Is there a torrent out yet for the DS9 4K remaster?

Shit thread

I don't know. Call me paranoid but I feel like all the love this new show is getting feels forced and unnatural.

PRIME DIRECTIVE: /trek/ is the Star Trek GENERAL thread on Yea Forums. You may post about ANY official or fan-made Star Trek show, movie, or short film. Yes geezer. Spock, Nurse Chapel, Captain Pike, and Number One are beloved characters.

I guess you've never heard of them since they were never in an episode with Wesley Crusher. No Wesley no watchie.

Fuck you, you don’t tell me what to do. This is now a Star Wars thread.

The prequels are fucking awful but ENT is better than VOY and people who can stand 7 of 9 but not the decontamination chamber are hypocrites.

>TNGeezer admits being a R*dditor
You have to go back.
TrumpYouHaveToGoBack.jpg

Yeah, I've maybe only watched a handful of TOS episodes and Pike was only in the pilot. I don't consider this incarnation of Spock and this incarnation of Uhura to be beloved.

The problem with ENT is that T'Pol is not pretty. She's just a bimbo with comically fake tits and lip filler. 7 of 9 is a genuine beauty.

You got filtered.

>Jeri Ryan doesn't have fake tits and fish lips
Hahahahahahaha

>Yeah, I've maybe only watched a handful of TOS episodes and Pike was only in the pilot.
Captain Pike was not in the TOS pilot, user. He first appeared in TOS: The Menagerie, a two part episode, #11 and #12 of TOS.

The TOS pilot is "Where No Man Has Gone Before," although the first broadcast episode was "The Man Trap."

They’re both bimbos. Go Ezri.

I honestly don't care and will never watch those episodes anyway.

i watched SNW last but then I watched VOY and remembered trek is supposed to be more than just watchable.

Attached: prey_022f.jpg (800x613, 56K)

Seven of Nine is not a bimbo in any way. She's just a beautiful girl with an 11/10 body. T'Pol is a straight-up Abu Dhabi camelshit escort bimbo.

you dont mean that

>Seven of Nine is not a bimbo in any way
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHA HOLY SHIT I CAN'T BREATHE IM LAUGHING SO HARD

We know, TNGeezer. You hate real Star Trek. You only like the Berman-Braga-Behr BoreTrek shows that served as friend simulators for you during your autistic childhood.

I'd have less of a problem with T'Pol if she was actually hot. Seven is hot enough that while the fanservice moments still take me out of it, I don't mind as much.

She’s very much a bimbo. There are prettier women in Star Trek, especially in TOS.

ENTrails have allied with mallwalkers. They will regret this.

Attached: Nemesis_260.jpg (700x530, 117.65K)

I agree that there are TOS chicks that are hotter than Seven but she isn't bimbo-ey in any way. They veered against bimboism with her when she offered herself to Kim and he turned her down because her sluttiness was Borg brainwashing. She was a fully respectable lady thereafter and in no way a bimbo.

fuck off autheur fag prequel thread hijacker
kys

Looks are deciving then because Jeri Ryan looks like a coked out bimbo.

>The first kick I took is when I hit the grou-EE-ound...

>Captain Pike was not in the TOS pilot, user
He was in the first TOS pilot. There were multiple TOS pilots, "The Cage", "Where No Man Has Gone Before", and I think a plot from Season 1 or 2 was one of the ideas for another pilot if "Where No Man Has Gone Before" failed.

Make me, you powerless bitch.

That'll never stick.

Jeri Ryan's boobs are 100% real. Jolene Blalock's are bottom-tier porn whore caliber. The nips don't even point in the same direction. Google "Sandi Jackman tits." That's what Blalock is working with.

SNW was surpassingly funny at times. How long do you think until they fuck it up?

user, "The Cage" is the pilot for a series later developed into Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It is not the pilot for what we now call "Star Trek: The Original Series."

based Binksposter

Speaking of which, did SNW just feel like Friendship One with considerably lower stakes?

It's stuck for two years.

Limp dick energy.
Big dick energy.

theyre already fucking it up. every line is either a joke or heated argument

>Star Trek invented Godzilla

Best Gorn here.

imagine if VOY had dialogue like NuTrek

>The Real World Doesn’t Always Adhere To Logic. Sometimes Down Is Up. Sometimes Up Is Down. Sometimes When You’re Lost, You’re Found.

Attached: thinktank_309.jpg (705x530, 70.26K)

That's the only thing that gave me even a slight grin during the entire episode. So even though that's infinity more laughs than any NuTrek I've seen, they've already "fucked it up" if that's the new standard.

Dude you've obviously never seen any coked-out bimbos. Jeri Ryan is wholesome and not in any way coked-out looking.

Jolene Blalock, OTOH, looks like she just did five lines in the bathroom off Rick Berman's microdick in every scene she's in.

are there other examples like op pic related?

Time is something you wish you could reverse. The things you see, scars left on your soul; we wish we could backtrack them all.
into the infinite cosmos of time. Time echoes like a butterfly's wings. When we see things that change us as the people we once were but will soon become or grow into.
If we reverse the time into our lives, we have to recognize the moments that we share with each other now are priceless.
And if we take those moments in time and we appreciate them and love them and truly realize that when we look up at the night sky and see the stars as they are, those stars once were different stars, and we realize in here, we become something new.

Report all Star Wars posts

Announcing a report is against the rules.

I realized something today. nuTrek seems fascinated with stories about a more advanced party/species shepherding along (or otherwise "helping") a less advanced one. Q with humanity, Guinana with humanity, Gary 7s/Supervsors, Travelers, Red Angel, Ba'ul and Kelpien sorta, first episode of SNW, ancient super AIs in PIC s1, Guardian of Forever, getting the Federation back on its feet in STD s3 is just establishing one of these dynamics. This is just off the top of my head without wiki diving. Certainly, these types of stories have always been in Trek but it wasn't the only story they would tell and sometimes they would actively invert itl arguably the relationship between the Humans and Vulcans in ENT was a great subversion of this. They seem exceptionally fixated on this particular framework to largely the exclusion of others and play this out over and over and over again. Is anyone else seeing this or am I schizo spiraling?

Bitch

NuTrek writers think the primitives should be enlightened. It’s present in every Star Trek show they produced, literally every single one.

If VOY had dialogue like that, it might actually be watchable. That's way better than "Oh no the bio filter gel pack Heisenberg-Schroedinger gluon-dilithium compensators are unaligned and the only way to fix them is to use a negative ion pergium-tipped nanoprobe on the portside hoopajube dindleflop for exactly 7.326 femtoseconds"

"The Cage" is the original pilot for TOS. It was rejected and redeveloped in "The Menagerie" and another pilot was produced. "The Cage" itself is non-canon due to its ending, but most of the events of "The Cage" seen through the lens of the "The Menagerie" are canon.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of /wars/, the Star Wars general?

Attached: Palpatine-tells-Anakin-of-the-Tragedy-of-Plagueis.jpg (1456x816, 1.02M)

I don't disagree at all. But as of now, The Cage is the unreleased pilot of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Its just White Savior Complex with a coat of paint.

It goes both ways.

The trial never ends, Buck

Every episode of nutrek has a character that is family related to a character mentioned or has been part of a previous star trek show.

JC pointed out that STP is Patrick Stewart just living out his colonizer fetish and it’s fucking true

Attached: Nemesis_125.jpg (700x530, 123.24K)

That's pretty standard in franchises, especially after the failure of VOY and ENT.

also a sign of hack writing

spock's dad / wife and kirk's brother were in TOS s1
kys

they were also original written characters at that time you dimwit.
