borat maybe?

>Passion
>overrated
That movie has always been polarizing and critics didn't like it, how the fuck is it overrated? Ten bucks says they've never even seen it, just seething because religion is... LE BAD!

awful.... but likely
>Pulp Fiction
just for contrarian reasons
>Schindler's List
because jews
>The Matrix
because trannies

A lot of these are actually good choices, but how the fuck is At World's End up there? I actually really liked that one but a lot of people didn't, especially critics. Same with Passion of the Christ.

Literally all filtered except for Bohemian Rhapsody and Forrest Gump. Shit like Hangover 2 and Pirates 2 were never even that popular. Suprhero films don't count because they're all overrated, and anyone who said Mulholland Drive, Spring Breakers or Jesse James is a marvel fan and their votes shouldn't be considered

Shit list overall

where are nolan's films?

>as voted by r/movies

Vice is probably Adam McKay's best film but Adam McKay (and Judd Apatow) is overrated in general so it is actually refreshing to see that on there.

Was spring breakers ever considered good? Also surprised they went for Black Panther, that subreddit is gonna get permabanned for that

>Boyhood
good top pick, certainly stands out as a very average unimpressive movie that critics gushed over due to its gimmick
>Avatar
not overrated, perfectly rated, people weren't going crazy for it in 2009 and they still aren't, it's a fun 6/10 action flick
>Bohemian Rhapsody
Agreed. Shit film but people love Freddie. Malek did a good job at least
>2001: A Space Odyssey
How to spot a retard who hates cinema. Masterpiece plain and simple, not an argument.
>The Passion of the Christ
It gets a lot of shit nowadays, it was overrated in 2004, yes, but not anymore, the public discourse changed. Also r/athiest fags probably raided the poll.
>Spider-Man 2
It is overrated but still one of the best of the genre. (Dark Knight is far more overrated)
>The Tree of Life
Hard agree, supremely overrated. Has the similar boring Dad drama that Boyhood had. Worth a watch for the visuals but meh overall.
>The Hangover Part II
I'm sorry, has anyone ever said this movie was better than okay?
>Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
Yes, agreed. I enjoyed it at the time but it's a plastic disposable piece of nothing.
>The Hangover Part II
Retard.
>X2: X-Men United
Brian Singer is a pedophile.
>Vice
Adam McKay is a hack.
>Mulholland Dr.
LYNCHED.
>Black Panther
never seen it
>The King's Speech
never seen it
>Forrest Gump
Agreed. Hate this shitty flick.
>Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
Underrated if anything. Yes the plot goes nuts and the big pirate meeting was cringe but that final whirlpool battle was so fucking kino.
>Argo
Never seen it.
>The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Not talked about much, great film, glad that reddit plebs hate it.
>Spring Breakers
never seen it.

>8. The Hangover Part II
>10. The Hangover Part II
marge moment

gaythiest faggot

>14. Black Panther
cracker incels are still so fucking buttdevastated about le negro capeshit, it's great.

casuals dont care about bohemian rhapsody, it being 3 is wild. and mullholland drive is a top 10 film of the decade so this list is all over the place

Argo is seriously underrated

Based.
No.

Avatar is the only movie that I walked out of the theatre for, absolute trash. I like Forrest Gump but it might be overrated. Everything else on there I’m pretty meh about.

>1. Boyhood
true
>2. Avatar
everybody says its overrated, therefore it kinda isnt
>3. Bohemian Rhapsody
???
>4. 2001: A Space Odyssey
true, Shining is better
>5. The Passion of the Christ
who the fuck says this is good?
>6. Spider-Man 2
yes
>7. The Tree of Life
yes
>8. The Hangover Part II
nobody likes this
>9. Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
critic reviews maybe, otherwise everyone knows this is a cashgrab
>10. The Hangover Part II
this is in twice?
>11. X2: X-Men United
didnt see
>12. Vice
didnt see
>13. Mulholland Dr.
yes but only by film nerds, it still mogs all other films on the list
>14. Black Panther
yes 100%
>15. The King's Speech
yes
>16. Forrest Gump
yes
>17. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
who the fuck thinks this is good?
>18. Argo
yes
>19. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
yes
>20. Spring Breakers
no

>hardly any capeshit
gee I wonder who made this

Attached: 1651925670436.png (344x356, 167.19K)

3/19 (Hangover is 2 times) is not that
>hardly any

Of course they've gotta throw in Passion of the Christ there. I haven't heard a soul talk about that movie in over 10 years but we just need to remind everyone that white people are evil, constantly.

How many of these were only positively reviewed by critics though?

Go back.

>Forrest Gump
You just know it's seething by fans of 2 other movies for winning 1994 Oscar.
