If Book of Ashanti was so strong it could beat Thanos in other timelines,
Why didnt they use it in the last movie?

Is it even possible for someone to get into these movies at this point, or do you need to watch fifty other movies and shows to understand
Presumably Strange looked at that timeline and it didn't work out when figuring out the correct course of action out of millions of possibilities. Though that begs the question why he would think the book was a myth if he saw timelines where they attempted to use it.
>book of ashanti
sounds like a pornstar
why did't they use the eagles to destroy the ring
Because of kang earth 616 didn't have access to the multiverse
because they only plan out the cinematic universe for the next sequel
So they are not planning to end the multiverse phase with secret wars?
Strange the Book of Ashanti was a myth and only looked at outcomes where the book wasn't even considered to be used.
Strange thought the Book etc*
Comic shit isnt canon in the MCU until it's brought up in a movie retard
He saw the box office numbers weren't acceptable in those timelines so made the Avengers do something more marketable
You can honestly just watch the first Dr. Strange and then this one and have no issues getting what's going on, everything you actually need to know you've probably already absorbed through osmosis.
??
It was explained in Loki
So why didnt they just use their universe's version of the Book
because the book is in the multiverse
Can we please discuss this at a time when i'm not browsing 4channel.org/tv/?
I don't watch movies for (man)children nor do I intend to discuss them.
Thanks, user.
They have "plans", i.e. oh yeah we gotta do a secret wars phase, eh let's add some cameos here and there we'll figure out the rest later
because he looked through different timelines, not multiverses - so in those timelines he saw none used the book
>hurrr timelines are different than a multiverse
peak fucking retard holy shit lmfao
Here is the simple answer...
Strange looked at what, 14 million possibilities? And found 1 where they eventually "win"? What if he looked at 20 million? Or 30 million? Maybe if he looked at 14,000,002 he would've found a total of 3 possible winning scenarios. I blame his laziness.
I also blame Stark for being selfish over his daughter when millions of people would stay dead and sad by just bring the snaps back. Imagine how many anes with 200 passengers had their pilots snapped away. Imagine how many parents and spouses committed suicide after their kids and lovers snapped... Those people didn't come back. Imagine getting snapped away and you come back 5 years later and you're wife remarried a nigger? I'd turn supervillain.
thats... literally the explanation
the TVA in Loki explain how there's infinite timelines
he used the TIME STONE, not a fucking multiverse stone, retard
It's not. GF and I just ran through everything not counting the TV shows up until Endgame, 2019. Took us 4 months and after she was like, "What's even the point of continuing if all the ones that were established are going to be gone at some point." That, about 3/4 movies a year plus TV shows. It should burn everyone out but there's always the onions faithful
its Vishanti
Kill yourself
>Imagine getting snapped away and you come back 5 years later and you're wife remarried a nigger? I'd turn supervillain.
holy i'd actually pay to see that. except I wouldn't consider you the villain.
It's a poorly written shitty mess and anyone trying to see any kind of artistic coherency in this pile of crap is completely lost. This isn't the world of Tolkien, it's a series of soulless products made by an even more soulless corporation and that's all there's to it.
Timelines are possibilities yeah? That possibility out of all the possibilities would have been explored given that the Sorcerer Supreme knew it existed and had no reason not to spill the beans about it considering the threat Thanos presented.
nah im pretty happy with life, thanks :)
he probably sees that the book makes him a threat bigger than Thanos, because he's then likely to cause incursions
He could only see timelines that were outcomes of actions within that universe. Loki's fuckup in his series makes the main MCU universe open up to the multiverse, as well as a lot of other universes.
It's Maamshantj
Strange is a lazy fuck. He was getting tired of looking through 13,999,999 timelines so when he found the 14,000,000th one where they win but Stark dies, he just stopped looking further.
sounds based
>Be on weekend shoping trip with the love of your life and your two beautiful kids
>Suddenly don't feel so good
>Hear wife scream "Honey!? Sweetie!? Whats happeni....."
*SNAP*
5 YEARS LATER
*SNAP*
>You're in the grocery store again
>Confused "Did I die? Am I dead? What the heck is going on?"
>Run out, pull your car keys out of your pocket, click the beeper. *Silence*
>Start to panic, but remember you live close and began to sprint home
>See house in distance getting closer
>Hear children laughing, but different than your children. These laughs sound... older and more mature
>Open the screen door and try to unlock the door in a hurry. Let's won't work. "Wtf?"
