There's no canon explanation given, but if you want my own headcanon, the One Above All created the MCU and is content to watch it play out, however that might be. yeah at the end of the first avengers movie, we knew where we were going (thanos + infinity war)

we have no idea where they're going and phase 4 already has 11 movies released or scheduled (phase 1 only had like 6) not counting the myriad of tv shows.

This is why they should cast different actors for most multiversal versions, it takes a lot of the oomph out of the character to have seen what is essentially the same guy, played by the same actor, get killed as a gag/dick swinging moment for another character. Not to mention the first intro of the multiverse in No Way Home had different actors and markedly different personalities for each Peter.

I don't see how Odin or Hela could stand up to Thanos with the power stone (which was the first and easiest one to get), even more considering that he could just skip the space stone and go directly to the reality one, and maybe even the soul one without stumbling into them
He'd be fucked if he fought the ancient one though, as she's considerably stronger than normal Strange
