YES it's the weekend time to take a look at what's up with the bbc situation. Gonna go upstairs with the wife and check it out maybe we can see The Long Game in action
>They say that the filming of the new episodes of Doctor Who, that is, the special for the 60th anniversary, can begin as early as next week, or to be more precise, on May 9th.
>There is also information that the script reading for the new series took place quite recently in Cardiff.
>The information came from a source who had previously shared information on season 13 several times. From him, we learned that David Tennant and Catherine Tate will take part in the specials.
>“If this information is true, then official confirmation, including the announcement of the Fourteenth Doctor, is expected literally in the coming days. Or maybe it will still happen on May 14th. It is speculated that the Fourteenth Doctor and David Tennant's involvement in the specials could be announced at the same time.
>Also this week it was reported that people living on Axminster Road in Cardiff were sent a letter from Wolf Studios Wales informing them that from June 3rd to 9th, a nightly filming of an unnamed project, allegedly Doctor Who, will take place on their street. Actors will participate in the filming, as well as extras, there will be many cars, as well as explosions.
way, a recent photo of Russell T. Davis was taken not just anywhere, but in the reception area of Wolf Studios Wales.
>It also became known that the production of "Doctor Who" has officially moved from BBC Roath Lock, which has been filming DC for the past 10 years, to Wolf Studios Wales. It is also reported that BBC Studioworks plans to sell the Roath Lock studio.
I remember my posts from that thread that is linked there!
My, how time flies.
Tennant announcement tomorrow at 3pm
Why are you posting outside american hours, go to bed
Why would I only post during American hours? It's 4 PM here and the weekend.
It was a very big and also wide thread. Loved it!
You're usually posting in the early hours of the morning so everyone assumes you're american
So you're european then? That explains a lot, I bet you're a fucking german you dirty bastard
Is Jenna in any other brilliant BBC productions? Her seasons in Doctor Who were truly great BBC productions.
I suppose everyone cares more about cuckposting then which doesn't relate to Televison & Film at all
Sometimes the British broadcasting corporation just sucks all the air out of the room. People flip the big channel on and then they just can't stop looking at that darn thing, and they get all distracted from what's going on, you know?
I refuse to take any Tennant rumour seriously, especially the ones with him and Tate.
Until it happens, which it very much will
Bit mean
German is close enough I suppose.
It's enthralling.
Reminder Jenna loves black and brown guys
I don't know about that, but she does love to act on some quality BBC productions like Doctor Who, and The Serpent.
She never dated a black guy in her life.
All her boyfriends have been Scottish, English, and Irish.
>German is close enough I suppose.
Österreicher?
KIDNEYS
AV GOT NEW KIDNEYS
I DON'T LIKE THE COLOUR
Oh yes she is spectacular on the serpent. You can tell she really enjoyed that performance a whole lot lol
What's the difference?
imagine karen and jenna kissing each other naked while all oiled up in haha
You mean Freema and Jenna haha that would be crazy hahaha!
haha what if Freema was packing haha
>dont watch it bro the writing went to shit after Tennant and it got megapozzed
All normalfags must hang.
Jenna Coleman's stumpy brown legs
My friend who hasn't watched since Tennant left (and hasn't seen anything of Doctor Who since) said out of the blue he'd watch Doctor Who if Tennant came back :3
If he does, expect sharp ratings rises,
I could probably convince a few other friends to watch too who left in that period.
I think the first truly big picture fuck up on nu who was when they took a year off so David could do Hamlet. Of course they got away with it, but I think the habit of doing that kind of thing o a whim did a lot to kill the momentum that doctor who had building in markets where it is not even close to being an institution
it was an instituon by the time tennant left
RTD's pace during 2007-2008 is not a sustainable model, it's just an anomaly. Expecting Who to retain that position in popular culture is not viable, putting out that much content for years and pushing momentum nonstop is pretty much impossible. Everyone gets tired of this pace super fast, RTD got burnt out immensely with Who + spinoffs, so did Tennant. Pretty sure he got a serious back injury during some of the stuntwork, just like Matt and Peter fucked up their knees. All the actors also looked a decade older once their work was done, not 3 years older.
In Britain yes but elsewhere it was just some hit show that was on for a few years
I think doubling the budget would make it work including the salary of the lead actors. It could have been a giant thing and they just held the bag on it. BBC America putting in some investment was cool but it's kind of silly that this was doctor who's big budget improvement
I've heard many times that series 4 + specials had a bigger budget than than the BBC America phase afterwards, just that a lot of the new budget was allocated to advertisement and merchandise. Regardless, everyone who worked on the show said it's not a problem of lacking money or lacking goodwill, it's just round the clock work and exhausting. I don't know how this could be fixed without increasing the gaps between seasons, unless they get like 4x the budget to make production go extremely smooth.
DINNER TIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMEEEEEEE
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>RTD's pace during 2007-2008 is not a sustainable model, it's just an anomaly.
He's a based homo, singlehandedly saving the show from cringe feminists, I bet his return will be even more spectacular
>introducing a new doctor in nostalgiabait episode
inb4 Capaldi that was two seconds.
Zoe >>> Clara
>He's a based homo, singlehandedly saving the show from cringe feminists
He's the first one who introduced a season entirely revolving around a woman rising above her station, and he started the trend of the Doctor getting slapped or humiliated by angry women.
>saving the show from cringe feminists
lol
The faggot agenda was nothing compared to degenerate shit RTD2 has in store.
dangerously based
Ian is BASED
Barbara is a cvckquean...
People thinking RTD isn't woke are in for a rude reality check. Sure, his 2005-2009 may seem non-woke to you now from the 2022 americanized POV but it was incredibly woke for that time's standards. He's only gotten woker and more political in his writing over time as seen in other shows. Can't wait for the ANTIWOKE brigade to disown him next year when he's gayer than ever.