>Begin to frantically knock
>Hear voice inside say "honey?"
>It's your wife. A reassuring smile creeps across your face and the knot in your stomach begins to unturned
>Hear it again "Honey?"
>You're about to respond with a thunderous "Yes, babe, it's me!" but before you do she speaks again
>"Honey, can you get the door?"
>Confusion hits you like a bus
>A shadowy figure approaches your stained glass front door from the inside
>Door opens and it's a 6'5" brick shit house nigger with yellow eyes penetrating your soul
>"WHATCHU CRACKA?" he asks
...to be continued...
a different timeline is a different universe you fucking retard idc what some dumb tv show tried to hamfist as an explination
No. Each universe can have different possible timelines you low IQ gorilla nigger
Those universes have different variables so they don't provide answers for yours unless you're looking into a an exactly identical one which would be pointless
Assuming that we're ignoring him looking through different possibilities without the book. We also need to factor in that while the main MCU universe has the book of vishanti, it doesn't have the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Inhumans. So even if Strange had the book in the MCU Universe it may not have been enough on its own to stop Thanos.
dummies
So they just use the one in their universe
At the end of the credits it says:
>NIGGER WILL RETURN
One universe has a possibility for every number between 1 and 2. Another universe has a possibility for every number between 3 and 4.
There are infinite numbers between 1 and 2 and infinite numbers between 3 and 4, yet neither number range shares a number in common
Because you're clearly really stupid, I'll point out that in this analogy the number ranges (1-2 and 3-4) are timelines and the discrete infinite set of numbers between them are timelines in those universes
I like how these movies are going the exact way comic books did. They're becoming as convoluted as actual comic books, with the 'well, that characters from issue #127 of X series, but his back story was told in issue #4 of the stand alone series.'
We're even getting the strange diversity push comics had (and still trying to) attempted.
Now we just wait for that 90's crash and burn.
Kek
"Tyrone will return"
Post credit scene
>In a narrow hallway
>Camera approaches slightly open door
>Hear sound
>Get closer to door
>Sound slowly gets louder
>It's clear now. A creaking sound.
>Gets louder. Faster.
>Hear a woman crying
>Creaking gets louder. Faster.
>"Wait, not crying... Moaning"
>Hear the woman's voice "Yes, Tyrone. Fuck me harder! Harder!"
>Suddenly Bruce Campbell appears in the door opening
>Looks at camera and breaks the fourth wall
>"Not a good time, kid" and closes door
Wait a minute, the multiverse is just a timeline with a different choice, unless there is a different biology and laws.
Can't tell if you're trolling or retarded.
Probably both.
Why such a short runtime? Pacing?
>isn't the world of Tolkien
Tolkien's writings had a ton of inconsistencies
tolkiengateway.net
It’s not. People are only watching because of sunk cost. Each show and movie is worse than the other but you gotta watch because IT’S ALL CONNECTED MAAAAAN
he didn't believe it was real you retards, this was said . shit thread
>he doesn't know about the paint dimension
He didn't believe WHAT was real? And what the fuck does it have to do with my post about Strange not looking through enough possible outcomes?
>It's a poorly written shitty mess
to be fair it's based on comic books that are even more poorly written shitty messes.
Unless you're retarded it's not hard to follow. I very rarely watch capeshit, friends dragged me to see this and as usual everything was very simple. The villain owns a powerful artifact so the good guy needs to find a powerful artifact of his own in another world, it's not exactly a complicated story.
No. Movie studios know to make their content self contained. They know that many people who might have an interest in this haven't watched literally everything in the catalog.
the book retard
Still has nothing to do with my post. Never once mentioned any book. Just how Strange gave up looking for possible outcomes after 14,000,000.
Be careful, user, your IQ is showing
Sorry sweaty, it's Ashanti and she's a queen. She wrote them books.
>he doesn't believe the book is real
>still uses the power of the time stone to look through millions of possibilities to find a winning scenario
>some of those possibilities probably involve searching out the book just in case it does exist
>turns out it does! (doesn't seem to be a well kept secret either considering Wong figured it out)
>therefore time stone reveals to strange that it does exist
Why is this so hard to understand?
>Suddenly don't feel so good
