When I went to see doctor strange with my gf (female) there were a bunch of solo goers in front of us in line, when they handed the ticket guy their tickets I was shocked to see hiw many people were seeing this alone. Every single solo goer looked absolutely pathetic. If they weren't chubby, they were bald, if they weren't bald they were nerdy tooth picks. I felt second hand embarrassment for them, I mean these people seriously can't get anyone to see a marvel movie with them? They can't ask their dad? A sibling? No friends? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Losers. I saw young teenagers who were seeing this movie with friends, yet these 28 year old guys can't

I saw Northman alone yesterday. Was fine. Only about 4 other people in the room.

I used to always go with friends but then I at uni I got a job at the cinema and with that came free tickets. So I'd often go by myself after my shift to watch movies. And well after that I've found it's actually quite enjoyable to go by yourself. If the movie was truly good, you can go with someone else again. I ended up watching quite a few movies twice cos of it.

Who cares? Its socially unacceptable to be hanging out in the toilets after the school holiday matinee for good reason. Watching a movie is better for loners than than beating off to porn or reked threads and should be encouraged, if no vax required.

Yes, i often go watch a film on my own, but if it's a new(ish) movie, i'll usually go watch the first showing of the day (just because it tends to be not as busy). Otherwise i'll wait until the movie has been out for a while.
Honestly, I don't really think about what other people think, and most people don't really seem to care about it anyway (although I'm from the UK).
