I never understood the hype for this movie. The story was unoriginal, the acting was sub-par, the effects were neat and all, but even then I knew 3D was a meme that wasn't going to take off. I don't see the point of a sequel, let alone 5 if this guy is correct.

I'm going to see it, but I honestly don't know what big game Changi thing they are going to do with the effects. The first one was cool solely because it properly took advantage of CGI and the 3D wasn't a gimmicky spear pointing at your face like Beowulf or Bloody Valentine remake, it actually added depth and what not and looked fantastic. Idk what will make this one good unless the script is amazing and the CGI is on a level never seen before. Still gonna check it out because why not.
