I'm watching the show because I'm intrigued but I doubt it holds for multiple seasons. Amazon was putting out good shows for a while and a few years ago must have fired whoever had a sense for quality. Even existing shows that had been good got weird or sucked.

i really want to like this show. the premise is very interesting and bizarre, and i like the characters, but i dont know what the fuck is going on or what any of it means and it makes me feel fucking stupid
now i need to wait ~3 years for answers, if there are any, or it'll just lead to nowhere and fizzle out. i feel like a lot of shows do that now
