How come none of the villains realize Batman needs to get laid and that would stop him? Penguin should just be hiring women to throw themselves sexually at Batman constantly. He can only push them away but not harm them. They’re just relentless. And then Batman just kinda succumbs to the hedonism of orgies as both Bats and Bruce for a little while. He then contracts an STI as Something In The Way plays, swears abstinence, and goes and catches Penguin and the end.

Holy fuck he's such a retard. All the other Bruce's were always conscious of wealth and assets they inherited and cautious in how they were used. They used them to help with their activities as Batman. Yet Emoman literally dismisses the only thing that finances his mission as Batman. Retarded.

It's a mediocre analysis, I concede. Batman is more interesting and richer than that. But some people do superficial analysis, there are a lot of people like that and those people are loud. Production just took some of these very general takes and tried to sort some of them out in the same way that Nolan wanted to solve the mental exercise of putting Batman through the most realistic conditions that the concept could withstand without collapsing under its own weight. I don't see the crime of any of this, even less in a starter film where you have some margin of maneuver.

Batman has eighty two years. You can go Zombie Simpsons or take things from the garbage can and invent something new with it like making a sculpture with glue and newspaper.

I find the costume design in this adaptation at least curious: it's proof against anything they throw at it, it looks very sophisticated but it's not in tune with Batman's mentality and experience in a year two. the Mazzucchelli suit is the right choice for a context like this, is in tune with a vigilante who is just starting out: Basic, essential and modest.

I can't determine exactly what's wrong with Nolan's third installment, but I must say it's interesting to have Batman face a full-scale coup d'etat and the league of shadows transposed from a radicalized remote cult to a modern private militia I think is the right choice.
